I just got my phone today and done a update but it didnt update to JB. When I tryto update again it says you have to wait 24 hours to do another update. Is there a way to update before the 24hrs?

Didn't they mention an early way to get it, such as goto Firmware update? Is that it or is it HTC update? And when will it be?
No the way they suggested was manual, and it wasn't the final build either. It's better waiting for the OTA update which should be in 4 days. Atleast I think.

and if you are rooted and you take the OTA update you will lose root for possibly weeks or months. So if Rooted do not take the OTA. If you are rooted yuoc an get rooted version of the "manual" froyo rom in development
I'm glad CM6 doesn't even have the auto update notifier thingy. No OTA updates for life!
I already had the latest version of ICS and today i checked and it told me there was an update, and when it rebooted to install, it went into cwm and well i didnt know what to do so i just rebooted it, and it said the update was interrupted. now i go to try again and it says its up to date yet still 4.0.4 and is making me wait 24 hours -.- to check again.
im thinking i shouldve used the command on cwm "install sdcard/update file"? didnt know what that was gonna do so i didnt try
Ota updates won't install via CWM, you need stock recovery to do ota's.

Quick question. Where can I get news updates for what and where T-Mobile is releasing in their OTA update?
Just curious because I have a friend that got another OTA update, but failed. Wondering if its cause he's rooted? He's on a stock ROM with just root.

He's probably got a custom recovery too. Root alone doesn't seem to prevent the update.

Has a flashable zip of the official At&t 4.3 MK6 update been made yet? I tried to update via the OTA app and it just kept downloading past 100%. I let it get up to 115% and restarted my phone then tried it again and now it says my phone is up to date but im on stock 4.1.2 :-/.

Hi I was updating my pro this morning and downloading the update via ota it got to 80 percent My WiFi went out I went to check for update again and it says check for update in 23 hours how do I fix this?
