USB Not Connecting - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

I don't remember having this problem till recently. I plug in the phone to my computer and it will only charge. I uninstalled kies and reinstalled and it's still not working. Tried 2 different cables, and 3 different computers. Turned on and off USB debugging.
Before this happened not sure if it matters, was making a backup through recovery and I didn't have enough room in my internal sd so it stopped and I deleted the file. After this I couldn't get my computer to recognize my s4.

[Q] Problem with connection to my PC PLEASE HELP!!

I can't figure this out and really need help. My phone just recently has started doing this with no explanation. When I connect my phone to the computer it does not sync so that I can access my sd card and internal storage. I have tried multiple ROMs and that doesn't seem to change it. This happened suddenly and I cannot seem to locate the source of the problem. Please help me.
Thanks.
One other thing, Every time I plug it into the wall, the USB debugging turns on as if it is being plugged into my computer. Never did this before. Very frustrating and confusing.
Have you tried a different data cable?
Sent from my other girlfriend, according to my current girlfriend.
I have solved issues like this with a fresh install of sync too-

[Q] USB Debugging Problems

I did not wanted to make a new thread for this, but I gave up.
I installed Juggernaut v2.6 a couple of days ago.
I did everything in how to install it in the OP.
Since then, I can not connect my phone to the computer, it charges it, but can't read my SD Card or the internal memory. I tried 3 other computer and they are the same.
I checked and unchecked USB Debugging and is not showing up in the notification bar.
I format my internal and external memory and nothing.
Try Odin and It can not read the phone.
I deleted the drives and reinstalled then, installed kies, bought a new usb cable and nothing.
Used my friend's SGS2 USB Cable and nothing.
My computer reads my friend's SGS2 Internal and External Memory.
Everything works on the phone, CWM, boots in recovery, etc
The only thing that my phone does when plug to a computer is charging.
Does not gives me the option to install a new drive.
I will really appreciate if anyone can help me out or guide me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Mr Creeper 98
Have you tried a different cable?
Also, have you tried turning debugging off, plugging in, unplug turn it back on, plugging it back in?

I did all that plus more, I even used my buddy's usb which has the same phone as I and nothing. I can still flash roms, I just have to take my SD Card out and insert it in card reader. Not sure what else to do, Run out of options.
Renew you Juggernaut to latest one

Can't connect to usb data. Should I unroot?

Hai,
Up until recently my Evo 4G connected to my computer with a USB data cable fine to both of my Win 7 x64 computers. Not to long ago I flashed a rom of MIUI (can't remember which), and my data cable stopped working. Sense then I have bought a new cord, flashed new roms, installed drivers (I didn't see x64 ones), uninstalled/reinstalled HTC Synch. Nothing works.
When I plug in the phone Windows makes the usb connect "ding" noise, then a pop up says the usb device could not be identified. If I wiggle the cord Windows makes the ding noise making me think the phone is only partially connecting? When I connect it nothing pops up on the phone itself. The charge light only comes on.
What should I do?
Hey,
Try booting into the bootloader and mount usb or toggle usb depending on your recovery and that should fix the problem if not, it might be an issue with MIUI! It has been giving me trouble when I tried to flash it so I couldnt use it, but many times between roms and kernals sometimes you will loose usb and it isnt the cable! try flashing a new rom and let me know how it goes!
stevo!
Hit the thanks if I helped!
I went into recovery and mounted usb, and sd card and the windows pop up came up. It said the usb device has malfunctioned, and windows could not recognize it. Same thing when I reboot. Seems to connect/disconnect when i move the cord with that pop up anytime it does connect.
I've flashed CM7 nightly sense then and now I am on [10-11-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [1.3][2.3.7 Stable] #Stablistic. I did notice when I click the pop up in windows it takes me to the info page for the unidentified usb and it says there is no driver installed for it.
Alright, I have two guesses.
I am glad you were able to mount it, and as long as it is reading i really dont think its the cord.
Now did you partition your sd card? because if you did you turned it to a linux file and your windows pc cannot read that
can you reformat your sd card and try it again?
If you keep having issues pm me.
I have had problems with that on my wifes lg optimus so what i did i took out the SD card and downloaded Mini tool partition wizard home edition 7 i used this to reparation the sd card and then reinserted the sd card and it worked after that. note i did put a ext 3 partition on the sd card. also if you have two primary partitions on the card widows will only recogize the first one. not sure if that is the issue in this case but i hope this helps
here is the partition wizard download

first uninstall kies and samsung driver ,reboot.
reinstall samsung driver it will try to update just cancel the update and it will install fine. do not install kies now plug in your usb to the pc and then to the phone.
if it detects good if not then the usb flex of the phone is the culprit take it to ss for a repair and be ready to make it all stock and status normal and yes despite the bad flex it does charge the phone gone through the same prob before
I used to have a galaxy s 2 it would not be detected on the pc..because while it was charging at one time it fell down the whole weight of the phone landed on the stub/pin of the charger...it continued to charged though... took it to Samsung repair store they just changed a small circuit board which had the charger and Mic...very simple and fast hardly 5 min...if all fails for you..try this option

Reboot your PC.

Entered TWRP mode, somehow deleted Android, phone also refuses to receive files HELP!

As the title said I initially wanted to perform a force update on my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 2) to Android 5.0, but being an idiot that I am I somehow apparently deleted Android completely causing my phone to be stuck in TWRP.
My friend recommended me to download a new ROM file but for some reason my phone's connection to my laptop seems very odd since it for some reason will not receive any files at all. Every attempt to transfer any files will fail (seemed like it was doing something but does nothing and fails) and whenever I try making a folder it will have a Error Creating Folder message.
Tried different cable? Different USB port? Different computer? Inserting an external SD card into the computer and copying the ROM to that then viewing the external in TWRP?
Easiest solution may be to flash a sock rom via Odin, twrp, and then the custom rom.
