When I try to open I get "LG USB/Parallel Lock Key not detected" with an OK button then I am transferred to LOGIN site asking country, ID and password. What can I do to get into LG FlashTool?

Under the download section, 2. is the DLL file and 4. is the tot file. You can also get the (newer) tot file for the value pack update from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2361928

Do I need to have phone connected and in download mode to get into FlashTool? If I try to enter FlashTool alone I get the grey box stating FlashTool and then parallel lock. key and then a box that asks for country, user and then password. What am I doing wrong?

im a noob here, i currently own an OG P which i have been trying to update for a couple of days now,
ihave read and re read all of the threads about flashtools yet i can seem to get to flash the .tot file.
i have the 10g tot i just want to go back to stock as im rooted and i can not update.my question to you is
if i could get you you to please, please, give a a noob proof detailed guide on what i need to do.
i previously downloaded, lgflashtool v1.5
also tried 1.4
now the 1.5 i downloaded opens up with no problem
im able to load the DLL and tot files but as soon as i hit ok
it just goes into a semi white screen, it wont do anything else but give me the option to close the program.
i am greatly desperated as i lost my recovery file while performing a hard reset to try to update after unrooting, i had no success at all.
i am rooted again, with no apps at all. and short on GB on my internet plan. I begg of your help.

Mine is F240L, got stuck in U+ LTE.
I was trying to flash it using LG Flashtool 1.5 according to above thread.
The problem is I don't have the correct DLL and TOT files for my F240L, the thread above only goes for E988.
Anyone could help me ?

A quick google search seemed to suggest that the files you need are located in this KDZ file:

Don't quote me on it, I found it on a translated version of this website. Might want to translate it and read through that as it seems to detail the necessary LG Tools flashing procedure for your model.

I've download it for several times for 10V.kdz still not working for LG FLashtool.
Mine is F240L (korean version). Got stuck in U+ LTE logo. Only DOWNLOAD MODE available.
When I try to flash using KDZ Updater and LG Mobile Support Tool, all seems not working (still stuck in U+ LTE logo).
The only one work is 10T.kdz from Baidu.com. When I extracted it, will become .CAB file. And extract the CAB got 2 file :
- LGUP_GKV.dll
- F240L10t_00.dz
So I used those 2 file in LG Flashtool ( I don't know if those the correct files to use in LG Flashtool, cause I can't seem to find DLL file for F240L, but I think for S/W file is correct ).
Used port COM41 to flash (DOWNLOAD MODE is activated on F240L). Then I unplugged the USB cable for 5s, and replugged it. Error message appears as follow.
Am I using the correct DLL file to flash ? If not, would you be so kind anyone to upload the DLL and TOT files so I can flash my F240L ?

I already swap the USB cable and USB port. It still show "Download Failed" after 5s flashing progress.
I take a look at the log file. There's this line "Opening TOT file FAILED", because I can't find TOT file on web, so I use DZ file instead.

I have followed the directions for using this to the letter ( i think) and my computer wont recognize the lg pro phone when I plug it into download phone. The device driver doesn't show it. What to do ?

Hi everybody! Since I'm from Brazil, please, ignore any possible write mistakes I certainly should make. =]
I wanna share my experience with my OG. As I hate any branded firmware, I looked for an unbranded one, but, the only one I found from the huge topic posted in our forum was a Vivo branded .kdz. I was pissed off with this situation, because I had a branded firmware and it's wifi signal, compared to a CM10.2 based ROM, was mediocre. It wasn't stable enough and keeps dropping every time, annoying me. So I was forced to use a CM10.2 based ROM until today, wich I don't like much (believe it or not, I prefer all that trash that comes with the original firmware), then, after long nights awake looking for a solution, here we are! I finally solved it =] so, let's begin.
I WILL NOT POST ANY LINKS. GOOGLE AND XDA ARE YOUR FRIENDS. EVERYTHING I USED IS EASILY FOUND.
DOWNLOADING FIRMWARE
1. For no mistaken firmware downloads, I discovered a good tool called B2B LGMobile Support Tool V1.4.9.0 CRACKED BY OOXTCOO. All you have to do is install it then copy the files in CRACK folder to C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX\B2B_Client and replace what it asks.
2. Open B2BCheckApp.exe, write whatever you want in login and password fields, choose your country. Press OK.
3. Click in Applicantion & Download, then Download S/W firmware for cellphone.
4. Choose a country you want, write your phone model (E975, E977, E970, LS970...), click in the magnifier (IMPORTANT), then it you give you choices of branded firmwares and one choice for an unbranded one for each country (usually the one the name of the chosen country and it's abbreviation), for example, BRA/BRAZIL is the unbranded version.
5. Double click on the result shown below, choose a path to place it, then click Download.
6. It's usually compressed in a .zip file, so, when the download finishes, uncompress it, you'll get a .tot file.
FLASHING
1. You now have the firmware downloaded. So, you'll need two more files: LGNPST and LGNPST_LS970.dll. Both you can get links and the tutorial how to install LGNPST and register the .dll in [REPAIR] TeenyBin - Softbrick Quick Fix / Bootloader Unlock [E971, E973, E975, F180*].
2. After downloaded and installed all, just follow the tutorial to flash the firmware.
OBSERVATIONS
1. For brazilian users: I'm using the BIN_LGE977AT-00-V10b-SCA-XXX-MAY-27-2013+0 firmware and it's MUCH better. Unbraded, wifi stable and it keeps all originality of junk apps that comes installed in it. If you wanna a bigger wifi signal, more stable and keep phone originality, this is what you are looking for =] otherwise, just install PAC rom and be happy.
To download it: csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/svc/ezls/MESSW/LGE977/BRA/SWP/3/BIN_LGE977AT-00-V10b-SCA-XXX-MAY-27-2013+0.zip
2. There's another method I haven't tested to flash .kdz, .tot, .bin, .whatever: is to use a tool called LGFlashTool and LGE970_20121005_LGFLASHv141.dll, both easily found googleing them. There's a tutorial how to use it too. Just follow it. I read there's some kind of incompatibility with the TeenyBin file, but it seems to be ok with all other files.
3. The program used to download firmwares can be used to download ANY LG firmware. Just search for the model you want.
That's it. Any questions I would be glad to answer. DO NOT PM ME =]

Costs money (I think $10) from the following site: http://www.lgbbs.com:41/thread-838-1-1.html. No idea if it's real or works. They have the .DLL to use with it on there to buy, too. You might be able to use the .DLL from the extracted 22B .KDZ instead.
I've fixed QHSUSB_BULK on my VS985 twice but haven't had that on the VK810 yet.
My memory might be faulty but I remember you used the necessary tool to extract the partition images from the .TOT. I wondered at the time if it's possible to use the extracted images from a KDZ instead. I doubt if it would hurt to try.
I would try the partitions from the 11A KDZ. I have all the KDZs in the link in my signature below. I use the program on Windows to extract KDZs from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2600575.

Hi finds, sorry but i am spanish and i dont speak english well but this is the only way for fix my, tab, i flashing in download mode the rom of lgv500 or lg g pad and not the rom lg vk810 .... My tab is in qhsusb_dload, and in my pc apear for qualcom 9008, i need the rom .tot for my lg vk810, very thanks

Hi! No one's made the TOT easily available. There's a Chinese website I link to in the second post, above, that sells it. I think it takes $10 U.S. to get enough credits to buy it. See the second post for the rest of the details.
No idea if it's real.

Navigate to LGUP install directory (default C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP) and simply replace the 8994.dll in model\8994 directory.
Here is the version 0.4.3 from the F500 variant of the device.
It was the only one that worked for me on the v29 firmware.

Thank you it worked for my G4 H815!! It was bricked since my upgrade to nougat and it was impossible to go back to stock ROM Marshmallow.. (error 0x2000 with LGUP) Do you know why it works with this kdz and not with others? It's the only M version allowed for downgrade?

sp flash tools will flash elephone_p8000_6.0_20160711 with a custom recovery added but the recovery doesnt work
mk droid tool will just not find the phone
