Currently I am running the Goodness rom which is based off mc2 from what i understand but i have the MA7 modem installed and I am wanting to install the JellyBombed rom which is based off of LK8. My baseband says MA7 as well. Can i just wipe everything and flash the lk8 JellyBomb rom like normal or do i have to flash a separate file to return my baseband or modem back to Lk8 first and then flash the rom? Thanks.

You can run ma7 on any rom really doesn't have to be exact one

Make a backup first. Always make a backup.
Ya I made a complete backup of my original rom even with bloat I find that sometimes original roms are the most stable

JB builds do not play nice with ICS modems. You need to flash a JB modem to resolve.
And for other folks, let's try not hitting noobs too hard on the head, okay?
That's one of the reasons this community has been liked as much as it is.

you can read this thread and flash garwynn's carrier partition img
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2062499&page=16
Easiest way to go pure LJC, ready-to-go-back-to-Sprint is to use Billard412's restore .zip.
Reverses the bootloader, fixes carrier, puts you back to LJC and resets the counter.
Is there a flash able zip to De odex stock 4.1.2?

If you're asking if there is a zip that will deodex your current setup the answer is no.
If you would like to flash a full ROM that has already been deodexed, the link has been posted above.
There are quite a few great deodexed GB27 ROMs available in the Epic 4G Touch Android Development forum. I can't suggest any because I will not play favoritism toward any developer or their project. You need to decide for yourself what you want to run.
