OK, I scoured the forum for more information on this missing feature. It seems to have worked in the past, depending on the ROM and Kernel you were using. I scoured the internet for more information on this, looking through changelogs and so on, but since I am still fairly new at this, was a bit lost. To my understanding this is not an available feature in CM10.1 for the SGH-I747. This is because of the update to the most recent kernel, which doesn't currently support it.
If anyone here knows more about this issue, please point me in the right direction. If it is currently broken, please point me the way to supporting it by adding my vote/voice to getting it fixed. I would like to see my android in 40" 1080p. I have the correct 11 pin cord for this, ordered off of Amazon. I would even put a bounty on it if thats what it took.

Bump, also, would 50.00USD be a good bounty offer for this? Ported to AOKP or CM10.1 Nightly?
I just realized i should do a proper bounty thread... So, thread closed.

Has anyone gotten this to work running a custom rom? Two stock GS3s in my house work just fine with it, but I have not been able to get it to work running the latest Free GS3 rom.
Theres a Q&A section for a reason. And you already posted in that other thread, why make a new thread (and in the wrong section)??
Just seeking some resolution for this problem, doesn't appear there is anything that can be done though. That thread I posted in from the Q and A section was old and I figured my chances were better figuring this out if I bumped that thread and posted a thread in here since this section gets more traffic.
Maybe, but by that same logic you might as well go and post in the Dev section.
Its not much to ask that you at least post in Q&A.
Wrong thought.
Please read rule 15 as well as the rest including the one about posting a question once.

So, I got a Verizon GNex (toro) today and for some reason I feel like I walked into a spider web and I have no clue what to do with it. I'm wanting to definitely get it off of stock and on to CM 10.1... can anyone direct me with a simple post on where to go for a nice stable build of CM10.1 that will get me all the great JB greatness of 4.2.x? (Sorry for the noobish post but I think after an hour of looking I'm more confused as where to start than where I began!)
Not really a problem lol, welcome to the forums! CM10.1 is not in "stable" stages yet, but the nightlies for the galaxy nexus devices are fully functional. Here's where you can find them: http://get.cm/?device=toro
Again, welcome and maybe if you take a peak in the development forums for the toro you'll find something you like more. Just don't start threads in there with questions, lol.

Hi all, I was hoping to find some information that would shed light on this issue.
Way back, when I still owned a Galaxy Note 1, I followed the steps outlined in this thread to make a "Car Dock" cable that would take audio signal from USB while charging the device. It worked perfectly.
However, it doesn't seem to work with the Note 2. Samsung must have changed the pin-outs, or perhaps the required resistor is no longer a 619k.
Does anybody know what might be the correct way to DIY this?
Thanks in advance!

Check the accessories forums here and AT&T. I know I've seen mention of people doing the same thing for the 2 and discussing which pins and resistors.

Poked around a little and didn't see an answer. Was wondering if MMS works on LTE? Came from the S3 and there were issues there. Didn't know if they carried over.
Thanks.

I'm using the cm10.1 nightlies with no problems. Although some people are still having issues with the stock messaging app.
My apologies in advance, I'm sure this topic has been covered, but my googlefu is just not strong enough to find what I'm looking for.
I have a rooted AT&T Galaxy S3. It's running ktoonsez's AOKP rom. Recently, I noticed the rom has not been updating. Some googling seems to indicate that an outdated bootloader is the problem. How do I upload to the latest bootloader?
Sorry again, I feel really dumb that I'm unable to find the solution for this on my own. I'm sure it's been covered before.
