Hi
I have tried all sorts of rom's whit the same result. Installing and sutch going well butt the phone will not boot any other rom than viperx.
HBOOT: 1.31.000
TWRP: 2.3.3.0
Any suggestions?
All roms need to be installed in this order
Flash the boot.img from the rom (located inside the rom.zip)
Perform a full wipe in recovery
Install the new rom
Wich step did you mis ?

Exactly so I do ! Dident/dont miss anything.
The rom's won't boot. It's exactly the same behavior when it's the wrong boot.img or non boot.img.
Can it be my hboot? Need a higher hboot version?
If you can update it then i would !
Post the outcome of
Fastboot getvar version-main
and
Fastboot oem readcid
Lets check if we can pump it up a bit higher

Hmm well your cid Y13 is supported for a hboot 1.39. The only thing that concerns me is your slightly different main version.
What i mean is that the firmware will work but i dont have a stock backup of the rom.
Do you have a stock backup of your original rom ?
Well the firmware is in this thread. On top of the OP
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376
You download the zip and rename it to "firmware.zip"
* relock the bootloader
Fastboot oem lock
* reboot into ruu mode
Fastboot oem RebootRUU
* flash the firmware
Fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
Then unlock the bootloader and reflash a custom recovery ..... and install a new rom.

I never used a tool, cant comment on that. Manual commands all the way here.

Hmm i think you are stuck to a custom rom for a while until there is a matching nandroid or ruu available, i don't see them......but you say the phone is bootlooping ?
What has been changed ?
You can get into the bootloader ? If yes , you can flash the boot.img file from the rom again and you can flash the rom itself again .....

Thnx ...I was able to flash the custom rom again...and it booted properly...but still how can i go back to stock?
Well basically you need to find a ruu that matches the main version number, you need one exactly like that one starting with 1.28 or 1.29 or 3.14 then you can return to stock.....
Or you need a nandroid backup matching the cid and main version
I checked htcruu.com but there is no ruu for you, only one with a lower version number (but you can't use that one because downgrading is not possible)
Maybe there is one available on the file factory but i don't have an account there

You have to read the instructions how to, i have never done this method so i know as much as you do about it
But yes you have to do some reboot locking and flashing procedures, that's all i know about it
But backup the sdcard before you start doing the updating because locking and Re-unlocking wipes everything !!!

Hi all ,
I have a HTC ONE X on the UK 3 Network.
After an update and reboot it is now stuck on the HTC quietly brilliant screen.
I have tried many ways of trying to get it to work, no luck so far.
I have unlocked the boot loader and successfully flashed Team Win Recovery 2.3.3
I don't know really where to go next, I have tired following some guides but this is as far as I can get.
Can anyone direct me what to do next ?

Hi,
I currently running ARHD 18.1 Rom with the stock rom provided. The issue i have is when i try to install any other kernal for this rom, i loss my mobile network, wifi, etc.
I assumed the issue was due to the incorrect hboot (I'm currently on 1.28). I see 1.39 is out for my CID. So was thinking of flashing that. Was wondering if it was just good enough to go to fastboot and flash this new hboot 1.39. Or do i have to wipe my device, flashboot the new hboot, recovery, boot, rcdata.img? And then re install the ARHD 18.1?
Thanks in advance
Well you can go here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376
Download the matching firmware for your CID, obtain the correct cid with a fastboot command
Fastboot oem readcid
When you have the correct firmware you rename the package to firmware.zip
Then you put the phone in the bootloader and lock the bootloader
Fastboot oem lock
Then you perform the firmware flash
Fastboot oem rebootRUU
Fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
Before the flash you don't have to wipe anything. Just lock the bootloader and perform the hboot firmware flash.
After that you unlock the bootloader and flash the rom again with a full wipe.
Edit : about the kernel thing, when you change kernel (boot.img) you flash the boot.img and then install the .zip file in recovery to add the right modules to the rom

At least the 1.29. The 3.14 is not going to work because of your low hboot. If you want to be certain you need to do a fastboot command

Hi,
Today i tried to install the MIUI rom for my HTC one X, but it kept freezing after 20 seconds.
So i flashed the backup i made before i flashed the MIUI rom, but it froze.
After that i tried to flash a backup i made about a month ago, but didnt work either.
Please help, many thanks
Did you flash the boot image from the miui ROM zip? And when flashed your backups did you reflash the boot img from the backups ?. Last but not least , did you fastboot erase cache after flashing each rom ?

Thanks to reply so fast,
i did flash the boot.img from the zip of the MIUI. but did not fastboot erase cache.
After i installed the MIUI rom, i booted my device several times and could get passed the bootlogo, but it just freezes after 30 seconds or so.
So i decided to flash those backups, without reflashing the boot.img (thought the backup restores those) niether did i fastboot erase cache.
so now he freezes on the bootlogo after 3 second or so.
Seems to me that you didn't wiped properly, or your hboot is to low maybe ?
