What is XThemeEngine?

Install Instructions
Install Xposed Installer

Activate the module in Xposed Installer app
Download SampleTheme (or create your theme!), activate through XThemeEngineApp

Which device has XThemeEngine been tested on?
Galaxy Nexus (4.2 stock), Xperia V (JB Stock), Galaxy S3 (JB Stock), Galaxy Note 2 (JB Stock).
Confirmed working by XDA members: Xperia U, Xperia P, Xperia T, Xperia TX, Galaxy S Duos, Lenovo A800, Ainol Novo Hero2, HP Touchpad 4.2.2, Cherry Mobile Flare / Karbonn A9+, L9, SIII, Optimus G, Motorola RAZR HD, Galaxy S Advance I9070, Xperia Sola, LG Motion 4G
Does not work: HTC One X(L) Stock, HTC One Stock
Theoretically, XThemeEngine should work with Android 4.0 and above. Only for ARM devices though. x86 devices are NOT supported. To learn more, read Xposed Framework FAQ.
This would further be limited depending on the theme selected (similar to CM10 theme engine). Do report the device you're using if it works for you too.
Current Limitations
Does not support ringtones/wallpapers
Avoid res/layout at the moment (despite supported)
res/values/styles.xml is NOT supported and may never be
XThemeEngine and Themes cannot be stored on external storage or /mnt/asec

As you may know that there's already plenty of ported themes available for xtheme engine, but none of them working nicely for stock samsung touchwiz rom, why? it's because samsung using different names for theming their drawable files. Because this theme was not made for stock, therefore we need to correctly redirecting the resource, and also we need to add more items into drawables.

How to install the theme
1. Download and install Xposed Installer
2. Open Xposed, select Install/Update then [Reboot]
3. Download and install XthemeEngine.apk
4. Open Xposed, swipe your screen to select Module then Activate XThemeEngine [Reboot]

I luv the theme but on my galaxy note (n7000) the 0 is below and between the 8 and t while the plus sign is under the 0.

I'll fix it later in the next build. I'm still focusing on SGS 2

One more theme is comin' then we'll see.
It's depends on how the theme drawable resource available, if it relies to much on styles.xml like MIUIv4 etc then it's a no go for now

It seems your ROM has integrate custom toggles which allow more customization in "alliance rom customizer".
If there's a possibilities to switch off your notification panel mods then it might be show up, otherwise you might ask your rom developer. The image is correctly redirected according to your "blue version toggle" systemUI you've uploaded.

Thanks friend, can you make the images to be redirected if i share the toggles.apk, I guess is what controls this part

I'm using chameleon Rom, which using AOKP toogle. The gps and rotation lock toogle icon dont change when i touch.

Rom specific, modifying apks for a specific rom might also means that i need to build using the rom frameworks.
Some Rom might integrate their UI features deep into the Rom, but i'd glad to hear someone had workaround for this.

I tried to theme the lidroid based toggles (the same as alliance).
It is impossible as the icons located in lidroid-res.apk doesn't have any exposed ids.
I know some ported lidroid for sony are themable, but the lidroid-res.apk was merged in systemui.
But for Alliance or all 23 lidroid toggles mod i know, it is just impossible.
But if you want to change the icons, it is pretty easy. No need to decompile, just replace by the ones you want with 7zip. Some basic knowledge are required though.

just grab the latest version(or any version according to your needs and install)(latest version is more preffered).no need of any base theme or something like that.

no at all.every update is a complete theme.no need of any basic theme or something like that.

as far as my recommendation is concerned.you dont need them.i have tried to include the best possible .apk in the theme package only.
cases in which they need to be installed:-
*i want landscape ability in my tw launcher.
download touchwiz30launcher.apk and place it in system\app folder in your phone.
*theme contains beautifull black dialler but i still find it ugly.i wana go back to default one
download dialertabactivity.apk and place it in system\app folder in your phone
*gallery you have included is battery drainer.
download gallery3D.apk and place it in your system\app folder.

just download basic theme from below.open it through winrar.go to system->app->extract out touchwiz30launcher.apk from it and put it in your system\app folder in your phone using root explorer.

it is a user customized version by edint 3000....he has modified THEME ULTIMATE UPDATE 4(TW CLEAN) on his own.....my contribution in this version is absolutely zero...everything is customized by him only....below are some changes according to him....
1)combined LitePro Blue Skyline with theme ULTIMATE
2)flat black notification bar with black transparent pulldown
3)extended power menu from LitePro Blue Skyline (Credits to LitePro for most beautifull icons)
NOTE:guys it contains tw clean lock screen(since it is based on update 4)

How to replace apk
download apk and place it in your sd->go to sgs tools and choose mount system as rw and then close it->copy .apk file to system\app using root explorer and you are done..
have fun...
note 1:-yaa android marketing downloading issue has been solved but still bluetooth sending/recieving text is black and samsung apps downloading text is black..this can be solved by editing xml file in these apps(only guess )....i hope in future with little more knowledge of xml i will do that...or some other developer will do that...otherwise status bar has to changed a bit to that black is visible.

dude i guess this will work on jpx rom also...since they share the same base....i dont hv jpx now(heard it has some battery issue)....by the way it would be great if somebdoy just check it on jpx..it will work..... ...and if it doesnt i will make one for jpx also....have nandroid or another working theme on hand....thanks

Installation Guide
Theme
Download and Install the theme. (make sure you have install from 'Unknown Sources' checked at Settings > Security)
Go to Settings > Themes
Set as System (Stock) Theme
Reboot!
Set as BOSS Theme
Reboot!
Lockscreen Add-on (please choose the correct version for your phone)
*Make a nandroid before flashing!
Install 'Zip Themer'" from Google Play
Open ZipThemer > menu > Update Edify
Click Browse > your ROM, then Configure (should be done everytime you install/update rom)
Put the lockscreen file into sdcard/ZipThemer
Open ZipThemer, and click "+Theme" and choose the file
Click 'Build It', and it'll create a flashable zip
Create a backup file when prompted (flash this later on to revert to the stock lockscreen)
Flash this created file (ie: BOSS-Lockscreen-update.zip) in CWM Recovery/TWRP, NOT the original file in sdcard/ZipThemer

Is the theme incorrectly compiled?
No worries! Set the System (stock ICS) theme, reboot, and then follow the installation guide!
Is the theme missing assets for your screen?
Click 'Apply Anyway'
Something weird happen to your phone? Theme isn't showing up properly?
Try one of the following: Reboot phone, Restore nandroid backup, Flash the rom again. Make sure you're on an AOSP based rom (AOKP, CyanogenMod, Gummy, Rootbox etc) or it won't work. If it still doesn't work, try re-downloading the file and follow the steps carefully.
No circle battery mod? (as shown in the screenshots)
You're probably running a version of CyanogenMod. If you'd like, you can either change to a rom such as AOKP which has this features, or request your rom's developer to add them. sorry
Can you theme ______ or add/remove feature ______ from your theme?

No, you need a ROM with theme chooser. As it says in the OP: Make sure you're on an AOSP based rom (AOKP, CM9, Gummy etc) or it won't work.

answer = THEME CHOOSER ONLY----If your Rom does not have a THEME CHOOSER this will NOT work.
AOSP/AOKP/CM9

my theme is only compatible with roms that include the t-mobile theme chooser. (check your settings area to see if there's a 'Themes' section). If your ROM doesn't include one, you'll have to switch over to a ROM that does (such as AOKP or CM9), or maybe request the dev to include it in a future update

not quite sure on that one, as i'll be switching my nexus s for a galaxy s3 soon and don't know if i'll want to root it or not (seems to have all the features i want in the stock rom!)
i may just make a CM10 compatible version and just leave xda to test it though, if there's a lot of people asking for it

You need to open it with a file manager. Then must navigate to the download location. Click on it and it will prompt for install.

Introduction,
This theme is made for anyone who is looking for a more elegant user interface in their Samsung Galaxy S3's & for those who simply don't like Samsung's plastic looking touchwiz ui Theme is inspired by Sony Xperia NXT design & UI !
For now only support Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 stock deodexed firmwares and any rom based on these firmwares.Maybe in future I will make a theme for cm theme chooser but this is a big maybe since cm is not that stable in S3 yet.

atm not sure since I still am in XXELKC fw and now only finished downloading LA fw.No time to check that fw till weekend due to classes mate,but I will release an official version for LA around next week =)

nope,use bala's dpi mods if you want 240dpi enabled
but theme supports both 240dpi & 320dpi

Yes SystemUI FCs tried with a deodex and it did FC, with odexed it did not.
Also some apps that are listed in the OP appear unthemed (Clock, Camera).
I'd rather wait for the supported version.:highfive: Theme is excellent.

The below instructions are all that could be gathered ATM to bypass Samsung's blockage. Be aware that new developments may arise that can facilitate the installation of such apps.
1st Recommendation
V3.90 Debloater(Lets remove all that carrier bloat !! Root not required..) (thanks to @gatesjunior)
Go for it as it's free and will help you even further.
Immediately after installing AllBacksBlack and selecting the Trial, with the above tool, you will need to disable 2 system apps:
- Theme Store (com.samsung.android.themestore)
- Theme Center (com.samsung.android.themecenter)
Whenever you wanna change Theme, re-enable the above apps.
2sd Recommendation
In some cases, Packager Disabler Pro may not work as intended. Read all the instructions and do as you wish.
- Install Package Disabler Pro
- Activate AllBacksBlack as a trial theme on Theme Store
- With Package Disabler Pro disable Theme Store and Theme Center as seen in this screenshot
If you updated Package Disabler Pro and it no longer disables the above apps ...

Seems that Samsung has changed the Theme Installation Protection on Marshmallow ROM's
On first look, everything seems to install properly, until you reboot, then almost everything is gone.
For now and until our braniacs here devise a workaround, you will have to switch themes to have AllBacksBlack again up and running.

Seems that everything is as intended (for now).
Will have to take a look at "Smart Manager" ... not quite as I've expected.
I already have for the next release:
a new Icon Set
better Notification Panel
Search Boxes in black (contacts, settings, etc)
Enhanced popup dialogues (they were awful - white over white)
I'm just waiting for the icon set permission ....

Been trying for the past 24 straight to get this to work. Running alliance v8 g900a port flashfire installed, has secthemechooser installed, have tried replacing with different versions floating around... no matter what I try I can't get the theme to show up. Any ideas? Can't seem to get themestore installed either .

You didn't stated but seems you are a owner of a Galaxt S5 ... right? In fact, you did ... As so do I.
I'm a happy customer of @rahul1533 running TW REVOLUTION V5.3 that is based on 5.1.1.
You should have AllBlackBlack in yours Samsung Theme Store as below:
AT&T Aliance v8 is based on 5.0 and think (suppose) that is where you are stuck.
To better clarify, let's hope that master @talkingmonkeys would honor us with some words regarding this.

I'm on S6Edge with rooted MM 6.0.1 ROM. I have to say, that this theme does not work for me. I followed the instruction for rooted devices. After trial theme is switched to stock and its not possible to uninstall it

Very unique report indeed. But we shall tackle it!!!
Even having already 247 downloads ATM, there are only 3 reports coming from S6 Edge's
1) Yours Rooted Marshmallow
2) @coldmethod running Stock Lollipop - no issues found
3) @pas2001 running Stock Marshmallow - only InCallUI didn't stick (still under investigation)
As you have the only rooted one, I would suggest you to take a look at the permissions of the file /data/overlays/jsonfiles/userjson/org.AllBacksBlack.json that should be 744 (rwxr--r--)
This is the only file dealt with by the user. The rest of the theme is handled by Samsung Theme Engine that should be shielding you from any harm.
Lets wait too for some more reports regarding the subject.
Please advise.
