I been searching how to root my VM Epic 4G Touch on FL26.. But I cant find anything clear enough to try.. Can some one be kind enough to lend me a hand in how to root My phone.

Use the FL24 method as illustrated by qbking...it's the same thing

Really? cool Thanks... so any of the sprint Roms worked on my Device? like without loosing Data or MMS??

You will have to enter VM mmsc url to send/receive mms pics, but you can still get data, text, voice, with Sprint roms on your VM e4gt.

Like the title says, I need a completely idiot proof rooting method that's up-to-date. The methods I've tried have not worked and I was forced to factory reset twice to return to normal.

Thank you, I tried the Team Epic route the first time and managed to botch it by leaving auto-reboot checked! I need to remember to look through comments on there next time XD

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this post but here it goes I'm trying to build just plain cm10.1 from source and I keep getting an error about superuser I'll post a screen shot of the error I don't know what to do I have tried different device trees right now I'm using the epicmtd tree and still run into issues any ideas? I'm lost??
If I'm not mistaken. The epicmtd is the OG Epic 4G.

got some problem with the Mk2 modem Ive got the Wicked 7 and I want to update to the wicked 10 update but ive not installed any modem on my phone and the only thing I know it I have to update it with odin but how I dont even know if I had MDL bootloader

ok I try your faqs but its not working for me like I said I dont have the MDL bootloader and My S4 it currently running Wicked 7 ... everytime I try to flash the modem Odin said FAIL sooo I dont really know how to update this XD

Ok thanks for the help I really appreciate it but nothing working there Ive read everything and tried to install the mk5 modem from videotron but it PASS with odin but in my information my basebrand dont change I dunno why I just wanna upgrade to wicked 10 with no data drop and all this stuff XD but thanks again
Sorry it's not working for you. It seems like if you had the Canadian 4.3 modem you'd be straight. This is what mine looks like on wicked 10. MDL bootloader. Mk2 modem.

Yes. . Root the phone. Then forgot a thing called spc utility. It worked the same for me.
