These are official carrier shipments. They are not necessary the latest in general, but latest for that particular carrier. The decide which version to release...

This one doesn't seem to be provider or region specific.

Has to be... HTC makes these for carriers. They all have CID checks...

Hi,
I had a look and i couldn't find it. But what if you go back to the previous version of this rom and then wait for the OTA? Shouldn't be a problem with stock CID. Otherwise just have look here Stock + RUU.

You can radio s-off your Desire HD, and the CID will be unlocked, then you can make any 1.84 RUU work on your device.

Update available for Middle East

The update with sense 4.1 is now available for Egypt, so I guess it should be available for all Arabic speaking middle eastern countries.

It's useless without S-OFF as you can't manually flash it

Any idea on where i can find the RUU for this please ?

you cannot undo your unlocking bootloader via RUU - for your warranty stuff. Take the 1.28 RUU and then after you install that you can do a OTA update to latest version

I know they can still find out if it was unlocked, but I want to relock it either way as that is whats recommended. Anyways, I found a work through. You'll understand my problem and how I fixed it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859714&page=3

You won't find a changelog for the RUU. As far as I know, HTC doesn't release one.
Also I don't think you'll be able to tell the difference yourself. Usually updates cover minor system changes and not something in the UI (although sometimes they do).

mate can you check your cid and post it here? there is an app called cid getter on play store.. i think that your cid is not HTC_038 .

Definitely not HTC__038 as he received x.xx.401.x (EU version)
The Indian one HTC__038 should be x.xx.720.x

So the title : Breaking news for Indians : now hTc one x is receiving 4.2.2 ota update.. is wrong as you don't have an Indian CID device. Your location doesn't matter, CID is. And CID for Indian device is HTC__038

I bought my phone in India and Cid hTc_ y13 is respresent from Where ??

Can't S-off my Device

I have hboot 1.72
Bootloader unlocked by htc.dev
Have cmw
And cm 10.1.3
Want to flash viper rom, but it fails all the time.. So i think i need to s-off and make super cid.
The s-off fails all the time, tryed disabling the av and reboot my pc, disabling the firewall.. Still no luck..
What can i do?

currently, there is no known way to s-off htc one x. so even if you find a method on some website, it wouldnt work.
btw if you do not have the international tegra version then i think s-off is available for you. but in that case, you are in the wrong device thread

For this you need a htc signed java card. I don't think you can find one for sale.
