My girlfriends phone lasted for 2 days ang 6 hours on stock rom without any tweaks like SuperCharger. Phone activity is texting, games, browsing using data network and music. So it shows that SGY can go for 48hours. My bad i just forgot to have a SS on it to show it to you.

I downclocked the cpu to 528 and min to 312. using setcpu

yea downclock possible but only on stock roms. why? not compatible with scripts and he says he downclocked it to 500 something mhz. but since doesnt have a kernel customed, it was only down to 312. tried it a thousand times. i got a CPU checker. overclock it to 1000mhz still have 832. so downclocking would still fall to default 312mhz. so till now u can do so as the author said but better for stock only. it will crash most of your apps on custom rom (so far i tried it on stock and creeds)

Yes it is possible... Use SetCPU to do that... Unfortunatly it needs Root Access... Gud Luck...

Mine only last for 20 hours at least, but after installing HYBRID rom the duration had increased substantially.

Guys, how long does your fully charged battery last on continuous internet 2g / 3g access?

in my phone, it lasted for about half a day only. how about the others.

i flashed my wave s8500 with turbo cfw v8 and guess wat phone works!!!but the display is blank and doesn't display anything....help!!!!phone calling and touch works but i am not able to view anything!!!!help where have i gone wrong!

Use Original Firmware for your S8500... I mean exact for your country/operator... exact this firmware you used before and S8500 was alive.
Check if Display is black also...
Display Driver are in Bootloader... so maybe your device is not compatible...
I have this phenomenon with M210S Firmware on S8530...
Wave alive but Screen is black...

try downloading firmwares have over 300 MB / 200 MB

You tried including BOOTFILES?

This is my 1st post to Xda i have bought new Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 issue with my phone is that when i try to play any HD game just after loading game crashes and i return to Main Menu plz help me out i am newbie....

Update your grand to android 4.2.2 in that many hd games are running without any lag and good graphics

Dude, I had u problem long time ago, u know till I believed that my phone didn't support HD games, but the thing is to be that I most of the time didn't follow the instructions for example some games says install apk then place the data on a specific folder, so I put the data and installed, then had a crash. . Anyway, as exactly as Mukeshc told u, u have to update to 4.2.2 but there's something, when u are in 4.1.2 u can copy an obb file from ur PC to ur sd card normally using the usb, but on 4.2.2 u can't do that, u have to use for example ES file explorer or do as I do, I copy the obb folder to my external sd then COPY "not move" it to sd/android/obb ... hope it helped, as am newbie as u

Are u rooted??
If yes then install any custom rom u like and then try installing the game.
If no, try installing the data n apk from same website.
And also I think its because of too much ram usage

And as I said, I think it's because of too much ram usage
