[Q] Domination ROM - Battery Percentage - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I'm running the Domination ROM from here and I'm wondering if there is a mod that displays the battery power as a percentage in the status bar. Currently I've found this app which is a good substitue but not quite what I want. Please do not recommend the mod which requires a PC as I don't have one. Many thanks!

you can enable the battery percentage from setting > system
btw is the rom works good with you? recommend it ?

There is no system option in settings. I've only just installed the mod but it's working fine so far. The audio isn't distorted like it was with CyanogenMod 10.

[REQ] percentage battery icon

Hi guys,
had this on my desire and miss it on the sgs, so does anyone know a way to get a percentage battery icon for the sgs?
thanks
try Battery indicator.. its a free app.. been using it since quite sometime..
I use Gauge Battery Widget.Free from the market. There is a donate version.I think you need it if you want to change the widget colours
From my Galaxy S loonie-phone
i use batterystatus pro. free from market
Think Soulcrash is meaning a battery percentage mod that replaces the stock battery icon in the notification bar.

i doubt whether such an app exists! if it does then even im interested in it! but the battery indicator app that i was suggesting also comes in the status bar on the top left and not as a widget.. so it wont take any screen space!

Totally does not suck, using the C version myself.
Using version B on JM5, with Hackeclair and one click lag fix v1.
Looks good, and no problems so far.

I've downloaded the JP3 C version but there is something terribly wrong with it! Now my Prone resets its interface every time a % of the battery changes! I have to reflash now because there is no way to uninstall it!
This is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been looking for something like this since I bought the phone! Was using battery indicator, but it's not a very clean solution to have 2 battery icons on the bar...now is WAY COOLER!!!!!!
Thanks and a big hug to everyone who contributed to this tweak!
hey.. just noticed something.. my gprs has stopped working after i installed this.. i am JM2 with no other mods.. does anyone have this problem??
Edit: it started working by itself in sometime! so all is well now!
On jp3 version b is working great.

[MOD][CM7][Update] Custom Carrier Name

NOTE: I can't support this anymore as I don't have i9000 anymore. As always flash it at your own risk.
Update: I hear this one works with I9000 latest nightlies, ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1368083). To restore original, you need copy from the I9000 CM7/Insanity zip file cmparts.apk, systemUI,apk and android.policy.jar and put them in the restore file i have linked to be safe.
This is a mod to enter custom carrier name on CM7 based roms ( nightly, Insanity etc). I used doixanh's mod for his GingerDX rom as the base for this mod, stripped out the extra features and implemented a fix for the custom carrier name to appear in notification bar in addition to the lockscreen.
I wanted to do this as some members like me only saw carrier numbers when using CM7 roms and not carrier names. CM7 doesn't use spn_conf.xml like MIUI does or look into eri.xml like CM6.1 used to. Now I can enter whatever i want If you leave it empty, it will default to what you saw before you applied this mod ( carrier number or whatever you saw).
Link:
v1.1
v1.0
Installation is simple. just flash in CWM the zip file from above link. Once rebooted, in your settings->cyanogenmod settings you should see an additional category named Custom settings->custom carrier text. Here enter what you want, press done. Lockscreen takes effect immediately. Use the attached notification restart apk to restart your status bar and voila you should see it there as well.
Thanks to
doixanh ( for his mod and knowledge sharing)
ngiordano75 ( for lending a helping hand with android modding)
tenthstone( for notification restart app)
Have fun with the mod!

don`t have my phone on me right now, but i know that changing color of overscroll glow is there somewhere, battery, you can choose between percentage and graphical, tho you can apply another theme that will modify the battery as well(clock too)

Fo the battery percentage you are right and for the theme also.
What i mean is a mod like this we are now.
To change through the CM settings the battery icon or the clock colour etc
As for the colour of overscroll glow i don't think there is an option in CM settings,
only to change between edge glow and bounce or both.
In SGS2 custom roms(not CM) there is already a mod to change colour of overscroll glow and even battery icon and colour of clock.
Hope to see them in CM too

Thanks! hated the noice reduction also. I think it is working ok on Cognition v1.5.1 rom .. No errors found.
Would be perfect with working on off button. Or notification where a can see real noice reduction status.

Is there any way of getting that icon that appears in the notification bar, saying that the battery is fully charged ? Like the ones in the stock rom ?
Thanks,
