[Q] Helping Unlocking Bootloader

Hello XDA, I've got a rooted Xperia Play running the Xperia NXT ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1649368). I would like to unlock the bootloader and boot into fastboot mode but when I enter *#*#7378423#*#* and check the Bootloader status, I see "Bootloader unlock allowed: No". I've heard there is a way around this, could someone help me? I'd love to install the doom ICS kernel on my phone and a new ROM. Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Phone is AT&T, R800i, and I also know what my IMEI number is

re-lock boot loader problem , update to ICS

sorry , I'm soooooooo nope but I had rooted my device from 6 months , and I forget the method I did
now I want to Update my Arc S to ICS with pc companion , it show me error 2003 that the software could not be updated as It had modified software .
please can you tell me the way to Update to ICS

Is your bootloader unlocked?

I have sim lock branded Xperia Arc S and in service info is bootloader unlock allowed: no ... now i want to unlock my bootloader so i can flash kerlnel .. i downloaded omnis and i will buy this licence http://www.gsmserver.com/shop/gsm/omnius_single_unlock_license_for_sony_ericsson.php
Will i be able to unlock my bootloader and flash kerlners ?

try getting a new unlock code... maybe that might work

i m 4.3 rooted c2004.... i tried to unlock bootloader once and got into bootloop so flashed 4.3 by flashtool.... my sony apps are working so i thought i hav not unlocked it yet and checked status.... it does not say bootloader unlocked allowed yes..it says bootloader unlock yes..i attached d screenshot.. if i try to unlock it again by flashtool it says no loader found... plz help me ..i hate ths stock rom... plzzzzzz...thanks in advance... _/\_

hmmm bro your bootloader is actually on unlocked condition. so now try to more develop your device bro :good:

you sure about this bro..?? because my sony apps are still working fine.. and in my service test tab it shows marlin key is active..i heard from someone that active means that our bl is locked... please help me ..because i dont want to brick my device..!

just believed me, i know about this. if your bootloader still not unlocked.
bootloader status will be like this ...
bootloader unlock allowed : yes
and if your bootloader is succesfully unlocked
bootloader status will be like this...
bootloader unlock : yes

but if your bootloader status like this...
bootloader unlock allowed : no
yoo can't unlock your bootloader permanently , that's all what i know about this
now go advanced
