Apps Needed:
iLauncher (PAID)
Control Center (FREE)
GO SMS Pro (FREE)
GO SMS iOS 7 Blue Theme (PAID) or GO SMS iOS7 Green Theme (PAID) or many other alternative iOS 7 themes.
NOTE: HiSMS is an free alternative to GoSMS Pro and the paid theme. However, I had issues sending texts from the app. The app would crash on a send and end up never sending the text. This was frustrating so I decided to go with GoSMS Pro plus themes.
iOS 7 Lockscreen Parallax HD (FREE)
iOS 7 Live Wallpaper 3D (FREE)
iOS 7 Calculator (FREE)

I'd only guess to fool gullible friends into thinking you got iOS working on non-Apple hardware.

To trick people into thinking its the New iPhone 6
even though i'm not super fond of iOS. i do like the icons. i think they look great so if you wanted the icons i think its not a bad idea. can anyone hash these icons to work for the Sense 5 setup? maybe even viper? haha

yeah that is pretty much why i did it. HAHA. all of my friends have iPhone 5's and i am showing them the power of Android. You can make your phone be anything you want it to be. I switch homescreens so much, this will likely be gone off of my phone in a few days.
The control center app is great... I prefer to swipe up rather then down for quick settings and that app hits it on the head.
rather impressed by it

How did you get the app icons on iLauncher to look identical to iOS? I have the app right now, and they are similar to the original but are still different.

is there any launcher that would work with the HTC ?, so far i tried ADW, Launcher Pro and GoLauncher and all of the got the anoying settings button at the bottom, is there any way to remove it ?
the reason to why i want a different launcher is that i dont like the horizontal scroll of the app drawer, lame of HTC not to add a vertical option, -.-

Lol, very true.
Human nature I guess, we normally badly crave for what we don't have, then we lost interest once we got it.
Btw, First time Sense user here and I'm liking it at the moment.

This and reconfigurable rows/columns are the only biggies. Widgets in app drawer would be a huge plus too. I imagine someone will start playing with these things soon enough I'd be quite happy with a stock looking launcher with a few more options.
M.
Using Nova launcher on my SGS2, Works like a charm with loads of options.
I hate the fact Sense doesn't allow a lower DPI with such a large screen...
Hi all I really love my nexus 7 but I kind of boring of Jelly Bean user interface and I want something more like Windows 8 Live tiles and colors. Maybe you people know some themes for Nexus 7 which make just like Windows 8 look ?
LAUNCHER 7 uses wp7 interface, and you can lock screen orientation to landscape that way it will look like windows 8,but the app isn't optimized for tablets and the icons end up looking big. I tried the king it to look like windows 8 but it didn't look that great. If you want to see it, I posted it in the home screen thread on here. Just search my post history

I hear ya... Having options is always a good thing.
Madphone is currently working on getting TouchWiz ported over. TouchWiz is definitely not the same as Windows 8 but it will give our Nexus 7 interface a different look and a different feel. You can read more about it here:

Open Play Store and download one of many available launchers
Launcher7
iLauncher
MIUI Launcher
TouchWiz Launcher
Go Launcher
There are also 3D launchers, simple launchers, etc.
Then a plethora of widgets to mix it all up even more.

That looks pretty great. UCCW can be such a ***** to set up, but it's pretty rewarding when finished. Any tips you could offer on that set up would be very welcome.

check out SS launcher. it is probably THE most customizable launcher out there. takes some time to set up but the finished product is amazing.
i had a setup on my TF300 that was similar to the WP8 look, it would be easy enough to get that look with this launcher though.
hey guys just heard of this app called action launcher and i
must say it looks amazing although there is no free version
i think its a very reasonable price for such an amazing

COURTESY OF ANDROID CENTRAL
It's a pretty decent launcher even though on touchwiz most widgets don't work.
Plus been in communication with the Dev since he first posted videos of his launcher, he said there would be public beta but just posted this paid beta.
He already said he would be looking into the widgets issue.
Let's see.

The bad thing about this launcher is the long list to scroll down if you have lots of apps.

Not really. Just click on the begiining letter of the app you want and it takes you there. The app is too minimal in features is my problem.
If the action bar and covers were added to something such as nova it would be the perfect launcher. IMO

I'm pretty well pleased with the Action launcher. Smooth and all the widgets I've installed worked well with no discrepencies at all. I think it is worth a try. I hope he follows with updates.
I really like the concept but features need to be added to make it a competitor.
It REALLY needs to expand the edges. If it would fix that I could see myself using it all the time. But as I use things like android pro widgets and wizz widgets, it just ruins it:
All that wasted space
However, I assume as he updates it more options will appear .

I just found this on the play store guys and I think it's pretty awesome, this is the only new feature that I loved about iOS7, it's pretty handy IMO. Thought I shared it.
I'm just sharing it, I couldn't find the post where the app was born ( I'm pretty sure was developed here on xda ), but anyways, if you find the maker, thank him, and be sure to leave 5 star to promote development.
Here is what it looks like on my device.

No offence but if I wanted my phone to look like an iPhone then I'd still have my iPhone lol ... I'm sure some people will appreciate this app though, at least if/when they iron out the issues current users seem to experience with it
I actually tried this the other day and I really didn't like it. Its kind of askward since it is right by my app drawer button. So I found myself hitting that instead. Or it would do both.
I much prefer power toggles or something similar in my notification drawer. Not to mention the colors on the center are just plain ugly and don't blend well with anything.
Just my opinion!

I can't get how getting a quick settings alike will make your android look like an android, this is not a theme or whatsoever. Well I just wanted to share it, I'd never use an iPhone that's for sure but control center is way better option than both quick toggles/ quick settings on android IMO.

Curious as I notice you are running a Venom ROM.
If so what benefit does this have over using the Quick Setting in the pulldown, does that not offer even more?
Nevermind, the mod took care of it....

Alright, so since I had an HTC One M8 lying around after upgrading to this bad boy I decided to go ahead and change the RUU on the M8 to the GPE edition and load the new Lollipop 5.0.1 and fell in love with the new launcher. The animations are beautiful along with the design changes, so here it is. I have went through and tested everything on here to make sure it looks and acts just like it does on the GPE edition. Of course you won't have Google Now to the far left (which also got a nice little UI overhaul in lollipop) but, that's what the long press on the home button is for. For best settings you will need the prime, but this will still look pretty dead on without it. Steps are simple:
-Download the file below
-Using root explorer, (or whatever file browser you prefer) place the file in /storage/data/com.teslacoilsw.launcher/backup
-Open Nova
-Long press open spot -> settings -> backup and import -> restore or manage backups -> lollipop replica -> yes
-Enjoy having Lollipop home screen

The Google now launcher does not have the animations, the correct grid sizes in the app drawer, or the same looks as this does. But, if you want a 3x4 grid that looks like the DPI is extremely too high, be my guest.
No need to get ugly. I didn't realize that the GNL didn't meet your needs. It doesn't look near as good on this phone as Nova, but it does have the great google now integration.

Nova is awesome. I just switched from Apex Pro, and I'm so glad I spent the $4 to get Nova. So much smoother and faster animations. I've got the Google now widget on one of my home screens. Not as seamless as the GNL, but it gets the job done.
