[REQUEST] BlinkFeed Editing. - One (M7) Themes and Apps

Hello guys, i have a question since i love BlinkFeed and im using it everyday for me this is really cool future, the downside for me is only that my Country its missing from the BlinkFeed and thats mean i cannot read local news and etc, my wish was HTC to make the BF more costumizable and to add more Country specific regions.
Since almost everything here is editable/ hacked cooked and so on fron the Developers i was thinking that maybe someone already knowvhow to do it.
To Edit the BlinkFeed by adding other Countrys like BULGARIA
And many other this will be very usefull if i wana read the local stuffs.
Thanks in advance i hope to recive answers/suggestions

+1 With ability to add custom feeds...
MG

+1 - ability to add different web services

+1 for Romania

rss would be amazing to have. Why oh why no RSS

You have to wait for upcoming updates for local stuff. when you check your country in blinkfeed settings, you will be notified when local stuff go online.

New HTC widgets?

Have I just noticed these or have 'Notes', 'Tip Calculator' and 'Today in History' appeared under 'Get more HTC Widgets' when you go to add a widget?! Just testing now...I know people mentioned that it was odd that there wasn't a Notepad app built in...looks good!
They have been there a while, the notes widget is great
I keep the note widget up on a screen and already use it regularly
Sorry, guess I'm a little slow, thought I knew most about it by now! Like the notes, shame there's no options to change the tip calc to £, but guess it works the same! Like the today in history too, be better if there was a half size one though.
strange....
That's odd,I just checked my add widgets bit but just get the day in history one which I have had for a while...is this country specific perhaps? I'm in the UK so how do I get the notes etc or are they to be released later perhaps. Those who have it, where in the world are you ?

Have you refreshed?
Well I clicked on add more widgets. Do you mean the refresh all thing by HTC ? Think I mean the sync all...
Oops ignore me ...forgot I had a menu button...just assumed it would update itself being a genius phone lol. Thanks for the post tho,I would have missed out
try updating to the latest rom.
menu - settings - about phone - system software updates - check now.
I have no idea if this will help but I am on t-mobile in UK and I get the new widgets. I think it coincided with the Rom update but not 100% sure.
edit - posted at same time as response. sorry!

I'm in the UK, T-Mobile supplied Desire. Was on 1.15.110.11 when I got it, and haven't seen any updates, been checking manually too. Sure the 'Get more htc widgets' wasn't there before though! Weird!

[Q] House hunting apps

Hi all,
having previously owned an iP***e and having applications such as rightmove and findaproperty i would just like to know if anyone has come across any android apps that do this particular job. Im looking for a house at the moment and these apps really helped me out before getting a quick insight in to house details before rerquesting a viewing. I currently us layar to get the details but it is a very long winded way of doing it.
Any advice would be great
Very +1 on this. Also had no luck on finding a good property app.
Sent from my HTC Desire
there is a immoscout24 app but afaik it is only useable in germany.
I also know that the AR browser layar and the located based service app Aloqua has such services but I think only for germany, too.
you could use layar with the Find a Property Overlay... works kind of fine for me
Speaking as an estate agent, why don't you register with an agent, throughout all these different apps/websites, the agent can tell you about new ones straight away rather than u waiting til it appears on the net. Our bargains tend to sell before they hit the net.

[Q] Where Does HTC Hub Store Skins?

Where does the HTC Hub app store downloaded Sense Skins (like Music Lover and such)? I've been all across the internet, XDA, etc, as well as Root Explorer-ing the hell out of the root folders.
Anyone know exactly where it stores these files?
If you download, you can find at /data/app.
Skins are apk`s as far as I know!
is there any reason why they arent releasing any more? Are there any new ones around here?
@Ganil, thanks bro! I found them with your help!
@blunted09, the reason I was asking where the skins were was because a buddy of mine and I have been collaborating for about 6 years now in Photoshop projects. These range from websites, to signatures, and even state competitions. The problem before, we couldn't find a ROM that we liked enough to actually release public themes for.
We both have the Droid Incredible, but we will be developing our themes through the HTC Hub so that they are easily installable, backwards compatible, and have a quality not seen before on XDA. Now that we've got the skins from the /data/app/ folder, work get begin. Get ready for some new themes!
No problem bro
A few days ago on HTCSense.com they had a "Memories" skin (orange looking one) but it would not download or show up in the HTC Hub on my phone, HTC said it should work but usual rubbish from the customer service team.
Did anyone else see it/download it. If possible would you be able to share it.
Cheers

[Collection] TopAndroidWallpapers.com - Database of Free Live Wallpapers

TopAndroidWallpapers.com is a newly started community driven project with the purpose of creating a huge database of live wallpapers and giving users the ability to sort through the live wallpapers by Rating and Popularity. The wallpapers are presented in an easy to browse format and can easily be downloaded from your phone. Selection is very limited at the moment. It has just been a couple of days since I started this up. Any recommendations for the website (or Live Wallpaper suggestions) are more than welcome.
We have tons of categories and tags to choose from. Basically something for everyone. And the rating and popularity filters are icing on top of the cake!
Feedback on what kind of live wallpapers you like (and how you find our website) will be much appreciated.
Don't forget to vote for your favorite free live wallpapers
Over 100 views and no reply? Cmon guys! I will be accepting negative criticism only today. It is only positive criticism from tomorrow onward!
Downloaded like 10 live wallpapers. Great website also. The only thing I hate is the icons for the wallpapers are in the drawer but I have nova prime so I can hide them!

I'm glad you it worked out for you and thanks for the positive feedback, it was much appreciated! I completely agree with you on the Live wallpaper icons appearing in the menu. They can be annoying... but again I am glad glad Nova Launcher Prime is doing the job for you
Do hit me up if you have any suggestions for the website, or to make the experience better for visitors. This goes for everyone!
I've always wanted to have some good LWPs but finding them from the Play store is such a pain.

Great web site and layout. But I was 2 for 2 with s h itty spam crap and gave up. Not your fault (unless you made them that way ), but maybe if you filter and test the content you collect and add you might get return visitor's.
good day.
Cool website. Being able to sort each live wallpaper by popularity, rating, etc. (more than just the top 5) would be nice!
This free one is nice, and the paid version is even better!

Great stuff guys, I am just loving the feedback! Keep em coming, don't let it dry out! Any suggestions? Bring it!
On a few of your suggestions I have added your choice of Free Live Wallpapers to the database. Still looking for more suggestions from other users. Please suggest the Best Free Live Wallpapers you have used on your device, so we can add it up to our Live wallpapers database!
Any Live wallpapers you guys see that are full of Ads/Spam, please comment on that individual Live wallpaper on the website so it can be taken down or a Big Notice be put up on the LWP page mentionining Spammy Apps. You will get lots of well-wishes from other users, who will know not to download that Live wallpaper.

Sorry for the trouble of spam from installing this wallpaper. It's an issue with some developers but we personally do not endorse such Live wallpapers. Thanks for identifying the the wallpaper with the spam issue, we will update the wallpaper post with the same information so people are aware of the spam issue before installing the wallpaper.
We would also appreciate if the community could get involved in identifying similar wallpapers in benefit of the entire Android-user community. We may even be opening up positions for Contributors and Moderators to assist us in making the TopAndroidWallpapers.com a better resource for users looking for Live wallpapers.
Feel free to contact us through PM, if you've got ideas or are just looking to help out.

This feature is in the works already and should be available in the next couple of days. We will be updating you all as soon as it's available.
Thank you everyone for your contributions and we really appreciate all those who shared issues with some of the wallpapers and others who have identified some nice Live wallpapers.
This one is inspired by the GNOME wallpaper, very nice too

Wow, that one is great! Simple yet elegant. Another example of a Live wallpaper that deserves more exposure...
Edit: Added 'Day of Ubuntu' wallpaper to the website and lots more! Try this one out, it's got tons of features: http://topandroidwallpapers.com/tdc-2-0-520/
Added:
'Sort by:' Rating (Top-Rated wallpapers) and Popularity (Most viewed wallpapers) as per popular request.
You can run this filter on the Homepage to work it on all Live wallpapers, whereas you can use it in individual categories to browse top-rated wallpapers in that particular category.
Need to rework titles, because it can be confusing if filter is applied or not. You can take a look at the URL for confirmation.
Saw this in a Nexus 7 review, it's very customizable too. The paid version seems even better.

I guess you'll never find one that looks the same because Playstation is a Sony 'feature', but there's this

It emulates the wave thing.
Hmm this seems strangely familiar to

Im not sure what you mean, do you mean how it looks etc, if so then a decompiler, baksmali etc would help, plenty of tutorials for that, if you mean by a specific location other than where you live its simply a case of settings and adding the citys you want to show and turn off auto location, id like to see more weather clock mods on here, the samsungs accuweather was modded to death but i dont see anything on here, things like some 25%, 50%, 100% transparent mods would be a nice start and also the size of it, the flip clock is my favourite but it takes up soo much space on the screen
I hope you manage to find what youre looking for, if you do create any modded versions give me a shout, id love to test them.
