[ROM][4.2.2][Linaro & O3][GCC4.8] FTL CM10.1 - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Faster-Than-Light Cyanogenmod 10.1
I have always loved the light weight yet useful feature sets of CM and it's massive base of developers. However I have been frustrated by CM's lack of performance when compared to other ROMs because of its emphasis on device compatibility instead of performance. This is why I built FTL CM.
FTL CM Features:
- Compiled with Linaro toolchain 13.06 (4.8)
- O3 and other optimizing cflags
- Linaro's Bionic
- Mount tweaks
- Android 4.3 font
- Replace some Gingerbread UI elements with Holo ones
- 36dp Navigation Bar
- Faster status bar velocity
- Quick Settings panel auto default on no removable notifications
- Fancy Kernel by Boype (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2115590)
Downloads:
Copy.com - https://copy.com/lalke0x6f8Vo
Gapps: http://goo.im/gapps
Instructions:
1) Backup device
2) Factory reset (Wipe data) if not coming from another CM ROM
3) Flash ROM zip
4) Flash gapps zip
Please feel free to report any bugs or offer any suggestions.
Thanks

ChangeLog:
Code:
Build Date: 7/12
- Upstream CM changes (including a few security fixes)
- Enabled more build optimizations
- Switched to Linaro's Bionic
- Added Mount tweaks
- Android 4.3 font
- Replace some Gingerbread UI elements with Holo ones
- Faster status bar velocity

Sweet!

I literally just decided it was new ROM time as the one I'm running is really laggy and glitchy lately (Beanstalk) guess I'll give this a go!
Sincerely, The Droid

Any reason there's no developer options? Just wanna change the animation speeds.

Every time I attempt to log in to Facebook's mobile site the browser goes away as if I hit the home nav key. Have not tested on other websites. Can anyone else replicate?

It looks like a problem with linaro. happens on most linaro ROMs for this device and nexus 10. a few devs and I are looking into it.

[ROM][10/19] Stock sX v 3 [UVALJ4] Stable/Beats/Xloud/Bravia + More

Stock sX
This rom has no added themes; it is 100% based of pure stock builds that are released for the Galaxy S3. My goals for the rom are to make it 100% stable, add in mods that are used on a daily basis, and increase performance/battery life. I started this little project in my free time based on the UVALJ4 base. I found this base to be the most stable so far, and debloated the crap out of it (except flipboard, dropbox, kies, smemo).
This ROM is runs perfect and is intended to be a daily driver: there's no flaws, it is fast, and provides excellent battery life. For anyone who is tired of the JB leaks with 1 or 2 things missing or a ROM that is heavily themed this is it.
What's Included:
Code:
- Based on T-mobile LH2 ROM
- i9300 Boot Animation
- Stock Theme
- Ram Hack (360MB/1.59gb on first boot)
- Bravia Engine
- Xloud
- Beats Audio
- 4 way reboot (coming)
- Auto Contrast Picture
- Audio fix
- Modified TW launcher (5x5/5x6)
- Smooth Scrolling
- CIQ FREE
- Improved Sleep
- Improved Radio
- Google Now
- Removed Samsung/T-mobile crapware.
- NFC always on
- More stuff I'm forgetting

Recommendations:
- Install a different keyboard, the stock swype/samsung keyboards cause an awkward animation when opening the messaging app
- Set animation scale to .5x in developer options
- Install a different Radio (UVLI5 works best for me)
Installation Instructions:
Code:
- Boot into clockwork recovery
- Wipe Data
- Wipe Cache
- Wipe Dalvik Cache (I would do these three twice)
- Install ROM from SD Card
- Boot it up, wait a couple minutes
- (IMPORTANT) log into your gmail
- REBOOT THE ROM
- Now your good to go!

Please, keep this thread friendly, clean, and respectable. You are all more than welcome to have casual conversations in my thread, so long as you guys don't break any rules, and help out others that ask questions. I will be participating too. I'm not the kind of dev to make (Or kang, in this instance) a ROM and then leave you guys. I am more than willing to help you guys out, just please don't insult me, or others. And please, don't 'flame' me for not compiling this ROM from source. I am working on a source build as we speak, and intend to update the ROM further down the road from actual AOSP source, versus 'Kanging' CyanogenMods. And I know Kangs aren't typically accepted in this community, but this is for the kind of user who wants amazing audio quality, a reliable source, and constant updates. If you don't like this ROM, please give me some constructive criticism, instead of making fun of me for Kanging.
Anyways... Enjoy! And feel free to ask questions. Just don't repeat them, or ask them in a rude or demanding manner.

Managed to get this rom installed with the latest franco kernel nightlly #361. So far everything seems to be working the same as the previous rom I was on. Which was the latest CM nightlly and franco kernel. One thing I would like to mention is my mac id issue is gone with this ROM. Ever since I got my GNEX and started using CM roms, my mac id would change every time i rebooted my phone. Now it's static again. Not sure what you did with this one considering it's based on the last rom I was using, but please dont change it in the future builds lol.

[ROM] [AOKP] [4.2.2] aokpk_maguro

AOKPK is kang of Android Open Kang Project. It's self compiled using PUB (Project Unicorn Butter) with more stuff included.
This ROM is dedicated specialy for czech users. I start to compile own build because at first I want to add my czech translation into ROM and second in JB (4.1) time there isn't any public AOKP build.
In early beginnings this was just merged gommits in AOKP gerrit and my translations. During time I start to cherry picking new stuff and also try to add some useful features. Recenty I discovered goo.im features for ROM updates and decided to name this kang as AOKPK.
So, what is inside?
All official features from AOKP (https://github.com/AOKP, http://gerrit.sudoservers.com/#/q/status:merged,n,z)
Compiled using PUB (https://github.com/UnicornButter)
Included forked franco.Kernel (https://github.com/kecinzer/francoKernel) in-line builded with some added stuff (vibration control)
Phone Advanced Settings (aka vibrate on answer), Increasing ringtone volume
StatusBar hide toggle
B&W boot animation
cLock (aka Chronus) with integration into RomControl
Many usefull cherry picks from AOKP gerrit (http://gerrit.sudoservers.com/#/q/status:open,n,z)
I compile ROM at daily basis so consider it as daily builds.
Few days ago I decided to make "stable" build sometimes, when I got good respons from people.
All builds are available on goo.im (http://goo.im/devs/kecinzer/aokpk/maguro) with Goo Manager OTA update compatibility.
For now recommanded gapps are 20121212 (it's also linked in Goo Manager during ROM download).
I recommand TWRP Recovery and Goo Manager (for recieving OTAs).
Please don't ask about changelog, because I adding cherry picks often and it's very hard to keep trail with it. But I'll try to make changelog for "stable" builds.
And please don't expect much of support, because as it's been told - this ROM is primary dedicated for small group of czech users. Most of bugs are AOKP related because basicaly it's AOKP ROM . So I'll try to solve problems thats are related to my stuff.

As intrigued as I am by having a 4.2.2 rom with complete working hardware, I'm also disgusted by the thought of having to sign up for some referral service in order to download. Is there any way you could throw this up on XDA's own fileserver itself? (attach file to post)

Referral service?? What service.
*edit* Oh you mean sign up to 4 shared? XDA won't allow an upload of a file that large. Uploaded to my Dropbox and updated OP.

seems promising.
btw, what do you mean by 'BT headset tempramental'?
Can't I expect a BT audio/phone ??

Is this really smoother than the flinny's AOSP or Fyodor's one?
@masterleron: Could you please upload your ROM and GApps zips to d-h.st ? The servers are good there, provides a decent speed universally.

I believe so. This rom has bloat removed and added tweaks for speed and lag removal. This has more free RAM than Flinny's and Fryodoor's. (See screens). Also an init.d tweak to zipalign all apps on boot. (Faster apps)

Why? I have already moved it from 4Shared because some users did not want to sign up to download. Dropbox seems fine to me.

Btw I commend you for being only 13 years old with great grammar and you also know how to dev roms! Good job even though I haven't yet tested out any of your work.

Hey!
Lay off the language, and leave this guy alone. He did an awesome job, and mistakenly posted it here. Possibly in excitement. We can always move the thread, it doesn't matter at all.
Keep up the good work, by the way! This is fantastic! I'm running stock, myself, so I won't be able to take advantage of it, but MANY others will. Fantastic job.

I just posted it here because these are personal builds, and not in development. There are plenty of Roms in the Dev section already, just sharing my personal preference. The min. CPU is at 200, kick it up for better performance, I keep it low for better battery life. Lag gets better as it settles in.

I have a quick question. It seems like since moving from 4.2 to 4.3 it seems like dolphin and next browser scolling lags. It doesnt seem to lag in chrome but in those other 2 browsers it does. It that a bug with 4.3 or the browser itself? Is there a way to fix it? Thanks

It's the browser..had the same issue, so I just use chrome now.
Greetings. I am one of the lead devs for Vanir. Do you compile this from source? if you do would you be interested in becoming our official device maintainer? the responsibilities include general bug reporting/testing, updating the device tree and vendor blobs when necessary. not much. also, you can link the official build server in the OP so you don't have to compile/upload constantly.

Yes, compiled from your source, unaltered. Yes, I have time to be a maintainer. I'll contact you after the weekend.
