I was looking for this feature since I use a dock station where our wonder is upside down. Having the lockscreen not rotating was really annoying.
How to solve?
Add this line :
lockscreen.rot_override=true
In system/build.prop
Reboot.
Maybe you have also to enable 180 degree rotation in setting.

Lux free version works really well also. After taking the time to lock screen brightness to ambient brightness, auto brightness scales exactly the way I want now.

For anyone using the paid version of invisibright (which gives homescreen shortcuts) and Go Launcher, the latest update of GL allows for a double tap on screen (in the gestures settings). So if you're like me and already have the other gestures allocated to other stuff, you can now set up the double tap to shortcut and pick invisibright touch mode (or tilt mode) . Works like a charm

A pity sgs2 Don't have search button for activate more easily but is a very good app.
I am using gin2jellybean i very happy with it... However the default launcher auto rotates.. And when in landscape orientation there are is a bug in the homescreen.. Now i am wondering is there a way to lock the launcher in portrait mode with a line of code in the build.prop.. I not want to have a different launcher or an external app so thats i hope to code the buils.prop if possible
Go to portrait mode then turn off auto rotate

Wide screen is usually good for video playing but it is too wiiiiide for web browsing, especially in landscape mode.
Statusbar - only black bar in landscape mode - is really annoying. My 5-inch big screen is almost nothing left for web page when I open screen keyboard and auto-correct in landscape mode.
It's time to remove statusbar TEMPORARILILY.
Please give me any tip or guide.

Yes, try rotation control. Its in the market. It allows you to use force rotate on home and lock screens. Its a trial app, try it for free. I liked it enough to buy the license.
