Does anyone know if it's possible to get a Galaxy S4 stock keyboard for CyanogenMod.
I love the stock keyboard in CyanogenMod but I like the idea of numbers above the top row of the keyboard.

same for me!
Well I've looked into this problem and I have learnt that it's not possible because CyanogenMod does not contain the same framework as the Samsung Roms. It looks like you either run a Samsung Rom or buy a keyboard app that can be styled and modified to look like the Samsung Keyboard.

Does anyone know if the samsung keyboard fir the vibrant has been ported over to the g2.
I really like that keyboard and would like to try it on my G2.
I like the one from the droid x also. Wouldn't mind if we could take the .apk and mod it to our phones.

That kind of information is a against the xda rules. I'd recommend you edit before a mod sees it. Warez rules.
speaking of keyboards...can u change the sound of the keyboard?
thanks for the information, i downloaded the keyboard and love it.

SwiftKey X? SlideIT Keyboard? Smart Keyboard PRO? Stock? Curious as to which one is best and what the pros and cons are.

used to use smart keyboard pro on the thunderbolt, tried using it here but the stock ICS keyboard is just too good

I think there is the option to try them yourself. It's a very personal preference type of subject.

Stock keyboard for me as well. I had SwiftKey X previously, but just can't bring myself to replace stock at the moment on the Galaxy Nexus.
SwiftKey x until google fixes the landscape lag issue. I like stock a lot but the lagginess drives me up the wall.

i'm running on stock. i do miss swype though.
Stock in landscape mode with 2 thumbs.
Stock with auto correction turned up to very aggressive.. very amazing
Swype! Love it.

Swype, and loving it, wonder when the ics version will be out

I use Swiftkey. Can't get use to stock. I think I prefer entering numbers on swift-key X a lot more.
Using slideIT although there's a little bug where the shift key is not reacting and you have to activate -> deactivate the numblock to make it react again.

Custom ROM? or.....how are you using Skype? This is the first phone I've been interested in trying it on and no ICS compatibility. Do the old .APKs work?
SlideIT. Got it for $0.10. I missed swype. It has a good keyboard whether you use the slide feature or not.
Modded Swype.

Hi guys, does anyome know of any MIUI roms where the themes work fully on GNEX? For example the white and orange themes is cvahnged as well as the icons. I have tried loads of themes and none seem to do this. I know that its hard because of the GNEX screen size but still... Any ideas anyone? cheers
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
Its probably that the themes are meant for the older versions of MIUI if I had to guess.
Everything is changed. New SMS. New most of the things. That's why some don't apply.

Its a pity MIUI on Galaxy S worked so well. I guess thats the price we pay for having such a hi res screen.

Depends on which native toggles the stock ones are mainly shortcuts. But the rooted modified version one is quite nice! especially the one that was merged with CM as of yesterday
I agree,
That is the only thing I miss from TouchWiz
Could someone give the best looking ones ?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Regular AOSP style is best looking.
I have searched many times in xda but i didnt find any tablet (like) rom for galaxy note 2..in which setting, contact, music etc didplayed like tablet view.
Whereas in note 1 section i found one rom called mimi tab which had some capabilities of tablet but that one is only for note 1..but for note 2 i didnt find such rom...
Because note 2 has bigger display and it can be used for tablet like interface ..but here no one seems so intrested to make that type rom
If any one knows that type rom for note 2 gsm, please inform me
[email protected]: please if someone like my idea or they kno how to make it.. please try to make tablet like interface rom:thumbup:

You could always use the xposed framework and set apps to a different resolution and dpi. I changed gmail to a lower dpi and it's now in tablet mode.

Any Other Suggestion??
Thanks, but any other suggestion???
Any other ROM or Mod Which work with samsung base??? not CM or AOSP..in which Native video call, NAtive touchwiz and other things are missing. I am searching a rom in which everything stock with tablet mod. In Note 1 section there are many that kind of rom but being bigger screen and advance device note II has no tablet like roms..if anyone knows that kind of rom or mod please Help me!:highfive:
Your options are either Paranoid Android or a stock rom with xposed framework with Xposedappsettings so you can change dpi and switch to tablet mode for the apps you want.
This kind of rom>>

Hmmm I see you want tw + tablet mode.
For that I think you can only use build.prop tweaks.
I think jellybam was 4.1.2 though aosp.

You can use this Tablet UI feature with Custom Launchers like Apex or Go Launcher. I am using Apex with Tablet UI. This works on any ROM.
