I like the background wallpaper on the preset stuff in the HTC messaging app (see attached pic)
Does anyone know where it's hidden in the dark depths of the phone's system? If so could you direct me or extract it for me please???

Thanks. I have it already in my messages app but I want it as my standard wallpaper too but can't find it to set it...

Might be able to find something very close that you like by doing a google image search for: honeycomb texture wallpaper
This thread has a large collection and there are some that are similar in the textures folder: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317473
The actual image in the messaging app is more than likely a repeated pattern or png file within the apk, so I don't know if it would be in a static file within the apk that you could pull out even if decompiled.
See how this works. I reconstructed it from that screenshot.
You are a gentleman, thank you

Bump... anyone?

Not sure of a fix or how to add images but the reason you have empty thumbs is because the ROM your using doesn't supply enough images to fill up the directory. The images in your screen shot is not the collection of images found on the stock ROM.
Its calkulin rom but if am not wrong i have those after flashing new theme (Riptide9). I am trying to figure out where images are stored.

I'm not sure but maybe there is a value somewhere that tells the OS how many images should be displayed or something. I'll play around on my end and see what I can come up with
Great, will wait for response. Thanks !
Hello GUIse,
Take a look at the screen shot below:

Do you think there's something missing? I'm not sure, to me it looks a little "All over the place" I've been configuring the LCD Density by editing the build.prop and found 192 density is quite sweet & Launcher Pro works well with it.
But I'm wondering if I could get some advise on what to do with the rest of the free space on my home page!
I'm one of those people who likes everything in one place (Apps, games etc.)
Any feedback would be appreciated.
music player widget maybe?
I also like to have a calendar widget on my homepage.
And why is your game folder floating around ?
I've moved it now. Made an "Apps" folder as well so it suits the homepage.
Looks good now anyway. Will post a screenshot when I can
Right, after a little customizing I have come up with the attached image. What do you think?

You simply need to edit the AndroidManifest.xml file. Look for the targetSdkVersion attribute and change it's value to 14. If there's no such attribute, change the value of minSdkVersion. That should do the trick.
Please notice that you won't be able to access the application's main menu after this, but I'm sure you knew that already.
thanx for reply but how to edit apk just like normal open zip edit it with text editor and edit or is there any signing of apk reqd. btw go lauchncher already has menu button in right hand bottom corner of screen

If u can't access the item in Google Play Store i leave here the apk file. It's free so is not warez.
Check here also the DashClock list of current extensions:

Hi Guys,
I'll have few questions, if anyone is interested:
1st will be if the notification icons can have their own color and not white or grey
2nd is if will be added notification support for any installed application on the phone
Thank you.
Very thankful to the op I searched Google to get the apk and the search directed me here.

On the Android Developer website, when you go to the Design page, there's a tab called Style. When you click on Style, it shows a picture of the new HOLO colors featured in a wallpaper.

On another website, I read that people download the color swatches and are able to create this wallpaper. It would look best without all the lines in the picture, just the five colors.

Here, just made it in Photoshop. Especially made for the Nexus 4 (wallpaper resolution 1536x1280 in PNG format).
Exactly like the pic above, but without the white technical lines.
Two versions. Personally I like the first one, because it will show a wallpaper scrolling effect,
Wallpapers are in the .zip attachment.
Out of curiosity, what launcher are you using?
