Hey xda. I am new to this but I want feedback from you guys on what's the best touch wiz ROM out as of now. I'm rocking the wicked v4 and I think its the best touch wiz ROM by far. It still lags but what tw ROM doesn't. thanks ???

Flash all of them and see whch does not lag for you...also settings play a role and apps you have install....

running MikG v.3.11/ ICS themed with the badass Underworld kernel.
Probably 75% of the people in this forum are running AOSP instead of Sense.
I prefer senseless over aosp. What is the base?

The base is Stock Swag and it includes the stock gingerbread launcher with SMS instead of browser. I could make an Xperia version including the Sony Sound tweaks and launcher.

As long as you can invert the pull down menu to black with 15% transparency I'm game. I use adw so launcher doesn't matter cause it will be removed

It runs VERY smooth and battery life is amazing, skype should work as it's a stock rom.

Hi I am planning to add some apps on multiscreen so I need a deodexed rom.

Can someone point me to a deodedexed working rom as original as possible ?

wanamlite is also close to stock. multiwindows is the reason i switched to it ^^ and he always keeps updates coming. at least he did so with galaxy s2 so i dont think he'll drop the project at some stage (even though it could happen ofc)

Thanks for the advise, but the reason i want a stock deodexed rom is because i want to keep Spen features (i'm not sure of the word: i'm french :s) and to be able to install multwindows apps !

Hi, I will get my Note 2 in the next days and before I get it I'm reading a lot about how to flash ROMs, I've always had Motorola phones so Samsung flashing is a completely new world for me. I've read that if you flash an AOSP based ROM you will lose all the S-Pen apps and stuff, obviously I will test all those apps before I flash, but I really don't like the TouchWiz interface so in the near future I will change it to AOSP, is there a way to install all those S-Pen/Samsung apps in a fresh AOSP ROM?

No. But you can download papyrus from the play store. Its a note taking app. Its mentioned tons of times in tons of posts that spen apps will not work or be in aosp ROMs because they are touch wiz based.

Thank you! I Will try that app when I get the phone.
You can also stay on a tw rom and just use a different launcher. Then you are not stuck with the tw interface, but can still use the s pen apps

That's completely up to the USER!!
But you can find a Rom of your choice, then there's plenty of mods that you can add. To get that AOSP looks...

If you search around on XDA, you'll find that it had been done before but for this phone - see the above post.
If you find someone that accomplished it for another phone with TW, ask then what they did and post it here. Maybe someone around here will be nice enough to do it for this phone.
