i was wondering why did OTA on my Alliance ROM not working ? i wanna add something like new booting animation. also the ROM Customizer it wont uninstall things like "ChatOn,Google+ and other unnecessary things that running on background eating up my RAM.
Well, im trying to make my phone last longer than it is any suggestion ? thx for reading

Hey everyone, I just rooted my device and was looking for a custom rom and was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions. I know all the roms offer something a little different depending on what the user is looking for, and was looking for a rom that had all the bloatware removed, optimized for performance and battery life, and maybe have a coll updated ui. Im looking forward to your suggestions
Also,since i just rooted it do i need to flash the radio before or after i put on a custom rom(or do i need to do before and after)
also.also, i backed up my system using titanium backup right before i rooted it, will this allow me to put back all the apps i downloaded on my new rom? if so, how do i do this.

I installed fresh .3 and my battery dies in 2 hours without having even been used.
Probably not fresh's fault but just saying.
I have just recently rooted my S3 with Goodness JB 9.0.4. Under the Goodness settings you can touch the title bar "Mijjah74" which takes you to the Team Nocturnal Updater. This you can download different zip files for such things as new boot animations and such. My question is are these all compatible with this rom? It may be a silly question but I just want to be 100% sure. I had an experience where I used a non-compatible kernal and bricked my phone and I really just do not want to do that again. Pretty new with all of this. Thanks for any help/answers.
Hi, I know there are many forums regarding this issue.. but I am a complete noob. I managed to root my phone once and install stock rom.. since then my count in download mode always shows as 2 and even though it says official in download mode.. inside android it still shows modified and i cannot do OTA.. i have 4.3 stock firmware Hong Kong on N7105 installed using Odin 3.04.
I have 2 questions. is there a complete noob friendly guide on how to do a full reset? meaning everything back the way it was so then I can do OTA again?!
second question.. whats the most stable rom if i cannot do OTA.. i dont like all the samsung bloatware and reading multiple threads i always find problems people are having with different mods. I want one that removes the bloatware and just works stable and super fast. i dont care too much about customizations and mods. is CM mod good for this? I looked into the thread and have no idea how to install it.
sorry for noob questions. any help will be appreciated.

Most stable? It's hard to assess. I had CM 10.2 on my note it's clean of samsung bloatware and it's pretty fast without any problem. I changed from it because i love air gestures on 4.3 ROM. Next I had Dr. ketan's rom V6 but it wasn't bad but someone of apps just got crashes without any reason.Now i've got PheonixRom it's really fast and i don't have any crashes on it. Someone of bloatware you can delete in aroma installer then after flashing you can do it by TitaniumBackup.

Well if you have root it can be deleted probably by TitaniumBackup

Hi All,
My Galaxy Fame GT-S6812 is responding very slow even with minimum apps installed. It takes lot of time to load basic apps like Messaging, Contacts.
The android version is 4.1.2, i think is slowing down the device along with the touch wiz UI.
Please let me know is there any way I can get rid of all samsung default utilities like touch wiz ui etc.
Kindly let me know the steps in detail as I am new to rooting devices and installing custom ROM.

This phone have a NICE Hardware but the TouchWiz sucks the phone... that's it... about custom rom's there is two roms (TECNO ROM and UltraDroidRom) but when i install my sim won't work...
hello all im new here coming from s7 since here its very low going on i cant find much of roms and kernels to try im wondering if there is any custom lite rom thats based on the stock one ui 10 i really hope there is one .... and in the case there is any rom like that what is the easiest simple way to remove those bloatware to debloat all those junks like knox etc ? i know only the adb command way but is there any better easy one becuase im facing problems doing that for some reason
