Unlock bootloader so I can root device.

Hello. Yesterday I tried to root my one x with instructions I found on One xRoot.com. Everhthing went well I thought because my device febooted 3 times as it said it would and then the instructions said I had root. But SuperSu did not show up in my app tray. Apparently my bootloader is locked. How would I vo about unlocking so so that I can root my device? I am running 4.1.1 JB on my one x and the instructions were for ICS. I did not realize this in the first place. I will agtace so pi tures of tbe info off of my device if it will help. Thanks in ad ance.

This section is for the international one x mate. Not the 4G version which you have.

The oneclickroot you tried wont work. It only works for few international versions ( ICS only ).
In onexroot.com you will find another tutorial to unlock bootloader ( this will give rootand SuperSU )

Do NOT use anything from here ! Definitely not the TEGRA 3 all in one rootkit. You have to flash only stuff from your own forum !

AT&T, HTC one xl, rogers forum with this

Mr hofs is right. You see evita pvt wriiten on top of bootloader. Go to the evita one x forum. Sorry, i couldnt see the image earlier.

[Q] How to S-OFF TO S-ON

As the title says, how do I turn my WFS S-OFF to S-ON?

Because there is a less chance of hard bricking the phone when the security flag is on?

I don't know? My WFS was rooted before, did it long time ago so I have forgotten how I did it. I wanted S-ON so i used a RUU and have a stock ROM now but still my WFS is S-OFF...

HTC one x back to stock

I have a HTC ONE X which is HTC_001 it is unlocked to any network as it's sim free does anyone know how to revert back to stock

Post you main version here
Fastboot getvar version-main
And someone should be able to identify if the right one is available for you.

Urgent.. help no rom, re locked phone

I am having problems with my HTC One x
I have no rom installed on my phone when I tried to install a custom ROM on it, like a idiot i didnt make a Nandroid backup of my phone.
Here is the following information on the BOOT SCREEN
RE - LOCKED

I have tried a H3G RUU file following the prompts and it mentions that it cannot install as I have the 3.14.771.34 installed
I tried using the following RUU
RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_H3G_UK_1.29.771.11_Radio_1.1204.105.14H_release_260888_signed
I cant find any later RUU files that will either let me update past 3.14
Is my phone broke? cant it be fixed

Just unlock it again, then install a custom recovery and the rom of your choice. And no, it isn't broken

when im trying to flash a H-boot rom it went wrong and stuck in a big grey HTC logo in the middle and four triangle sign on each corner of the screen,
could anyone please help me?
I've try power+vol down in a bright light, but somehow it doesn't works. it there anything i do wrong in this process？

I have download Stock recovery 1.54.401.5 and the exactly rom. After I flash this recovery I tried to flash the rom but failed, it says: remote: 24 parsing android-info fail. Any ideas guys?

Yes, you should have fastboot access. You should be able to flash an hboot or firmware zip and restore it.

You will have to unlock your bootloader to fix this. You won't have the options on the screen but you should still be able to access the phone with fastboot. You have a corrupted hboot.

He's already in the bootloader

Do you have a stock recovery image for your phone? If not look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2696282
Everything you need is in this thread. How to flash etc. It will return you to stock conditions. Make sure you get the recovery image that matches your devices.

Just calm down Since your phone is turning on it means that its not bricked Bricked means if your device is just dead, cant be powered on, virtually a real brick

What carrier is your phone from? I'll try prepare a flashable hboot for you it will help if you happen to have an ota zip file from your carrier
