Reduce normal phone sound. Technically, just press the volume down button while you're on your homescreen.

Alright, so, I noticed at one point that the dialer volume was really low, and I didn't mind it one bit...because I was looking for a way to get it to lower. Now it's back to normal...and I'm back to finding a way, has anyone else experienced their dialer volume being different at times? What did you do before or after the change?
When I installed SWITCHPRO...it lets you go into the info secion (free one even) and then click on the volume icon and the you can change the system volumes here. That's how I do it....

Uhm...wouldn't that just increase/decrease the ringer volume? I understood that he wanted to change the sound of the system clicks/beeps/sounds.

Download audio manager from the market then adjust system volume

Right I know there are tools for this, but I did it without any tools at all...I'm pretty sure it wasn't coming out of the speaker on the back...but softly out of the ear piece.
Hi all guys ..
I have a little problem with infinity virtuous 1.35 beta1.
I sometimes happens that the volume goes down alone.
I pressing on the volume keys and set the volume to maximum and also controlling in audio settings the volume is set to maximum.
But with the values to the maximum the phone feels low....
ex: when people call me, when I get a message WhatsApp etc. ... the volum is very low
does anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks in advance

The workaround is to use a volume boosting app like volume+ it works really well.

I try it.. Thanks
I've looked everywhere for an answer to this problem so please don't flame me. :fingers-crossed: I am new!
I flashed AOKP's jellybean ROM for AT&T last night and ever since then my speakerphone volume is really low. It's almost the same volume as the regular speaker. I can't hardly tell the difference between when it's on speakerphone and not.
Not sure what to do! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I am running AOKP as well, although i haven't yet used my speakerphone, when my volume is up my notifications can be deafening at times...especially high pitched squeals and the like. Try going into the settings>rom control>sound menu and enable the volume panel. This enables you to selectively adjust the volumes for each sound group (for lack of a better word). This is similar to the stock sound menu with greater control. With this enabled when you adjust your sound using the rocker buttons you will see a mixer icon on the right, press that to open the volume panel and try adjusting the sounds that way. I've found the best setup for me is to crank up the phone volume, and then put the notification and music levels somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 full. Its worth mentioning i also have my volume levels linked so that they all scale up and down together, this way my phone volume isn't all the way down while the notifications remain loud for example. This setting is found in the settings>sound menu.
I enabled that and it was turned all the way up. But I turned it down and then turned it back up and now it works great. Thank you so much!

i am not here much as i am not a super programer but is there any way to make one volume that adjusts all volumes on the note 2. my previous androids had a selection that let me combine all my volumes. It just seems to be a pain in the ass to keep having to open my volume controls and adjust each one seperately everytime i go into a meeting or movie or whatever. I know this seems stupid but any help would be awesome
i don't think it's possible because they are multi file inside the rom for each volume
this is my opinion so..............i'm not 100% this is the best answer

It is assumed that the volume buttons perform this function? At least for me when using the volume down button, you reduce the overall volume for notifications, media, ringer, etc.
However, maybe I misunderstood his request.
