I am currently working on modifying the "FilePicker.apk" to create a fully functional File Explorer themed like the rest of Sense 5. I know people like Root Explorer and ES File Explorer but nothing would be more seamless than exploring your files and maintaining the stock look and feel. If anybody wants to help out please PM me.

i tried nearly everything and it isnt working too,
maybe i will flash my phone with the newest update and do a hardreset, the problem should be done after that ;-)
but thx thx thx for your help
PS: Does someone know when there will be the first Custom Roms for this Phone because than it would be worth it to wait?
I'm having the same problem as well; accidentally deleted--frankly I don't recall doing it--my stock browser, which is my preferred browser.
Can anyone point me to where I can download it from? Or upload the .apk here? I downloaded the improved deodexed browser from another thread but am not able to install it despite changing the permissions and using root explorer. If I save the browser from Galaxy S, will it be the same?
TIA.

Thanks in advance!

I've got this issue too - I put this two files in the /system/app folder, changed permissions - but it keeps crashing.
Help ?
Can anyone re-up the browser.apk and the other file? Links are offline.
I've searched through the forums and found nothing that like this for the HTC Evo, which was really annoying since I can't seem to locate it in Astor, but it's on my phone, but I can' extract the .apk file. How can I locate it to create my own theme?

It is on your phone...data/app or system/app not sure...otherwise download the template from the theme chooser thread.
And you'll need Root Explorer to get the apk, I'm pretty sure it's in /system/app.
If you don't have and don't want to pay for Root Explorer - which I recommend because it's a great app - there are free alternatives. ES File Explorer has root capabilities, but I think you have to enable it in the app's settings.

See attached files below. Don't forget the thanks button.
Thanks everyone, I appreciate the help. It was found under the ClockWork file through a lot of digging, but I did manage to find my Androidian.apk and cyanbread.apk. Again, much appreciated folks, the help was much needed.
Not quite sure what deodexed means.... sorry for being such a noob.
No. deodexed from my understanding means that the apks and other files are "organized" so to speak. root means that you have superuser access so you can edit and change files and storage locations you normally would nit have access to. I know this all can be a bit overwhelming to start off with! And I am by no means an expert!

Thank you both. I appreciate the help!
deodexed: APK have all their application packages put back together in one place, allowing for easy modification such as theming.
So before themeing it is essential to take a backup.
SystemUI.apk if using deodexed rom or SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex if using odexed.
Odexed systems are compressed and a bit less customizable than deodexed.
Now if you wanna know that your system is deodexed or not:
If you have root access, via Root Explorer or another root worthy file manager, to /system/app you can look at the file extensions and see ".apk" and ".odex" on devices which are "odexed."
CM File manager [Universal] Download is right Here!!!
Sorry about that forgot put link up, enjoy.
Where is the link?

Just an FYI OP you didn't post a link (i don't know if you meant to or not)
For anyone wishing to accomplish this yourselves, download the newest nightly build of CM, pull the apk from /system/app, and install it.

They don't have to. If anyone feels like they have to do this, they should probably know how to open a zip file, and since CM packages it's releases in zips, Windows, Mac, and Linux can open them natively, or they could use any manner of zip utility like 7Zip, WinZip, WinRAR, or even an Android one like AndroZip, if they wanted to do it right on their phone.
Another good resource is the DIY Aroma installer, (search, don't have a link handy) which you can use to build a flashable zip of any apk(s) you want.

Of late,in many development threads
expectations from devs is that users are to do certain things on their own.
That is alright if users know what to do.But what about those who do not and who are not tech savy.Like me.
I was told to send my system ui to the dev.Huh?What?Where do I find it?
Tried googling.Have anyone tried google lately.Smuck.You ask a question and you get answers not related to your question.
This was my actual question:
"Where does one find system ui in android mobile device and what app to use"
Try google with this actual words and you will see what I mean.
Then there was another smart alec,he really was,who told me to add certain things in the drawable-hdpi.
Now,this is my predicament. You guys, those like me would understand what I'm getting at and to those who know the technical knowhow would find this either annoying or amusing.

I could learn on my own.
SystemUI.apk is a file located at /system/app folder, at your phone's root. You need to, root your phone if you haven't, get a file explorer with root permissions, set the /system/ permissions to read-and-write, copy the systemui.apk from system/app and then paste it on your sd card.
As for the drawable, it's a folder inside systemUI.apk, you must decompile it first to see it. Now, what you'll google is How to decompile an apk, there's also a tutorial here on xda that every dev uses or used.
Best regards, P
Found it.Heaps of thanks mate.
So to decompile I would have to use the apktool.Right.Can I do it on my device or do I have to use the PC.?

You must do it on a PC, then when you're finished, recompile and sign it. Search for apk signing aswell~
