[APP] S-Voice.apk from Galaxy S3

If anyone is interested, here's the original thread.
Root and ICS is required.
1. Unrar the file and copy the apk file
2. Copy to system/app folder
3. Change permission to rw-r-r
restart phone.
What does this do ?

S Voice
Why not get a response from your phone? Tell it to wake up!
Even better, you can tell Samsung GALAXY S III to turn off
the alarm for a few minutes and let yourself sleep a bit more.
Answer your phone (or reject a call), turn your music up
(or down), and even tell the camera when to shoot.
source: www.samsung.com
It's like Siri at iPhone, but much better
I'm just a bit of time messing around with the app. It doesn't work all the commands and some commands ends in a force close ^^

Just edit build.prop
You can change the following :
Ro.product.device=GT-i9300
Ro.product.model=GT-i9300
Your device will become SGS3

and im trying to extract the samsung voice from Galaxy S Advance GT-i9070 running on Gingerbread 2.3.6 without any face recog stuff
and the samsung voice from Samsung Galaxy Voice might work on other gingerbread model and i want to share it

[Q] How to wake my Nexus by Volume keys ?

Hello, How can I make my phone wakes up by the volume keys ? I'm nooby so if anyone explain in amore simple way would be great !
I don't think the stock Rom supports volume key wake. You will have to look into flashing a custom rom , like CM10 or any of the other alternatives, to get that feature.

Flash CM10-M2
http://get.cm/?device=maguro&type=snapshot
Stable and supports this feature without installing anything.
Wrong section..you have to ask in Q&A section..
Is so easy..even stock rom can do it..
Setting-security-screen lock-none
To turn screen off your phone..download screen off app from playstore

If all else fails , make a fold on your SD-Card named ``Ringtones`` and copy some loud stuff there . Then when you select the ringtone it should be there
I know flasht my gio again with cm7.2 from marcin
Sound of all the notifactions R loud enough for me to here on my work now.
The only thing that does not work is the stk app.
It is there but it does nothing @ all. Maby someone know how to get it working????

Yep same here, from HTC to Sony, just adjusts my volume, not as handy as forward and back of tracks.
Having come from the LG Optimus 2X with CM, I'd really like this too

IF THINGS GO HORRIBLY WRONG ..
1. DON'T PANIC
2. RESTORE USING YOUR CWM OR TWRP BACKUP !

1. BACKUP - BACKUP - BACKUP
For God's Sake .. Do a CWM OR TWRP - BACKUP FIRST!

Great idea and nice work
Mine doesn't sound like a normal tone, more like a beep. Is this normal?
This is fantastic thank you! Would it be possible to edit and switch out all other water droplet effects? I find it rather annoying. As well as the lockscreen on/off tones. I'd like to completely rid those though
