Why is it that when I am streaming a video online, after several minutes or so, it stops loading and the only way I can get it to go is refreshing g the page?

I don't have that issue, what are you trying to watch?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Actually what Browser are you watching the video in? That's the main question there!! Try DOLPHIN browser, Opera is good also.

Just like streaming TV shows online from random hosting sites. I don't get that issue on my computer. I have tried chrome, the Internet browser stock, and firefox

Earlier skyfire was satisfying my this need but with ICS upgrade its not possible, plz suggest me an app

Why do you need this?
I think Opera will work for you. Not sure why you would need that function, though. There's no flash support, by the way.

Is it just me, but my Dolphin hd browser keeps crashing when I go to the facebook website. Not totally crashing but it stops responding and I'm forced to close it. Anyone else having this issue?

Use the app.. or chrome.. dolphin is so 2.3 and late
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
Yea same here I just removed dolphin and dolphin mini
If chrome allowed to sync system bookmarks I'd use it plus I read it is a battery hog
I have no issues with dolphin hd and Facebook. But I use the app more.

Google Chrome. The feature where it magnifies small hard to press links alone is a god send. The only problem is... no adobe flash support. Second to that is ICS browser+. Its quick menu is awesome and every web browser should have something like it.

Same for me. I recently loved Dolphin until they completely removed flash support in their browser and refuse to bring it back. So i just use boat and love watching my flash videos on it
But when i want a simple quick browser, i use Opera Mobile with the single column view enabled. Things like facebook email and quick google searches is what i use opera for.
Opera
I like the start screen and tabs better than firefox, dolphin, or chrome.
Another fan of opera MINI....don't care for opera mobile.

Agreed, i do the same. Opera is very friendly on reading articles and such. I find boat to be the fastest because i tested out browsers when doing the Microsoft challenges lol

Opera has released a beta of their new WebKit browser. I am very very impressed with it's performance. Some of the benchmarks I ran were very impressive. Besides a few bugs it works very well and is my daily browser now. Go check it out in the play store.

Performance is good...but I don't like the GUI. Don't hide my back/forward buttons, Opera.
The pie controls on the stock browser are the best...full screen browsing when not needed and out of the way, there when you want them with minimal effort.
Yeah the pie controls are pretty nice.

I don't think flash works with this opera.

I agree Opera browser beta is a nice browser.
I've been using Opera Mobile as my main browser for a few years now, so I have plenty of faith in the company when it comes to mobile browsers.
can anyone share the apk? I can't download from the play store
Kind of ugly but was ok.

I don't use mobile users agent, I always view the desktop website, so as far as desktop views go, opera is best because it reflows the text to fit in the screen when you Zoom. other browsers are weak with this.
Firefox is good, cause it supports native flash, but lately habit browser kicks firefoxes ass. But again neither of these have the reflow technology like opera.

Yeah I use Firefox occasionally as well. Its pretty nice. Sometimes scrolling isn't as smooth. It will take a while but I'm very curious to see what Mozilla does with servo.

You can get some from the Play Store, Amazon, Netflix and Hulu. Also if you have ROKU, I believe there is an app for that too. Yes those are all paid, but it is a place to start. Also, most networks (at least in the US) have either an app or way to view shows on/from them.
I do hope that you are not asking about torrent sites and how to use them. If you are, then Google is your friend and please do not post such on XDA.
I'm doing Netflix hulu and the occasional red box instead of cable right now, saving a bloody fortune streaming media to my smart tv from my note

I'm looking for apps. .. Nothing I need to buy hardware for. .. I live in Canada so Hulo etc don't work well here. Thanks.

So you want completely free, "latest" releases and current tv series all through an app.... Let me know if you find anything because I've stuck my head in that hole and there's no turtle to be found.
