Hello GUIse
You probably know the drill by now, I do theme ports by request and today the creator of the GingerReal ROM on the SGS asked me to port his theme his ROM is here. If you look at the screenshots in his thread it looks pretty sweet Features are below. Just a reminder WIP means work in progress, I don't release things half done.
As a side-note
This theme is being ported over onto Litening ROM 1.5 (As this is my current ROM) first, I will add VR1.4 compatibility & other ROMS at peoples request
Features
-Modded WiFi, 3G & Signal images to make them look sharper than AOSP
-Themed TouchWiz launcher
-General AOSP "Feel"
-Stock Overscroll color/effect
-Themed phone.apk/contacts.apk to resemble AOSP
-AOSP Messaging app
-AOSP Clock Application
-CM7 Battery Mod
-Transparent notification bar, with some custom png's
-Included the Ginger Real wallpaper
-Plus much more to come!

I clicked the wrong bookmark which took me to android development instead of themes and apps. This needs moving, know of any moderators around?

I have seen a lot of requests asking for an Ice Cream Sandwich theme so i spent many hours/days researching and gathering what ever icons and apps i would need to achieve this theme. This theme does contain some 3rd party apps such as 360 launcher and the android 4.0 theme with the 4.0 lockscreen for the 360 launcher.I also included GOsms pro with the ICS free theme.

When it initially launches its gonna ask for you to choose a launcher ..for the full effect please select 360 and then go to the 360 menu and go to settings..within the settings you will choose the 4.0 theme and lockscreen. I will be making regular updates to this theme and I am also open to any suggestions.

02/21/12 : updated more icons in framework and changed the SystemUI, also added a themed XDA app hope you enjoy

uploaded a new link to fix the statusbar ..the first file was missing the SystemUI.apk that was causing the statusbar not to show up .
awesome mod, thx for the hard work. a few quick questions though... for some reason my gps symbol is staying white, even though when i pull apart i can find the blue icons for it. also my htc weather is FCing over and over and i cant access to change anything. any ideas on how to fix it??
Hmm not sure about the GPS ..just make sure u wiped delv and cache and that u r using correct rom

np thanks for all the support ..updated with 2 links one with and one without the battery percent for those that dont want it ..i fixed some of the images and added more blue pngs in where i missed ..i still have more to add but gonna work on it today and hopefully later this week release a larger update with possibly more themed apps if you have any ideas or any apps you need done i can theme it and add it .

thank you ..im just getting warmed up ..i have about 10 themes 15 boot animations if not more on sdx-developers , and the mik mik so you will see more just gonna take some time to improve them
Also have to add to change log I added ics animations that I managed to miss the first time lol

no matter what i do i cant get rid of this white gps crosshair. i formatted everything. Had my phone completely blank and all i had on the sd card was the most current affinity rom and this mod. i have no idea what to do to fix it.
Does anyone know of a way to edit the dock bar in the touchwiz launcher? I like the stock launcher but would like to edit it so that I could add 1 or 2 more icons to the dock bar. I know that I can edit how many rows and columns are on the screen but cannot find how to edit the dock bar. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm using the whompasaurus rom which gives the option to have 5x6. Idk if you can find a flashable to enable it on roms that don't have it.

Just pull the launcher from that rom copy to system app make permissions rw-r-r. Reboot and it should work. I myself am using one rom with launcher, contacts , mms, and play store apks all pulled from different roms and have had no problems.

those Weatherwidgets are like clothes, you have to change them from time to time and since from the
functional point of view the stock Accuweather is the best in my opinion, i was moved to make myself couple of
mods which i would like to share with you and anybody who may like them.
1. Stock S4 Widget look
2. Light transparent S4 look with colours and weather features present
3. Very transparent S4 look without colours but weather features present
4. Totally tranparent, little styled and Yahoo Weathericons.
5. Totally tranparent, little styled and Daniel Chitu's Icons
These work on the Stock 4.3 Roms (odex/deodex);
-make a backup
-copy them into your app folder
-change permissions to rw-r--r--
-reboot

Don't work for deodexed or don't work on Note 3 TouchWiz.

how do i install this? please give me the exact steps... as basic as you can please! im in an odexed firmware... and another question , is this really like the ported widget one? (wit the the weather animations..etc)
I usually copy the apk file in system folder, rename, change permissions and then move the file in the app folder....than it works even without reboot, all needed is root and rootexplorer.
The look is as on the pics, the animation is the s3 one.

attached a flashable zip including the Widget 1. S4_orig (odex), if you wish to flash any
other file simply open the flashsable zip file with Winrar or 7zip, pull in the new AccuweatherWidget.apk
and replace the old one. But dont extract, just drag and drop in the new file into Winrar in
the system/app folder
is there any way or possibility for you to mod the 3 weather files? (AccuweatherDeamon.apk, AccuweatherWidget.apk, AccuweatherWidgetMain.apk) Like the S4 weather.... Im talking about the animation in the widget, the settings..etc, There are some Ports with launchers, but i dont like the lanchers, so.. is it possible to just mod the weather widget files and make it like the galaxy note 3 port, or the s4 weather and launcher port? im in odex stock 4.3 jb firmware. It would so nice a flashable zip with that complete mod.

Hej, thats exactly the point. I reverted to moding the s3 widget for myself because i did not like the ported launchers, which FC too often,
and are not optimal for the S3 in my opinion. I can't mod in the animation inside the s3 widget or alteast it apears like it would be easier start the whole thing from scratch. Maybe somebody figures out in some time how to make the ported versions work with the s3 launcher, but i dont
know whats needed to do it at present, neither do i have the time. sorry.
hey can you make on odex a stock s4 widget but in TOTALLY TRANSPARENT? only a white border of widget the rest is totally transparent?

It's possible make an AccuweatherWidget for odex rom with animation like a S4, totally transparent, like third thumb, with 13:56 hours, with clouds!!

Can i ask if you could possibly make the time to make a google now mod. I have a 5x5 TW launcher "I lowered the screen lcd density" that I would love to have launch GN if it could its the only thing i miss using TW. Also could this be modded for 5x6 as well? If you could pm me, more than happy to buy you a beer for your troubles.

Bro, they have all that built into the tw launcher in the dynamic Kat ROM. All grids with or without labels, swipe left for google now or Flipboard briefing. It's an awesome ROM.

Right I'm aware already on a modded rom but I'm looking to have this as a separate file to flash when needed
As the Other person posted ... It would be great to have Google Now instead of FlipBoard ....

Flash Dk ROM, copy tw launcher to sdcard and replace into whatever ROM you want using file explorer

You must be using Touchwiz launcher. Longpress the menu button and choose Launcher Settings. You can't do this if you are using another launcher.
