I use the xposed frame work and app settings... works great... thing is I have tons of apps and it's a pain trying to mess with the settings to get it just right for every app. I've noticed that when available, tablet versions of apps look so much better... I can't stand how some of the apps install with low res and are stretched... the icons and such are grainy and they are huge!! I didn't get a bigger screened phone because I'm blind, I got one because I like the added space and resolution (that doesn't exist with low/reg res apps).
So here's my question... is there a way to get tablet only apps installed on this phone so that I don't have to change the app settings? I guess what I'm asking is if there is a way to make it so that google play store thinks I have a tablet and shows compatible apps w/ higher resolution? I read that you can change the build.prop file or install an app called "market helper app" (See:How to geek dot com, "The Ultimate Guide to Installing Incompatible Android Apps from Google Play" [sorry, cant post the link yet due to newbie status]) but I haven't tried it yet... I just wanted to poll the community to see if there's something better or what.
btw, I love this phone... FARRRRR better than my iphone 4s that I gave my gf to get this phone... so much more powerful, and the screen is amazing... I look at her 4s likes its a POS now lol... :laugh:
I wish the XBackground module would work on our phone. I like having a custom image on the notification panel.

Added 4 apps, feels very smooth. Added custom background, it works but the background is not scrollable and looks weird (narrower).
I suppose it is made for 480x800 walls?
Where is the app? available on market??

Just write "gravity" in android market and you will see the lite (free) version on the top of the list.
If there is someone that can not find it i will upload here to the forum.

I'd love to give this a shot, but am not thrilled about needing to decompile/recompile. Hopefully at some point someone will create a flashable mod.

Wow, this is amazing! Working for me on stock rooted 4.0.2. Now we need an ICS Button Savior theme This has been something ive been looking for since day one. Feels good to make use of the full screen.
Also dont forget to backup your stock framework-res.apk. I did it all with root explorer.

Its a little strange, but im going to keep using it for a while and see how it goes.

yes, just push them into the system (I think they work both ways) as it makes them more stable.

Thanks for these. I like the launcher but the music app is really sick. It has lots of Asian music in it, and a lot of them sound amazing especially with the ViPER4Android Mod. Luckily most of the app is in English.

I think it will work as it is taken from a 4.2.2 ROM and the difference is very small. Just push it to system if it doesn't work write it here so people will know

There is an area in settings that you can press whether you want the app listening all the time or just when the screen is on. The feature for listening all the time is still in beta. I haven't had much time to test out whether it effects battery life or not though.

Are you using open mic+ or you using the touchless control apk? If your using the apk it wont work someone has to port it.

Before using Google's new Messenger I did try Textra. It is good, but there are some things I don't like; I think google's Messenger is better.
Yeah, I too like the new Messenger app, albeit it's not open source. We could improve it even further.
