One of the only things keeping me from using a custom froyo rom is the HTC stock keyboard. I love it so much compared to the stock android keyboard (i have tried out the CM froyo roms, don't like the keyboard).
Is there anyway to get the HTC keyboard into the custom froyo roms? If so how?

Its called HTC Ime, its only for Sense devices, its not included with Vanilla Android, the get the LatinIME, here is a ported version...

I'm currently switching between two roms, OpenDesire and a rooted froyo stock sense rom. I kind of miss some stuff in both of them.
Now i'm looking for a way to combine these two. Is it possible to get the sense mail and the calendar app to work on od? Or the stock android lock screen and caller id to run on a sense rom?

You can't use Sense apps in a non-Sense ROm as they're Sense apps - they NEED Sense to run
I thought maybe you could put the parts of sense that these apps need to run into a non sense rom :-/
As mentionned by EddyOS running Sense programs on stock ROM is not possible.
But running Stock apps on Sense ROM is possible ( espacially, as you asked, stock android lock screen and caller id to run on a sense rom).
Is there one compatiable with the stock deodexed froyo sense for the evo?

Here you go ... this one has green highlights and progress bar ... matches well with the stock froyo rom.

i am using 2.3.5 stock rom odexed and rooted. i wanna get htc quick launch widget from Sense 3.5 and add my sense 2.1 rom. how can i do that?
Can someone inform me the difference between TW Stock Roms and Stock Roms....are they just custom or is it the TouchWhiz Roms?
