[Q][XPERİA S] is possible to integrate videocall into Xperia S

Hi guys. Everybody knows there isn't videocall in our Xperias.. But SGS3 has it.. I wonder is possible to integrate into our Xperias???

Even thought Xperia S isn't Skype verified, the video call quality is perfect.

i know it's video quality and i'm using skype.. but i want to use voicecall via 3g network :/

Hello, i just created latest .ftf file [Sony Official ICS Firmware 6.1.A.2.55]
tried on my device (acro S) and it works

to flash this, you need flashtool :
1. Open flashtool
2. Go to flashmode
3. Find the downloaded .ftf file
4. Click ok if you want to wipe data and cache and untick wipe data and cache if you don't want to.
5. Hold volume down while plug in the device
6. Wait for flashtool to finish flashing
7. Unplug if it is finished, and then reboot (turn on your device)

No,don't do it...Acro hd and Acro s is OBVIOUSLY different model of devices

Yes, you can. Acro s roms work on acro hd. They are almost the same, except the hd has 1 seg tv.

Yeah, I've had roms for the Acro S running on my Acro HD. Back on rooted Docomo firmware now, though.

Hi everybody !
i just updated my xperia sl from 4.0.4 to 4.1.2 ! I want to use on screen buttons rather than its default capacitive buttons.
how can i do that ?
I think its not possible without rooting so is there any idea to root the latest official ROM of sony xperia s or sl ?

Yes it would be great, but as I searched the web currently there is not root for Xperia S JB yet. Keep waiting devs won't make us wait for a long time

Flash the prerooted Rom. It works with LB!! And then use opensemc app!

Just add this to your build.prop at the end -

Save it and reboot. It works 100%, I tested it myself

How he can add this line without root? He don't have rooted JB as every with locked bl.

Well Doom has clearly stated that this rom can be flashed on locked bootloader too. All he needs right now is stock ics with CWM installed and then he can flash the rom
Plus cwm is available even for locked bootloader now

But CWM is not fully working. And it's outdated version.

Yes, u r exactly right, before updating via SUS, to install pre-rooted JB, I had tried with installed CWM(locked bootloader, stock ICS 4.0.4) downloading that ROM but CWM didn't work properly. Isn't there any other way to get root acess till now @ 6.2.B.0.200 (locked bootloader)?

I don't think that any one click root method for .200 firmware is available as of now.

I added 'qemu.hw.mainkeys=0' at the end of build.prop, everything is fine but when I open camera, the on screen buttons almost covers the camera buttons. What can I do? Is there any idea? It's really annoying. I had attached the screenshot.

That vendor overlay method didn't work for me but I hope it works for you

i tried install on my acro s, JB 4,1 stock rooted.
i did wipe cache partition and dalvik, after reboot its just showing "android is upgrading-starting aps"
any one can tell me whats wrong that make this bootloop?
and what should i do to make this mod installed and working?

Same here, unstable app. Remove it.

It's just NOT working on xperia s roms, you mean no one here knows how to install and follow instructions ? Maybe it needs a bit to be ported but like it is now it's useless. I'm sorry for the rude words but that's the way it is now. Otherwise Rizal's work is great, I've used his older mods like forever
