Guys,
I flashed this ROM made by K2WL in my Brazilian i9082L. Instead of showing both network signals, It shows two crossed circles. When I try to make a call it says that I have to turn off the airplane mode, but when I click to turn off, it shows again that I have to turn off and again...
For my surprise just received one call now. I guess it has no signal.
Can someone help?
Thanks!

Got my sgs3 Sunday and when I got home turned on WiFi and started playing with it I notice that I lose network for a second after about 15 mins and my WiFi icon on the status bar disappear but network comes back on .. but in settings it is greyed out and I can't turn it off then back on till I reboot 0_o...thought maybe after I rooted and flash AOKP it would be fixed but no! I'm on T-Mobile and AOKP..so is it a bad WiFi driver or...? Any ideas?
#*0011# press the menu key. Select wifi. uncheck wifi power saver mode. Its should be green when on black off. Make sure its not on and done go back to home screen. Your phone should reboot the wifi driver and your done.
This method works for 4.0.4 any of the roms. Cm10 doesn't work. Cm9 haven't tried but I'm sure it'll work for u.
Hit the thanks if I've helped!

JB has these wifi issues I was expiriencing the same problems on cm10 as well. (I know not the same but both are jb) I decided to downgrade to the intrigue rom r3. It has smooth transitions. Real buttery and it let me access the wifi power saver mode by down ng the method above. I'll look into aokp and see if I can find a fix for u.

For anyone who has already turned off WiFi PSM, is anyone experiencing this setting turning itself back on? I have turned it off twice today and every so often it turns back on which ends up turning my WiFi back off...

Question: are you rebooting your phone when this happens?
Cuz if you are that's normal on every reboot you have to go back and turn it off again.

I was not rebooting the phone. I am currently trying a different rom to see if that solves anything.
Weird

Well it still keeps happening. I switched from intrigue rom to freegs3. I'm currently using the phone at work and it happened right before my eyes while using Tapatalk... I had to turn off power saver mode yet again

would the method above work for me? since yesterday, my wifi kept turning on by itself. After I turned the wifi off for like a couple minutes then it'll turn on automatically again. I have the Keep Wifi on during sleep set as "only when plugged in" and it never happen to be before until yesterday. My power saving in the setting menu has always been off too. Please help! :crying::crying:
Install the app called "Wifi Fixer" app to the solve the issue.
Whatever Google did to cause a variety of wakelock problems, having a strong wifi signal seems to solve them. Apparently, wakelocks occur when there are unreliable connections to Google's servers.

I installed CM10.1 yesterday on my T989. I updated it this morning with the newer version of CM10.1. So today I was at work, I was listening to some music and in the process of sending a text, my phone shuts off. I attempted to turn it on, it said "Samsung," and goes into a vibration loop, nothing loads. Then I tried to go into Odin and go into download mode, and it shows the download mode screen, then shuts off. I am running out of ideas. Hopefully you guys can help, Thank you!

I don't get data while on calls, iIs it me only? I'm using Wicked's modified MDL rom. Might have to go back to stock to test this out.
Sometimes I do but only for like the first 5 minutes of a call then it cuts off. Im stock non rooted.

I'm not 100% sure but from what I have read somewhere the data shuts off to save battery when on call if your data was idled for some time.. If you were using data before the call the data stays on during the call but will eventually turn off if the data has been idled for some period of time..

Ok, I'll try this out later when I have someone to talk to. This is weird because I don't remember having this issue with my returned AT&T S4.
Hmmm...my best guess would be that it is the ROM. However, do try out the power saving mode "off" and let us know if that works. :fingers-crossed:

Weird, it works now. I tried with Power Saving on & off and was able to watch YT videos & surf the web but wasn't able to last night. Maybe I didn't have all the services since I'm a new customer & ported my # over from AT&T last night.

The first issue sounds like a hardware problem, were you able to hear when making or receiving calls before you flashed CM 10.1?
For the second issue, what carrier are you using?
Thanks for helping me, I was able to hear before installing CM
And the 2nd issue is already fixed

Did you make a back up of your set up when the speaker worked last? If so flash back to that back up and see if it works to rule out hardware issues.
No I didn't , I'm thinking about going back to stock and see if it works, and then try to update using some other room
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda app-developers app
That would be my suggestion.
If the earpiece doesn't work on stock, I would take it to Sprint or who ever your carrier is.

I have a grand duis GT-I9082 running on Andriod 4.1.2 I will post an image down for my system info. It was running great signal works perfectly even if I restarted the phone the signal will appear fast. One day the phone fall on the ground but it didn't harm it really everything was working perfectly but then, I decided to do a factory rest then root it. After I wiped the data and fac rested it, the no signal/service icon appeared the signal appears sometimes after 1-2-3 or even 10 hours! If I restarted the phone again same problem no service problem and signal appears later.
If someone saying it's my IEMI, it's there I didn't list it..Need help please View attachment 2564573
