I have been trying to install a custom rom using FREEGEE. I couldn't figure why i kept getting errors when trying to install the rom. My phone was properly rooted and FREEGEE booted correctly. Because it didn't word i kept trying different thing. I tried to whipe different things and accendenly whiped my entire internal storage! UPS. I can stille boot into FREEGEE recovery but my backup is also deleted. I found out a way i might could repair the issue following this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010624. The program runs for some time but then the phone launches the FREEGEE recovery start screen and i get an error prompt saying: "upgrade error: wparam: 100 lparam: 210". The error log is attached and you can read it.
I really hope you can help me, i'm in a bit of a struggle!
Thank you!

So here's the deal. I have A rooted Droid Incredible and i cant get past the splash image. I tried going into recovery and wiping everything and flashing a new rom but I keep getting the following message:
E: Can't mount dev/block/mmcblk0p1
It comes up when i try to flash a rom and says installation aborted about halfway through installing. It also comes up when i try to wipe and do a factory reset.
If anyone knows a way around this It would be immensely helpful, because as of right now i cant use my phone which is a problem. I'm running clockwork recovery v2.5.0.5.

no clue how to fix, but didn't you make a nandroid? restore to that for now so that your phone at least works, until you get an answer.

What you want to do is RUU. Go to the link in my siggy 3G drops, and d/l the RUU.
I'm not the most knowledgeable here by a long shot, but I feel your panic. First thing I would try is pulling the battery, waiting a few minutes, and then put it back in, boot to recovery, and try to restore your backup. Fingers crossed- at least this will hold you until someone who knows more than I starts asking the right questions.
Oh, and second, try searching for that error message maybe.
That's all I got. Good luck!
Edit: while I was writing this, two others gave advice first
Okay it's been a few months since this has happened so I'll try to remember as best as I can; I had rooted my Nexus using WugFresh's kit, everything went fine. It was rooted for about 6 months and eventually got stuck in a boot loop (no clue how this happened, I hadn't installed any kernals, roms, even apps in months). I tried like 4 or 5 different methods to fix the issue; I finally was able to get the phone working again using ODIN mode, it completely restored it to stock (as far as I'm aware).
So I tried to re-root the phone; no luck, using ANY method I've been able to find. The main problem is I can't seem to get into TWRP, every time I try to it simply gives me the dead android with the red exclamation point. I'm not an advanced user by any means, but I'm not totally clueless and I can follow directions. If anyone has any advice for me on this I'd GREATLY appreciate it, I have an excellent 4G signal where I live and the only other internet option is AT&T basic DSL so I'd really like to be able to use my wifi hotspot again. Thanks in advance for your time, I appreciate anyone who takes the time to try to help.
1) android on its back is stock recovery.
2) follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529058
it works 100% of the time if you read and take your time.
it sounds like you have root but cant flash a recovery, let me know if im wrong but if this is the case I would just download goo manager from the market and go into settings and flash a custom recovery and that should fix your recovery problem but sometimes you have to download the recovery twice ive noticed that in the past, let me know if this works for you or you could go through the longer process above but your fix may be very simple
Thanks for the info, I will try this either tonight or tomorrow and get back to you; I certainly hope it works!

I thought that too, but I tried installing super user and a couple of other root-only apps and it said that my device wasn't rooted. =P

This is driving me insane. I'm trying this method; I followed the directions step by step, but my phone is showing that it is unlocked already (when I entered the fastboot oem unlock command in CP it returned FAILED: Invalid Command, but it is showing as unlocked in bootloader.
Now for the weird part; I rebooted to bootloader and tried fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-6.0.2.3-toroplus.img and it returned immediately FAILED: Invalid Argument. I decided to start the process over, and now I can't reboot from CP, it's saying error: device not found.
I really want to just smash this f*%&ing thing into several hundred thousand pieces right about now, so I'm going to take a break for the moment. Are there different types of bootloaders, or is it possible the my bootloader is just corrupted or something?
There are different bootloaders, but the fastboot commands should work just the same. You're on Windows i'm assuming? You could also look at efrant's guide, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1626895, as well as his 101 in the general section stickies. It does not make sense that the device would become not found, and I would try reflashing the bootloader. Don't smash the phone!
Have you tried this method?

your drivers are not installed correctly.
Hello. I've spent about the past 2 hours trying to figure this out. So, how this started was, a while back when I first got the phone, I wanted 4.4, so I rooted my phone, and tried to flashify a recovery like CWM and TWRP. Both of these failed. I tried many times, and no matter what I tried, flashing always failed. But guess what, my stock recovery was erased in the process. I forgot about it until today, where I found the OTA update to 4.4 was released, and attempted to do it. To my dismay, I forgot I had no recovery mode, and instantly got the "boot certification verify" error screen. Now All I can access is download mode, to my knowledge. So I've been trying to fix this, either by installing stock recovery, or another way to install a custom. All to no avail. When I use the lg flash tool for the stock recovery, it fails at "BIN CRC Check". Every.... Single.... Time. Despite downloading multiple replacement files. I would be perfectly content with installing a customer recovery, but the ways I see require the phone to be on, and use the built in recovery mode. At this point, my phone is bricked, and I am looking for any and all ways to either A) boot back up normally without installing a recovery and fix it later, or B) install a recovery, even if it's the hard way.
Update:
I followed this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2582142
It looked like it was going to work. I am using a Xubuntu virtual machine. I was copying the files over, and every time it finished copying a file, it unmounted and remounted my phone (I don't know if that was suppose to happen, just worth mentioning if it wasn't suppose to). I was super excited to do it. Hard rebooted my phone. And now it's just a blank screen. I have no logo, no error, and no download mode like I had before. Seriously need some help here.
Update#2:
I have the flash tool correctly working. Awesome! But..... I still have no download mode here.... So I can't use the tool....

I'm decently surprised NO ONE has replied here.
My phone is now updated to the 4.4.2 version, E98020h. The first error I kept getting in the command window for kitkatroottool running StartRoot.bat was that './adb.exe' is not a recognizable or executable command, whatever that error was. I was able to fix this by simply adding a line to the batch file to change the directory to the current folder I was using. Adb would execute, device gets found, and it reboots. But when this did happen, the phone would reboot into recovery and would hang on the screen with the little Android guy lying down with his front compartment/chest open and the red triangle with an exclamation point. I don't know if this is normal or not, but I have tried this several times, waiting up to 20 minutes on this screen before proceeding on the command window, and it is unable to push the necessary files. or properly continue the root process. I see nothing on the screen, even after pressing power/volume controls, along the lines of selecting files or browsing through some recovery menu. (Obviously I don't have a custom recovery flashed right now.... did I need one?) Is there a better guide I can follow to do this? any videos? USB debugging definitely was enabled, tried both with charge only and MTP (I didn't see anywhere that specified a connection mode...?)
Thanks in advance for the help. I DID search but couldn't find anything...my bad if I missed what I was looking for. Please just point me in the right direction

Just tried that, got root but no loki support. Still could not get CWM to loki-ifiy properly.. keep getting that error that there was an "error loki-ifying the boot image" or something like that

I tried that, but it kept giving the error that something was getting terminated while waiting for a process to finish, and then another error performing the action loki_recovery. I have attached the log.txt file from the app....
I don't know if CWM flashed successfully or not as I didn't bother trying to test is since the loki error was the initial problem anyway. If I had to guess I'd say that CWM would have launched and ran properly except for its tasks in loki-ifying.
I have been looking at this thread recently.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2700086
Currently trying the method from the 2nd post: back to stock TOT on 4.1 with LGflashtools, root, VooDoo, OTA update, and then freegee again. Worthwhile? Advice?
Hello,
need a lot of help trying to get my EU HTC 10 working again.
Im very new with this kind of stuff and have obviously messed something up on my device. I was running LeeDroid on my HTC 10, (bootloader unlocked, twrp recovery installed), however i wanted to return to stock and followed guides on xda.
I flashed a twrp recovery backup and rebooted my device, i then flashed stock recovery and re-locked the bootloader. After rebooting my device again a message pops up onto the screen saying 'unfortunately setup wizard has stopped'. I cannot get past this message and do not have twrp installed anymore to re-flash any rom, and do not have usb debugging enabled in settings and cant enable as i cant get into device.
I have tried using an RUU.exe to restore phone how ever the installer give me error 170 (device not detected). I have also tried to ruu.zip from my sd card however i get error '19 RU-MAIN-VER-FAIL os-version in android-info missing or i'.
anyone have any ideas on how to proceed.
Thank you!

I've never wanted to return to stock, especially after running leedroid. So not 100% but have you tried a factory reset?
