Introduction​This is my first ROM and I am very proud of it It has come a long way since day one and I want to thank all of the testers who have helped me develop this ROM, I could not have done this without you. I want to give a special thanks to zonly1 and Mrcojocaru for being the best testers one could ask for. Their feedback was pivotal in the creation of GingerSnap.

Note, there is no APM, but thanks to Whitehawkx, you can go to the reboot option in the status bar and choose what kind of reboot you want. Again, all credit goes to Whitehawkx for that and the entire extended quick settings code port, originally from Lidroid.
What can I expect to see in GingerSnap in the future?

Check the Changelog to see what’s coming in the next release/what I’m working on now! You can also leave comments there or here to tell me what you’d like to see!
Instructions:
1) Place ROM on internal or external SD, doesn’t matter which one
2) Boot into recovery
3) Factory/data reset
4) Install zip
5) Wipe Dalvik-cache, fix permissions
6) Reboot
7) Wait 10 minutes for resources to settle- don’t touch your phone
8) Reboot phone
9) Go into settings, applications, development, enable USB debugging
10) Done.
I understand you may not like the ROM, but I have put over 40 hours of work into it so, feel free to voice your concern, just be respectful to me and other forum members
Also, if you want to use a CPU controller, I recommend CPU Tuner! It works the best for this ROM.

just to be sure when you say data throttle removed . you mean if tmobile throttled you you cant be throttled?

I am looking at modifying the files that communicate with your data/calendar to see what I can do. That is a project that hasn't really been dealt with intensively yet. I just saw them in the services.jar and it grabbed my interest.

I don't know I don't have a Lu6200 and the nitro was a friends who let me use it for the day to get aokp running for him look in hono thread on packing the boot.IMG I guess I could do it later though

I installed build 30 tonight on my p935, quick feedback:
- Opera mobile 12 doesn't play well with it (on keyboard entry it hangs opera, systemui & launcher)
- Stock browser checkerboards/tiles at times when scrolling a page
- As you stated, most everything appears to be functional
- Launcher stutters more than in menus (eg. Launcher feels like about 15fps, menus & browser look like about 30fps) forced gpu made no difference.
- Generally smoother than cm9 build
- Battery life is surprisingly good, especially in standby (though too early to say for sure)
Would build.prop tweaks that people have used on 2.2/2.3 work? Was thinking of trying max_events_per_sec & touch sensitivity flags to see if they would make a difference?

AOKP looks interesting. The closer to vanilla Android builds the better. Projects like CM and AOKP are what save the day on Android phones. Can't wait to try this out.

This ROM is BADASS!
I installed it and like it a lot, but a couple issues cause me to uninstall.
-TIBU cannot find root, so it's not working.
-the persistent google search bar option to hide is no longer available
-camera
will this ROM be continually updated? if so, I can&will make a donation.

I'll try my best as i don't have the pphone my buddy just wanted me to get it working for him. but with loss root you can always fllash this but i'm also working on cm9 for my phone which is almost booting and AOKP for the tf

Install superuser from the market, reboot and it should work.
For persistent google search bar, i believe you can force stop the service and it goes away. Or, do what I did and install trebuchet into /system/app and use that instead.... it's a little smoother than the stock launcher as well.

Some tweaks i've done to build.prop:
debug.composition.type=dyn (change from c2d to dyn, it's already in there)
windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=150
debug.performance.tuning=1
video.accelerate.hw=1
ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1
These made everything really smooth to scroll through.
Next I installed Trebuchet and put it in system/app (fixed permissions of course) & use it as my launcher. Now this rom is.... very smooth.
I did some battery tweaks, but i'll need time to see if did anything good/bad. So far on build 30 i'm at 17h 45m, 1h 30m screen on time & have 35% battery left. Easily as good as stock....
Give it a shot, made it an entirely different experience!

no it's not the stock look. i have to go to dinner with my fam in like 2 minutes but i took a bunch i will upload later. it's got all black UI and a bunch of other stuff. all inverted gapps with a custom icon set.

I got a cm9 linaro build also but I never posted here so I'm gonna test it out with this first and see how it goes.

How's it running? Smooth? some options are missing but the size of the ROM speaks for itself if the speed and smoothness does not.

Just took a screen shot with it in 1080 P. It works for me? Native is 720....

All these rom options are intimidating coming from the rezound, trying to find one rom to settle with is proving to be difficult

XDA is a site of serious development, but unfortunaly some people (visitors and members) come only here to pick ROM's and upgrades for their phones (Yes I know that YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) without even pressing thanks for the developers who made these things. We devs spent a LOT of time and effort to do these modifications to improve and perfect our phones (it doesn't matter what phone is) and we receive nothing in return. Let's change it. Yes, this is my Project. I'm now modifying somethings (build.prop, rearranging minfree values) and I've retired and added apps and other things. This was one of my best years, so to give my present to this forum, i'm spenting my time working in this rom for us!

Some tips to use in Balance Launcher ->
Q. Oh My GOD! The Icons are Overlapping! What i do?
A. In homescreen, press menu button and go to Customize. So you scroll down to "Application Drawer" (It has only 3 options) and tap Grid Size 3x4.
Q. I don't like of the black background on menu. I wanna see my wallpaper when i use my app drawer. What I do?
A. In homescreen, press menu button and go to Customize.So you scroll down to "Application Drawer" and tap Background Setting. Use these options to set transparency and light.
Once you're over. It'll prompt to restart the application to set the changes. Don't worry, because this application is very fast to apply settings.

Some tips to make the ROM better ->
1. I implanted Adrenaline Boost, so type sh boost on Terminal Emulator.
2. Swap and use chainfire it if you're wanting to play heavy games. When you overclock your phone, return to default frequency to save battery.
3. Get a light theme. Some themes are heavy to GPU so they drop your overall performance when used. So far i used GingerBlurB and no heavy lost of performance. Try using some themes and report here so i can guide some people to use the best on performance!
4. Use a battery saver. I recommend TrendMicro Longevity. Its 's very good and save a lot of battery.
5. Some Kernels can really drop your performance and eat battery. I recommend using an RM CAF kernel. I actually use v5 Vsync Off and is very good.
6. Do not use widgets only to make your phone beautiful. They eat performance of GPU and battery. It's the same with Live Wallpapers.
7. Try minimizing the usage of background applications. They use a LOT of RAM and makes your phone really slower.
8. Uninstall All Apps that you don't use. Before installing, check Root Uninstaller and apply my recommendation. All apps create cache and these slow down your phone giving bad performance.
9.Always use an Antivirus, especially if you use 2G/3G or wifi. Some malwares install themselves on phone and can do a series of bad things on YOUR Phone.

I don' t care about games or HD games( I can play it on PC or laptop), just hope Audio Seàrch working fine on this ROM
And make a CM7 and CM9 stable for our device (I don't care about 'CM10 for now, maybe later)

Governors is relative to Kernel. If your kernel doesn't have more governors, it isn't compatible. Search for other kernels =D

MMS mod to have the enter key instead of the emoji button, please

Man this isn't mms mod! It's relative to keyboard. In Settings -> Language and Keyboard -> Keyboard Settings you can modify this. I already tested and worked using Smart Keyboard. Someone can suggest an theme to ROM?

Ram handling looks pretty good. Mine shows 1.26 GB on stock with all the apps closed.

oh this rom sometimes in the 1st hour of boot gets to 830 mb when clearing the ram. but when its settled, it gets to 660, its a very stable and solid rom. perfect for everyday use

Mashkoor. all high speed touch phones over heat. IPHONES. SAMSUNG'S. htc's, sony's, here is the solution. well kinda. dont use it while charging.
and make sure brightness is low if your indoors. and shut off wifi if your not using it
and as for arabic fonts. there are many on the internet. maybe in the next version @ezzhisham

Bro, if your device is rooted you can do it yourself with root explorer or any other..
