Can u decompile recompile an apk? U need to edit tw_status_bar.xml layout and set as background an animation xml.
Just take a look on xda search box, u ll find froyo related tutorials but it s pretty same concept

Btw i advice to you to make a different layout for landscape mode to avoid the image stretching

I use custom rom resurrection remix in my galaxy s2. I can change da notification background according to my likes. Besides da ROM is bullet fast and easy to use wit lots of customizable option. Y don't u gv it a try?

I used to be on RR JB , i agree with u its rly fast but my prob is that its battery drains after 5 hours but on stock rom it last like 15 hours

May be the photosphere stiching is a bug. That is because its a leak and not offical.
But the new interface looks cool

Yup the new interface looks really great ...

You can use balli's mod for photosphere camera and gallery where u can see full 360 view of image clicked from camera

I was about to make a thread myself about this.
Anyone getting the "Application not Installed" message while installing this like a normal apk, follow the steps:
-> Take a backup of Gallery2.apk (from /system/app) using a root explorer.
-> Delete Gallery2.apk from /system/app.
-> Install the new apk like a normal app.
Tested on CM10.1.
Only thing missing imo - no feature to use External SD card as the storage for camera.

I have tried using photo sphere on 4.1.2 but to my badluck it didnt work perfectly alwaz some prob in stitching ....
But when I installed 4.2.2 and tried to use the same photosphere application on new operating system .... its just worked brilliantly ... 10/10

Hey friends, i really liked the clock and weather widget of S3 and Xperia series and have searched a lot on xda. Unfortunately either the links are dead or they r only supported by stock Roms...
Can somebody pls provide a good widget which can also be used on CM 7 roms?

Had already seen this post, but am already using the Xperia Version of Ultimatum, so i need only widgets...

you need to install this files as system apps, setting the correct permissions and you will need to install widgetpicker.app (IT IS COMLULSORY IN ORDER TO GET THE WIDGETS WORKING PROPERLY!!) install all the apps in /system/app

I tried that too... Have the Widgetpicker pre-installed in this ROM but ES-FILE EXPLORER refuses to change permission of the widget apk... Till now it used to work fine... I guess some prblm with ES or maybe file...

These are great for that fake kit kat feel. However I haven't seen the new dialer anywhere, does anyone have the new phone apk and other files necessary to make it work or is it not possible to get it to work on older ROMs.

Hi thanks for your effort, but... I dont know how to choice permission to write system folder, it is only read!

solved whit root explorer, but no work photosphere....

In launcher, apps that's on SD card disappear from folder after reboot, and folders can contain only 16 apps, however I read it can handle more.

First download the HOPSIN-KAT keyboard you want to use! Next you need to download from Google play ROOT BROWSER now open the app go to DATA then APP and delete anything that says com.Google.android.inputmethod or com.android.inputmethod now go to APP/LIB and look for the same files and delete them next go to SYSTEM then APP and delete the same files and then go to SYSTEM then LIB and delete the same files one last time now reboot your phone! And install the HOPSIN-KAT keyboard you want to install and install it! Make sure you set your input method in settings! The boot animations are not for stock times are they .....cause didn't work on 10k. Just fyi

You know I've never tested em on stock rooted to be honest but if it did not work for you I guess not I'll be sure to put that above ^^ thanks

Ya it works on all ROMs except stock I've tried them on all most evert ROM for our phones i think I lack like 2 or 3 ROMs that I have not flashed
