[Q] Note 2 Gallery and Video Player

Hi,
I have samsung galaxy grand duos. I have installed Galaxy Note 2 Gallery and Video Player which link given here.
But its not working and I also have not my original stock rom gallery and videoplayer.
So please know me now what I can do ? Where I can find my original gallery and videoplayer.

If you have root you can copy the files given then go to CWM then flash it from there..u should get the Note 2 Gallery and Video Player then..

Use Stock Rom.

i used in my stock rom (baseband I9082XXAMD1 and build number is J2054K.i9082XXAMCD)
it didnt work getting error
Video player is stop working....
please help

gallery worked before update, but after updating to xxame4 video player working but gallery not

How to use this apk? Just simply install it? because i tried but i wont work. App Not Installed..., and I tried copied directly to /root/system/apk ... it open but then ... Unfortunately, Music Player has stopped ... any solution? or i did something wrong???

Im also unable to install this app , I like the stock music player and especially the 3d bass effect part

Didnt work and now cant uninstall
I tried installing. It just gave an option as "done" but no "open" . now I cant even find it anywhere to uninstall. How to uninstall this ?

Upgrade Camera to Android 4.4.2 for Samsung 4.3 TouchWiz Roms

This flashable zip I put together will remove the stock Samsung Camera and Samsung Gallery from the Samsung 4.3 touchwiz roms and replace them with the latest Android 4.4.2 Camera along with a more usable Gallery app from ICS. I like this setup much better than stock but of course your mileage may vary. Make a backup first in case you don't like the changes.

I have try it and it works. My old Samsung camera is still working too.
Photosphere works, panorama works, video recording works.
Everything works acept the HDR and Raw mode.
I can't find it anywhere in the settings.
But, Nice work!

Custom recovery such as twrp or cwm is needed.

I believe the problem is that your Samsung Camera and Gallery apps are odexed versions and the Android Camera app is deodexed. Try this version. It will delete the odexed versions and replace them with deodexed versions and also install the Android Camera. As always, make a back up first.

hello! I flashed the add camera only, and it fc when I click in photosphere or panorama.
I have a rooted stock 4.3 for the international n7100
what about the gallery? I thought it would duplicate it so I can view the photospheres

I'm not sure what the problem is. You are the first to bring up this issue. Do you have any other mods on your phone, or have you changed the dpi of your rom? Try to clear the data for both cameras and the gallery in your application settings.
Or maybe it was a bad download ...try to download again if clearing the data doesn't help.

Hey ED.. will that V2 version work on the Jedi X2 rom.... so far the original upload from the first thread is FC'ing on me....

You can download a new gallery app from the playstore. This will fix the issue.

It worked for me, but when I flashed it and rebooted, the gallery dissapears. Using quickpic now ._.

Camera does work. But does remove gallery. Installed the asop gallery apk (before it was pulled)

Can't remember where I got it. But seemly works exactly like it should (on CM11 with x1021)

Excellent work - glad to have stock cam back. But in particular I like this maintainance script keeping camera available after flash update of the ROM :good:

Motorola Gallery App
@EMINEM786 Awesome work there.... :good:
Now no need to revert to stock from custom roms... :laugh:
But unfortunately flashing the camera in recovery removes the Gallery app...
I'm attaching the Motorola Gallery app along with this post and this would work fine with the Moto Camera....
The Moto Gallery app is meant to be used with this cam instead of the AOSP gallery...
Please add this to your post, will help others... :good:

The ASOP Gallery works great. Does the original Gallery for the moto allow editing photos within the app?

Yup, it comes with an in built feature rich editor...
Try it yourself...
I can vouch you won't go back to the AOSP gallery anymore...
