I had some problems with my Xperia ZL (C6506) so I had to repair it with the PC Companion.
What happened is that I couldn´t get connected to the data (4G). I even save a new APN with the APN information for BEll Canada but this didn´t work.
So, I was thinking on flashing again the phone with the Bell Canada Rom for this phone. Has someone a copy of this FTF?
Please, I need your helps guys.
Thanks
It could be your baseband, try injecting it with the flash tool.
Where can I get a new one? Thanks

Hi I bought a Xperia Arc S yesterday.
The provider is "Orange" (Switzerland).
I now want to remove the branding from the software.
What is the best way to do. I just want to remove this branding.
Thanks & Regards

Unlocking BL has nothing to do with debranding, as far as I know...
Its true, you are rights.

Sorry for digging out this topic...
Just to clarify: I'll debrand an Arc S from Vodafone Germany. Just flashing with a generic firmware will do the job? After that I can root/flash/supercharge it like mine?
arc s:
LT18i 4.0.2.A.0.62 Generic World:http://ul.to/gsfx4w60
arc:
LT15i 4.0.2.A.0.62 Generic Global World : http://ul.to/nq33zniu
lt15a usa:
LT15a 4.0.2.A.0.62 Generic USA: http://uploaded.to/file/f58llc72
there you go,
just choose ne for your model, flash it and your ready to go
Ok, I'll take a .42 version cause of rooting it. After that ICS and so on.
Does the docomo differ from the xperia arc? I have this and tried flashing lt15a ICS and it seems to hang, this does have a unlocked bootloader, does anyone have any advice?
bump, please help!
Hmmmm...I guess it is different, I'm a foreigner in Japan with an Arc, always try and avoid Japan specific phones. But you could always try other roms if your bootloader is unlocked. Good luck!

thx for reply
but you misunderstand
it is not about rom

it worked with the old version 6.1.A.0.452
but it is not working with the new firmware 6.1.A.2.55 either Generic or moded rom
i think you may got it ?????

Just flash this ftf with flashtool - http://ni.0a0.in/files/3432_kznsa/LT26i_6.1.A.2.55_SG Generic (1257-6921).zip
It works. I am from India and I can confirm that it works well. I am using a Vodafone sim.

I am on the same firmware, I wanted only baseband which is from Indian software update like .45. As my phone is not purchased from India the baseband is still on the foreign waves. I am no pro, but i guess that's the problem. I tried reflashing your firmware as well, but still no network. Last hope is to get a baseband only from .45 India update. Likle arc and arc s get basebands, I wish I could also get a baseband for my xperia s lt26i
So many ZL's in Canada
So many Xperia's who's LTE capability are only unlocked using the ZL's baseband.
YET I cannot find a Canadian ZL FTF or thread.
Please contribute thx
Been looking for a Rogers FTF for a while, yet to find any

I used NuT's 4.3 and crash338's 4.4 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2760199 - on my Rogers ZL and my LTE seems to be working fine (on Fido).
The generic 6506 ROM works fine on LTE here in Halifax, way less junk in it vs the Bell ROM, not sure why you want a specific Canadian one

I am currently using the Generic NA 4.3 .101 no issues.... its just nice to have the stock FTF in case there is a hardware issue
