Sony Xperia ion LT28H 4.0.4 ROM&Root

Sorry！My engilsh is poor.
1.This is LT28H ROM,use in china.Has been tested in lt28i,test is normal operation,have many improve.
2.Haven't root.
3.Ver 6.1.E.0.233
4.Flash this rom use flashtool.
5.From 2.3.7 update,no need to unlock and root.

update:
Flashed with no problems. I elected to keep all my data during the flash which made it unbearably slow after the process was complete. I let it continue to poop its diaper for a bit and things have gone back to normal. I think I accidentally left the wipe cache button clicked. oops. Overall it's pretty nice!

if you are rooted and flash 4.0.4, u will end up soft brick your device after the first time you turn off the phone on ICS. I have tested it. If you want ICS, make sure you flash back to stock first. this will prevent this happen.

DO NOT ROOT USING 2.3.7's way.
It will let you 28i shut down forever.
If you do it, unload and loading battery then flash a new FTF again.

I flashed it to my lt28at with no problems, so have at it.
For those having problems downloading: do a quick search in your engine of choice for "udown 115 download." You should find a link to their downloader app (Windows only, boo-hiss). Click all the buttons that are glowing blue and you'll be ready-to-roll. It's a very easy app to figure out even if you don't read Chinese. The big buttons do what you'd assume they do.

is only the "italian" value pack with a new baseband

What is the antutu benchmark score? Also when the phone was lock? notification icon place on a right? or center?

i'm really appreciate if someone can mirror its to another host.
i'm really have trouble with hotfile. i have try download more than 3 x, buts its always stuck on 75-90%, i'm tired of waiting time, so i'm really pissed off. :silly:
can you at least upload the baseband. just pulled out adsp.mbn and amss.mbn. thanks man.

its my first time to extract a baseband (ive never had to) so try it and tell me if it works so i can put it in the 1st post:fingers-crossed:
p.s. don't forget it shall be flashed as one package using ODIN :good:
1 last noob question, isnt the baseband only the amss.mbn, so wt's the adsp.mbn (its not included in the file i uploaded to u) ??

afaik adsp is adaptive digital signal processor. well you know its for controlling signal chip. so you should include this file.
amss is amplitude modulation signalling system. its for managing how to handle the signal carrier.
or whe can assume adsp like a driver/kernel and adsp is like the software/firmware.
to make md5 just simple extract those file then make a tar for those file using cygwin if you install tar packet for yours cygwin, or just use 7z or any compressor software that can make a tar.
and then just make md5 checksum using cygwin.
md5sum -t baseband.tar >> baseband.tar
mv baseband.tar baseband.tar.md5

i'm not really sure. its depend on our local network. i'm on borneo right now. and yes so far i felt an increase in the signal.
i'm not often use data connection, so i can't talk much.
just try yourself. give a shot at least for a weeks.
and you can switch back. to your previous baseband if you backup.
or you can get them here.
this folder contain DXLA2, DXLC1, DXLM3(DXLM2), XXLM8, XXLMB, XXLMD, XXLMG. all cwm flashable, so you can quick change wherever you are.

note: please do test zip file after you download, because i have network issue (it's failed a few times while uploading).

Page opens Just fine on Mobile, FireFox,IE, Chrome, and a few others works fine. If a False thing pops up just click continue For Some Reason Mcafee say its infected when its not and I`ve ONLY seen Mcafee do it.

The link works fine.. I just fixed it, My Domain got lost by godaddy so I had to make a new one this link should be working now go back to the first post and try again.
Any of my links just change the boxhost.co.uk to storagecow.eu and they should work

what do you mean by bricked? Its the same file downloaded from the given link. If you can extract the zip file successfully then it means the file isnt damaged. can you please give me more details?

I think that are different roms..
- miui_p6u06_3.10.11_kjqvk609mo_4.2.zip - I've installed this one and i just saw the Huawei logo for hours..
- miui_p6t00_3.10.11_kjqvk609mo_4.2.zip <- this worked

I just download via flashtool
It detected by flashtool and flashmode flawlessly

does it work. downloading from xperifirm and struck at 90%.

1- Wait, because I'll upload a working FTF in some hours. (Including US and TW firmwares)
2- Do the following:
On flash mode select the FTF on this thread and mark the options on "Exclude": TA (as you always need to mark) and "UNKNOWN". You're seeing this error because the file fwinfo.xml is inside the FTF he share. This file is that "Unknown" you need to exclude.

i'm sorry i dont understand what u mean "Exclude":TA , and there's no "UNKNOWN" option in that Exclude list... what am i suppose to exlucde from that menu there? some of the items like kernel and baseband seem to be necessary... any help?
