BBC Olympics App APK

Has anyone been able to install the new BBC Olympics app in the US? The market won't allow me to download it because it hasn't been released in the US, but I figure I could side load it if someone could get a hold of the apk...

It's listed in the Australian market, but it won't let me download it saying my device is incompatible. I think it's because I'm running a Jelly Bean ROM. Is someone please able to provide the apk?

Gutted this app isn't supported on Jelly Bean. Hopefully someone can get a working version for the UK and maybe the rest of the world! Come on devs, work your magic

Me too. I'm writing to Point of View to give them some hassle.

Awesomesauce. The really strange thing is that while the Play Store won't even let you install the app if you're in the US, the app itself appears to be geographically aware -- I see a front page section called "Team USA". I can't imagine that's hard coded.

I'm in the UK and want to sideload this on my gnex, anyone have the apk still? Link has gone in the other post now

It's gone because it is considered warez. No more discussion on this is allowed.

Hi all,
Just wondering if there were any users that could post the MyVodafone app apk. For some reason, it says that it is incompatible with my device in the Play Store. I have found the Australian version online but can't find the UK one.

I used apk backup to get the app, sent it to my nexus, but only the wifi map worked, so uninstalled it.

May be me being dumb (so pls excuse me) but why would you want Vodafone app on your N7? what does the app do? I'm not sure I even have this on my Vodafone SGS3

As the n7 is not a phone and does not have 3g, My Vodafone (an app that needs 3g to be running the first time you use it, so that it can get your SIM details and account information) is logically incompatible. Even if you sideload the apk it most likely will not give you any really useful information.

I installed it on my Nexus 7 solely for the wi-fi hotspot map so that I can use the free BT Openzone minutes from my mobile provider on my tablet. I don't have a smartphone. It works fine, thank you WinDroidGuy

Thank you for sharing thee apk. The same problem has driven me nuts for the last two years (even tried downloading while in the states). Any chance you have the tablet apk as well?

Thank you very much for the e-trade download but as soon as I installed it, it required me to update to the new version which of course I could not do because even though I live in the United States, my Canadian phone seems to prevent installing from the Play Store. I ordered mine. I may cancel it, I'm not sure. Just wanted to get it ordered in case they did sell out real fast. I got mine through samsung.com, but they're up for pre-order on Amazon and Best Buy. They don't seem to be as exclusive as past special editions.

I'm not trying to downplay your contribution at all. I think its awesome that you were able to provide this.
BUT, I'm interested in the HARDWARE. A themed ROM doesn't get me the black with red accents, the red SPEN, the special edition Galaxy Buds, etc. That's why I said I'm talking about the device itself. Matter of fact, I'll probably switch the them when I get it back to the stock Note10+ theme.

If you are on 9750 variant of the Note 10+. The files here won't flash in Odin. it will fail. But, with that being said. If you search online. there is a newer firmware for the 9750 variant that has this theme implemented into it. firmware ending in SKA. I know because I have the 9750 variant and flashed the SKA firmware yesterday and it has the dark side theme. .....

I ordered but it says expected delivery dec 20th. I called because a preorder should be delivered by release date. They seem to fail to understand so I will cancel if it doesn't ship by Wednesday. Like said before preorders are still available so it doesn't seem so limited

You won't find it on Sam mobile either. It's not there. Let me upload it. And I will let you know once it is and share the link. Okay. But.......I did manage to pull the theme apk. You can install it and it works but only as a trial version. If you are familiar with any of Bobcats themes. Then you can make this work. Just find his thread and follow his instructions on how to make the theme work on pie. And you will be good. If the Dark Side apk theme is sufficient enough.
