OK, here is the situation. I have a favorite contacts widget on one of my screens. And naturally, the contacts have picture associated with them. Here is the funny bug, if for whatever reason, the home screen needs to refresh, all the pictures on the widget get pixelated, and I have to go back and reset the pictures manually. I thought this was a bug in the ROM I had (Stock rooted), so i tried some other ROMs(Ava and now Myn), and same thing happens. This is not so much a problem as it is annoying.
Thanks in advanced and sorry if this question has already been asked and answered.
So? No one else has this problem then? :-(

Actually, that's the one I use too. Just pixelates all my contacts pictures upon any home refresh.

Hi -- I'm seeing a bug with the CNN app. Tapping the CNN app's widget is supposed to open up the app itself. This works the first free times that I tap on the widget, but after a few hours, tapping on the widget doesn't do anything. (However, if I delete the widget and put it back again, everything works fine for another few hours.) Is anyone else seeing this with ICS / Galaxy Nexus?
Thanks, Alan
Lol CNN.

Everything else on the phone works fine, but the Facebook app crashes multiple times a day.
I have to go to the home screen and then recent apps and swipe it away to get it working again. Sometimes even that doesn't work, and I have to go to the task manager and end the task before it'll work. Any ideas why?

its application's fault, not your note 2.... official facebook app has been known to crash very frequently
One of the more stable versions is 2.0, I use that but to be honest I in some ways prefer the website alternative. Bookmark the Facebook site in your browser, add a shortcut to this on your home screen and it's a somewhat better way to use Facebook. I was getting annoyed with it being so slow and running in the background so much. Each to their own though!

I don't know where this comes from because it works pretty much ok in my experience.

Is anyone else having problems installing Facebook home on their phone, because everyone says that you can install it on the galaxy note 2, but its not working on mine it says my phone isn't supported?
I'm having the same problem. Thought it was cos I have an N7105 not N7100 but I'm not sure.
Make sure you have updated Facebook app.
Then in the Facebook app, go to settings and check "enable Facebook home"
I tried it for a couple of hours then uninstalled it.
But when I installed it the first time, I made my Nova launcher the default launcher.
That left the facebook home only as a lock screen and nothing else.
I think that as a simple lock screen it works better

Weird,. I just made sure both Facebook app and Facebook messenger were latest version and then straight install. No problems at all.

For some reason my xda forum app keeps getting uninstalled. I have it in a folder on my home screen, and it's still there but when I click it it opens the play store with the option to install.
Possibly related, my yahoo account keeps getting dropped. I don't get any email and when I open yahoo it makes me login again. And there's tons of email.
Another odd bug I've noticed is the first word swipe typing is usually way off and always a much smaller word the word I wad going for? God I hate not having root
Any info is appreciated
No one else has had any of these problems or knows how to fix them? Bump
Some how it got installed to sd instead of device. I moved it to the device. Hopefully that fixes it
