I could have sworn dimming your wallpaper was a feature in Nova, but I can't find it for the life of me. Am I crazy? Any other way to do it without an additional app?
Thanks

Hi guys, sorry if this is a noob question. The S3 is my first android phone. Had all Iphones before it:laugh:
I installed Apex Launcher Pro together with the Holo Lockscreen running stock rom.
Problem is, the Lockscreen brightness is lower than the homescreen brightness. I've searched for every possible setting with no luck.
Am I missing something?

Hi guys,
I'm running AOSP 4.2.1 on my Galaxy Nexus and it's been a bugging me a bit that the wallpapers (static ones) wouldn't scroll. I'm with Nova Launcher Prime and I did check - wall scrolling IS enabled. Tried disabling/enabling it - no luck. Moreover, Quickpic only displays a portrait-oriented frame for cropping pictures when I want to set them as wallpapers.
Is this Android related? Is it some bug? Can we get around it?
Thanks!
Its been a while since I've used this live wallpaper that comes pre-installed on all Note 2's. I vividly remember that it had the ability that when I touched the screen my finger would cause a ripple in the live wallpaper. I've been trying for the past few days and I looked at the settings and I can't find this feature at all.
I'm on Novella Dos rom and I'm using Nova Launcher Prime.
Any ideas?
No one?
It seems to be related to wallpaper changes using converted pictures for wallpapers.
If i use the wallpapers in the samsung directory, ripple works.
And when I convert a picture it often fails.
At least this is what i'm seeing on the UCAMA4 stock build.
And running the UCALA2 build it works fine.
Bug ?
I really dont know...but it's annoying....g
Edit:
Ripple settings are under the general lock screen settings menu. If you are running a stock build or a variant TW build.
Ripple touch works fine for me.
Battery drainer though.
settings > lock screen > lock screen options > ripple effect
I'm not talking about the lockscreen ripple effect, this is about the live wallpaper called "Ripple Wall"

oops my bad... i just checked mine and ripple wallpaper works on tw launcher and nova launcher
The ripple wall live paper is of course, part of the stock UCAL or UCAM builds.
Novela is a UCAMA build, and should have the ripple wall inside.
Since it's a TW build, the selection of the paper should allow the ripple.
But I do not know what the dev added or removed from the build....g
Must be rom related. Cant stand this wallpaper but it works fine.
Not sure if this helps but
Settings> display> homescreen>live wallpapers> ripplewall. this brings you to ripple wall settings. Maybe something there?
I know you can turn off the sound, increase or decrease ripples so maybe you have ripples off?
Idk I use my beach hd for a wallpaper.
Hey so I'm trying to work on a theme for android but I can't seem to find the feature I want in any launcher. Basically I would like a large homescreen without the pages. So no snap when scrolling and widgets can be placed wherever. Is there any launcher that supports this? I've looked around google and on the forum but havent found anything relevant. Thanks in advance
Hi all,
I've just found an awesome wallpaper that I wanted to use as my lockscreen background however I've noticed that once I set it the color/brightness is not the same - much darker.
I am using Nova Launcher but obviously need to set lockscreen wallpaper through touchwiz. Is there any way to adjust the brightness?
Thanks!
