Odin flash freezes on odin mode.. check plcatform verification

and then nothing happens...
I used the correct OPS and TAR package (the new Alpha8 from CM7)
I changed usb ports, I removed my battery a few times, I tried with another ROM, but every single time this happens.
What can I do? I need my phone.

I tryed to install a custom rom with "rom manager" of ananother smartphone but he asked to change it in recovery mode to continue progress ... then the device won't turn on again .. no light ( just a black screen )
luckily I still have access download mode ... but as soon as I begin to flash my rom ... or even with an official rom with Odin .... here's what appears to me:

[Q] Bricked my Gio.

So I've managed to brick my gio and can't access recovery mode anymore, I've tried to flash a stock ROM but when trying to, it gives me this error:

are you trying to flash a rar file?
go to sammobile and download a stock rom. extract the zip file and you will get a tar file. flash it

samsung galaxy gio no boot

Yesterday i try to downgrade my gio
But now my phone screen is black and i can't go to the Download Mode or Recovery mod and etc.
I cant Power on my phone!
Just when connect it with usb cable to my PC (Win xp), and run Odin, The Yellow rectangle appear in odin and when i want to flash it, odin show it:

Are you using the samsung original usb cable

Are you sure you are using the original usb cable, i had the same problem exiting from a soft brick using a wrong cable odin stuck on setup connection.

Softbricked Galaxy Gio, don't recognise download mode, only Emergency dload

Hi, I bricked my phone (not first time), it is hanging on samsung logo. I try to flash with odin, but my pc don't recognise when im in download mode(black screen and yellow text:"Downloading...") but when I turn on to emergency dload mode, Odin show me COM 16 and i can start to flash it, but nothing happens.. Just running time and nothing installs. What to do????
