[Q] ICS Camera mod for JB? - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

Is there some way to have ICS stock camera on JB.? Or some mode for JB without bugs. If yes please share a link.
My Xperia is on Trinity Vengeance RaptorXL and its awesome but Video recording has lag like in all other JB roms (custom, stock that I tried).
I just want my phone to be smooth and quick like with this rom now and I want to have camera without bugs like it was on stock ICS.

Since that you wishes for a rom that is stable and has all the stuff working..then the only option that you have is stock based rom such as arconium, jelly sandwich, ics jb remix..etc..cm9 and cm10 is out of the question then..However, if you prefer the aosp look..you may try jj hybrid rom that is based on stock but with the cm9 look..it is fast too..
Right now I am using Omega v3 with the jb driver and lupus v5.2 kernel..for me that and jj hybrid is the fastest rom that i ever tried..
Aha, great then I might try it then
..
If you don't care about graphical user interface ,defintely JJ hybrid rom is great (fast - compatible with games - has ROM control as well) ,few bugs though like wifi hotspot http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1537717
If you care about having nice user interface with reasonable game performance with lots of free ram available you can try Jelly sandwich http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1836993 or the Remix http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1884958
Also Xperia Purness worth a try as well http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1788701
For the Kernel i always advice to use stock kernel in order to avoid battery drain issues.

This is so far the smoothest and fastest ROM I have experienced on my phone
It provides loads of memory:
Internal Memory : About 350 Mb on clean install (could be more)
RAM : On average gives an awesome 240-250 Mb free on clean install
This is so far the max amount of space provided by any ROM
Main Features
1. Clean and awesome UI from Xperia S
2. NXT style lockscreen (fully working)
3. Notification Toggle fully working with working Network Mode Toggle (2G/2G3G/3G)
4. Modded Camera Higher Image and Video Qualty
5. Xperia launcher with options avilable

And 'this' is?
Btw, I am on jj's hybrid ROM.Yeah, its great but there are launcher lags :| and not so much ram available occasionally...
Go for Jelly Sandwich 6.1 | Adv Stock ICS Kernel
Super Fast, Smooth, Stable
Great ROM....
Yeah Jelly Sandwich is the fastest rom i've ever tested.
Vote for JJ Hybrid, Jelly Remix, Pureness ...
I'm on JJ Hybrid Stock kernal after some time you might see some launcher lags.Battery is doing good

Too much topic abt "best rom".
In my opinion, GB is the best. I use Acorium 8.2 and everything ok for me.
xperia ultimate hd by jader for super speed and stability, combined with adv. stock kernel
Jelly Sandwich 6.2
my Best
zohaib0001 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746508 with KTG http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1647665
Works good with best battery life
Tried many, but have to admit GB is the one with the least lags.I am using X-GAMER now and its fantastic
Stock based Gingerbread ROM beats any ICS/JB ROM anyday.. Use Arconium 8.2 or Xperia S ROM.. Everything works fine and smooth!

Ever trying JB based ROM?
Was wondering about bugs/FCs before, but after 1 month using KXP ROM in the development section I could not suffer the lags of any 4.0 roms any longer:fingers-crossed:
I do not play any large games on phone (psp, 3ds are for games) n not interested in the cameras, so far JB roms work well for me.
Jelly Sandwich 6 + adv stock kernel
amazing: smooth and battery friend.
Xperia T 5 rom + adv stock kernel + build.prop& init.d custom tweaks = awesome

JB vs. ICS

JB vs. ICS
which costume rom is faster on ARC
rom based on JB or ICS
JB is better version of ICS. Project Butter, smart features on homescreen and amazing statusbar. Just flash CM10 and see for yourself, OK?
JB is faster than ICS.
I installed both FXP CM9 and CM10.
CM10 is far better than CM9.
Hit "Thanks" if I helped you.:good:

The only reason I don't install any JB or CM10 ROM is that they don't support HDMI out yet.
Please, sign the petition in here if you didn't do yet (xda thread where there is the petition link) :
[IMPORTANT] Please Read.. Xperia HDMI Source Petition :good:
AOKP is much better than CM10, but sometimes its buggy or wifi doesnt work.
Also i dont feel the sony experience, so i prefer ICS
I think that AOKP from CM10 made a verry good job!
I'm using KXP atm and all I can say it's that this is the best rom I've used since ICS+.

ICS and JB roms dont have touchpads 100% functionality yet neither does the gamepad.
This is the best ICS ROM for me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1854682
I'm using it with Lupus kernel and overclocked to 1.2.
Great performance and Xperia NXT style.

[Q] Xperia Arc S Camera JB

OK so guys, I have this issue with my Xperia Arc S. I have installed several JB Roms on my Xperia Arc and eachone worked perfectly. But all had this issue... they don't record in 720p Video mode! And this is an issue for me since I have my friend that is interested in buying the phone but only if it is loaded with Jelly Bean and can record 720p videos. By the way I have the Lupus JB kernel on the phone and... Well can anyone show me a JB rom with a working camera at 720p or give me some sort of zip to flash that fixes the problem? Will flashing the default sony camera apps hekp?Thank you! Just a note, if you are showing me a rom, please may it not be one of the ICS based ones that just have the JB names and themes in them.... THANK YOU!
You can put the Viper Xperia 4.5. This firmware camera records in 720p format.
JB my friend, not ICS

Thanks for the quick reply and all but as I mentioned, I need a JB ROM and not an ICS one... although if in the end I have to put an ICS ROM, Viper will be my choice...
Here's a version of the approach? Racing Bean Version 3.0! Starting with version 2.2 is available 720p video recording (18fps).

since all jb roms for arc are CM based, they all have the same camera quality, because it is an issue from CM10, which is still on nightlies
Thanks Will try soon and will be back!
