I like Halo feature in Paranoid Android Roms but i don't like PIE and Hybrid Engine.
How can I get HALO))) feature in official cm10.1 rom? Is it possible to get it by flashable .zip file that I can flash it by recovery?
I want to mention that I don't like Floating notification app in google play.

I doubt there will ever be a flashable zip for cm that enables halo. You'll have to compare the two roms and probably edit some apks and frameworks yourself

Hi, I would like to ask how to get into this rom called PowerMenu mod.
thank you
P.
You're talking about this kind of stuff?
It have to be adapted to the the rom to be flashable like this...
On the same rom as you, I put a shorcut in the notification bar witch open this kind of menu. I've used this app.
Hi, I was just wondering if it would be possible to get the paranoid android colors feature where status and nav bar colors change based on the app you are in on AOKP rom. I know I could use a hybrid rom but that is the one feature that I want outside of AOKP. I did some searching but found nothing. Would I be able to install the paranoid preferences apk or does the feature depend on something in the rom?
i join your question
you cant do this , cause even with PAPref Apk , you need to change framework files which might take away AOKP stuff , your best bet is to use PAC , it uses ParanoidAndroid AOKP and CM , meaning all features of 3 roms is in .

Is there a way I can test what AOKP features would be compromised by editing framework files? Or would it just ruin the whole system framework?
This isn't exactly the same but may be a option to consider.
[MOD][XPOSED][4.0+] XThemeEngine beta5 - Theme engine for any rooted phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240180
Is it possible? status bar at the bottom? some build.prop tweak? I tried the xposed module but it didnt work
Not till date...long process maybe possible...wait for PA rom..that has integrated way to do it.
developers are like gods
It was possible on Pacman ROM by xenon92. It had PA ROM features in it such as tablet and hybrid UI. But then again it's AOSP-based not stock-based...
By the way. I encountered somewhere that Google removed tablet ui after 4.4+.. just saying for info

Is there a way to get theme chooser in SlimKAT. I used it in AICP and was wondering if there was a way to get it.
I tried to extract the APK and install it but it wouldn't install.
Thanks.

Theme chooser has just been implemented into CM11 codes so I don't think you'll start seeing CM11 compatible themes soon

For the substratum theme engine it says in the description not to use it with the 7.1 dev preview.

I themed navbar on 7.1.1 DP with substratum 403 version, no bootloop or errors. If you face bootloop just flash the rescue zip in substratum folder. No harm in trying

That 1 theme did work. Another I tried failed in booting. The rescue zip didn't work either. Had to flash back to 7.0, factory reset, update back to 7.1.1 and now restoring

Try out Pixel ROM.It's really good and I didn't find any bug yet.
The Pixel ROM version 4.0 (the only one that's flashable using TWRP) is cool except the one MAJOR bug... Settings always force closes. I can't setup the Wi-Fi hotspot which my house depends on since it's my WiFi for the house.
