Anyone have any idea why my home screen button keeps flashing green despite the fact I do not have any notifications ?
I checked all texts, Thru the ATT Message app and the stock text message app.
I have notifications turned off for text on the ATT Messages App.
I got nothing.
I opened the Notification tray, Slid the apps on top around, Closed it.
Now it's not flashing.
Weird.
Happens to me too. Restart gets rid of it for me.

I got this BLN control application on my phone. It works great, but I want it to work when I get a text message too. The reason it doesn't is because when I get a text my phone wakes up. This makes the app think I physically did it myself. I tried turning off the notifications all together but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

So I've had this phone for probably 4 months now, and it's my first Android, and I've started to become very frustrated with the stock messaging app since it has no "back to message list" button in the top left of the current message screen. I understand that I can return to the list using the escape capacitive key but that can often be a pain since if I've accessed an unread message from the lock screen or notification bar the escape key will usually return me to the home screen or the last application I was using. It's very annoying because then I have to go back to the message app again and open another unread message or compose a new one. Is this driving anyone else nuts or is it just me? It seems that every other phone/android os has this button as well as many other apps such as Gmail, Facebook, etc. I've started using my sms as my primary message app since I find this so annoying.
Any thoughts or fixes?

Hello,
an incoming new message shows up as a notification in the notification
drawer. When I am wiping it away I would assume to have marked it as
read. Yet after a while the same notification comes back meaning that
the message was not marked as read.
Is this a bug or can I somehow turn off this "feature"?
Regards
You must open the message for it to clear otherwise the message will still be um unread. I don't know how to mute notifications on android I know you can do it on iOS. Maybe they will add the mute feature in the future.

Thanks. Good to hear that at least it is not a problem of my device or ROM but of WhatsApp.
Having a weird issue with missed call notifications on the G3 - they simply will not go away unless I call the person back. I have tried swiping them away, rebooting the phone, and a few other things - they are like the living dead, just keep coming back and littering the lock screen and notification bar. Any suggestions?
Stop ignoring people and answerrbthr phone?

I'm using an app on the paranoid android ROM. Its a proxy app and every time it connects I get a notification saying "you've been connected". However when that happens it appears on the top of the screen and I can't slide the notification away. I've already tried black listing the app and stop notifications from the android settings menu. But the notifications keep on coming. How can I completely stop all the notifications from that app?
