What Rom do you guys think is closest to what the s4 is running?

I remember when I had my Samsung Captivate, there was a ROM called REMICS. The ROM was essentially the S3 stock ROM, but ported to the Captivate. This was by far one of the best ROMs I've ever used, and it ran so smooth. Hopefully we will see something like this (S4 ROM working on S3) one day.
That's my "rant"...

Is there a way devs can port the stock rooted s3 rom to the s2? I would love to see some of the apps on my s2 that the s3 has.

You can be sure work on a ported of the GS3 rom is going on somewhere, by someone. Give the devs some time.
Even though both phones are GalxayS devices they are quite different from one another so it will take some time to get things working.

Ive been able to get the note2 camera (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2034867) installed and working on my AT&T s3 but features like best group pose and the like arent available. It mentions something about needing touchwiz and a deodexed rom. Has anyone got it to work with Tasks AOKP? (release 12/2) I was going to flash blackjelly because it is confirmed to work with that rom but i dont want to give up AOKP. This rom is ROCK solid but id love to have the Note 2's camera!

Does anyone know of any galaxy s4 THEMES? (just something that themes stock deodexed ROMs?)
I googled and all it brought up was sub forums for each carrier. I think the white background and s4 theme would just look nice on the white s3. Any ROMs that have a stock s4 theme?

There are many ROMs out there that have a galaxy s4 launcher but I can't remember the name. But one that I remember having the s4 theme was called chemistry ROM but it was a little buggy.

ALso HyperDrive has some themed settings and other things like GS4, but extremely buggy. Hasn't been stable since release months ago.

If you are asking about a Touchwiz ROM, it likely isn't going to happen. There are a few things from Touchwiz that have been ported, like the launcher. Also there are TW themes.
If it is an AOSP ROM then it is possible.
Don't think that there will be a 4.3 ROM ported, but there is an old one in the Android development, but it is not really working.
@op what variant of the nexus do you have? Toroplus has a touchwiz rom which is 4.1.2. I run it on my phone and its very comparable to my wife's s3

I have always run CM or AOKP ROMs on all my Galaxy phones. My wife has an I747 and did not like me "updating" her last phone to CM10. I am having trouble figuring out IF and which ROMs are basically the S4 ROM set to run on an S3? Are there any TW Base ROMs that I can give her an S4 in S3 clothing?

Look at Jedi Academy. It looks like the S4, contacts, dialer, msgs....etc.. Obviously minus the things that require hardware. There is a screenshots tab. Take a look. The most recent ROM is 'Jedi Master'. As far as 4.2 or 4.3 no. But you can have themed to look the same.
BTW Posting title for a different phone in this forum may stop people from looking. A clearer title may have helped. ie: "S4 style ROM for i747"
