Hi,
i'm using an script blocker to block facbook, twitter, google to get my personal data. Since yesterday i have the problem to not being able to log in.
i wrote the Support, but today i got that idea it's maybe because of my script blocker, because i could log in with IE. Before i had no trouble with it.
So is there something you changed with the login?? For example using a script?? if yes what is the name of this script, so i can allow it.

Have you tried turning off your script blocker, then tried logging in?

Yes, we use javascript during login. Add *.xda-developers.com to your whitelist to enable the use of these files.

Hi,
I'm starting to think I might have some serious issue with my HD.
I'm on my third ROM(LeeDroid) and every one seems to have issues with Superuser. When an app requests root, I get the pop up to allow or deny, but I cant select allow. I can deny, then open superuser and swap the app to allow but that seems a bit odd.
Is Superuser supposed to work this way?
Dolphin HD is another app giving me trouble. If a secure website asks me to input a username and password, I enter them in but i cant select OK to issue them to that web server.
Related or am I going mad?
Sorry, I did try searching on this but as you can see, its not easy to know what to search for.
Sorry to self bump but this has me totally out of ideas

Thanks for the suggestion but yes, I tried all that.
I must have done something wrong in the rooting process or something.
I was trying to avoid this but I guess the only way to know is to return to stock and start again. Not sure ill both with that as I now have the phone the way I like and at least I have the SDK if I need to do anything serious.
Hi peeps,
so first of all hi, first post here
i got given a WFS cause my Misses wanted a Blackberry.
Bored one night so i unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone np.
First custom Rom i installed is WC 3.3 odex, still using it atm with no problems.
Today though i installed a new app from the Market, problem is its blocked by some sort of ad-blocker.
I use No script and ad block plus on my pc for years but on the Mobi i have no idea how to disable it or allow certain apps.
Did i miss something simple or what? Can't find anyway to allow ads in apps.
Anyway if you know how to sort it any help will be appreciated.
Thanks Tigger31337 for the Rom btw nice work. xxx

download NoBloat from the market and look for the ad blocking app that is installed along with WC 3.3. Then just uninstall it, you could back it up and everything if you wanted to but I don't think ad blocking apps are really necessary since most apps that use push ads are kinda crappy anyways. If you can't do it that way then... Idk..
Thanks for the reply.
I installed NoBloat but i don't see anything about ads or ad blocking

That's because there likely is no app installed to block it. All the apps do is generate a custom hosts file and with the app installed it just makes sure that file is up to date. In the case of this ROM it like has only the custom hosts file.
Quick question, is it a gameloft game you're trying to play? Some of the scripts out there block a necessary site for those games to run.
Either way, look in /system/etc for "hosts" you can edit to find the line(s) causing any problems.
In the case of gameloft, just remove any line with gameloft in it. If not, look for a line that contains the app publisher/name and remove.
If there's no lines that look like the obvious culprit you'd have to replace it with a clean hosts file.

Did not know about all that. I have been using WC 2.0 and it came preinstalled with an ad blocking app. So I assumed that WC 3 would be the same way. guess not.
Hi everyone,
I just noticed today that my Add free app isnt working. When I try and run the app it tells me that its an old version and I should update it. When I search the market I cant find it, and I also cant find any substitute
Can anyone recommend me an app that disables all adds and that can be found on the Market?
Thanks in advance!

this is the one i always use but i dont know if it needs updating coz my desire is dead.
google removed all ad blockers from the play store, they had their reasons i guess...
you can still sideload the ad blocker apks just fine
personally i prefer Adaway, open source, works good. you'll have to update the apps manually if they get updated, just search online

This is the one I am having problems with. I need another one, but I already tried lots of them in playstore and none is as good as the one you mentioned.

Thanks. And how do I install it? From bootloader? Shouldn`t it be a zip file?

no, just install the download the apk then install it using a file manager (click on it :good. Make sure you have settings -> applications settings -> and 'unknown sources' is ticked
it's a fairly common way to install apps without going through play store (called sideloading)
open the app and follow the instructions...

Just getting the word out to everyone. This works without root and makes it super easy for you to remove any Bloatware you would like and fully control it.

Your welcome.
Already discussed in a previous thread. It only allows blocking the Apps. Absolute removal of Apps require Root.

That's a big deal to a lot of people though. For a lot of people who do not have root and are on KitKat, they can completely block packages on their phone that they otherwise could not. Sure, they allow you to block / disable certain ones on the phone itself, but not anything. This allows them to block any package, Knox included. And sure they could download a script, modify it for their purposes and create another script to unblock and so on and so on. But this maintains nothing and interacts with their device directly. Nothing to maintain and nothing to edit, etc. etc..
Anybody got a list of app that's safe to block. Don't want to cause an endless boot.
here's my complete script I have handy, after testing things and trying a few things without success, my phone many times would automatically erase all data and do a factory reset in the end of my failed experiments. Either that or I'd have to resort to that Odin package someone posted on here to flash back to stock. I think I've flashed my phone using that Odin package around 12 times now after downgrading from the forced updated NK3 back to original. I immediately run this script after enabling Developer options and enabling USB Debugging.
Just right click on the script and Run As Administrator on Vista,Win 7, Win 8 and Win 10.
**Make sure to have the 3 required Adb files to run Adb to communicate with device. I attached those 3 main files which you can extract to c:\windows\system32. This way you can run adb commands from any location on the computer since System32 is included in the environment variables for the OS

Jump on the forum thread, I have built in export and import of blocked packages support built in, someone will give you a list.
I Thank you Sir ... that is a nice, clean app that's works well, but I do have one suggestion for an improvement if you are open to it.
I like the fact that it has a filter function, but the filter only works on the name in the apk name, not the package name. It would be really sweet if it would search both areas. :good:

I used it and liked it, I agree with that idea and I'd also like to be able to not have to reload packages after I'm done with the filter, good all around program though.

You can uncheck the filter and it will display the full list again and it will keep your changes you made during filter.

3.5 just released
Version 3.7 is out
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/debloater-remove-carrier-bloat-t2998294
broken 4 lollipop 5.01
not working, error dialog attached.
I figured if SD was writable and debloater cleared out the junk I could live without root with the update. I know I can disable some of the apps from the launcher, but there are / were some under 4.4.4 that only debloater could take care of for me. Unable to do that under 5.01.
Hi guys,
I'm getting a problem related to the chinese variant.
-Google assistant won't stay the default assist app.
-Access with voice match is greyed out.
-when i make google the default assist app, google is greyed out as seen in the third screenshot.
-weirdly enough i don't have default assist app anywhere in settings, I can only access it from google (first screeshot)
I already have disabled breeno stuff and some chinese stuff except breeno space.
I tried some solutions online from deleting cache to re-installing google, but the issue is rom related.
What i haven't tried is unlocking bootloader and rooting then making the assistant a system app. So what I'm trying to say is did anyone have it working like a charm, and how??
Sorry for the long issue.
Can anyone help, this is quite popular
