[Q] N7100 deos not start (no Recovery or Download)

I had rooted this my galaxy note 2 N7100 and was using CWM recovery and had tried many roms, the last working rom was Hawkish rom with Perseus Kernel from XDA developers
It was working perfect since first week of June then it started some lagging ang I had to restart it everytime it stops responding
so i decided to try another rom and flashed it with some (I dont remember it right now but i will update this in evening) ROM through sideload
everything went well but device went into bootlop
so i tried to wipe cache as well as user data still it didnt help
so desperately I formatted ext sdcard from the recovery (I did not had ext sdcard in the device)
and then it just went off without any message or anything
it doenst go to recovery or download mode ?? :crying::crying:
also I had replaced the display in January but i dont think its a problem of display since i tried start it up and then connected to PC and when i say adb devices it doesnt show up but I am not sure ?

ok this seems to be an SDS problem suggest you to go trough SDS Threads in this forum see if you could get some info on this ,.

:good:Thank you very much for your reply and I have gone throught the SDS post but i dont think it is SDS problem
I think its something to do with formatting the ext sdcard from recovery as untill then it was working fine
hopefully i can repair it with fixing bootloader but I am not sure how to do that if phone does not start
unfortunately since i have replaced a lacd digitizer i dont have warranty from samsung so for my device i hope its not SDS :fingers-crossed:

I have gone through that manual and I did all I could but still it didn't start up
expect the ANYWAY JIG thing since i didnt find the JIG anywhere online and was not sure how to connect all those cables shown in the picture
so desperately i had given it to repair shop and to my bad luck they dont know what is wrong with it
the only thing they told me is that the board (mother board) doesn't get power and they dont know the reason for that
now coming to repair the partition :
can it be because of partition or because of SDS ?
if its because of partition then at least i have some hopes
otherwise its a dead end
does anyone has any idea what can be the problem?

Did you try re flashing your stock recovery and then flashing the Stock ROM through ODIN pc ?

I cannot get into the download or recovery mode using key combinations:crying:
so if you have any other way to boot Note 2 in download mode other that Vol.Down+power+OK
please let me know

[Q] Is my phone bricked or could it be saved ?

I flashed a rom to my device from needrom website. It was a custom rom based on the latest test version b116 with samsung s4 UI. After the device rebooted itself the vibration started and never stopped since then. .The phone booted but screen is used upside down I mean for the button at the bottom you need to touch at the top of the screen etc. I tried updating with official b111 using sdcard but it doesnt work. The recovery starts but it fails everytime ı try it. I just bought the phone 3 days ago and now ı can not use it anymore it is very annoying. Can anyone please help me ??

It is not a s4 rom. ıt is just a customized rom based on original p6 rom. ıf you can not help me please do not "mess up" the forum. ı am lookin for someone who can help me !!!

If the ROM is based on B116, try putting the official B116 firmware on your SD-card (via another phone, flashcard reader, whatever) and try reflashing the phone that way. Reflashing obviously done by holding volume UP + DOWN keys pressed, turning the phone on while keeping UP and DOWN pressed, and letting the phone force-flash that firmware.

am not messing up nothing .. u messed up your phone .. why u not just satisfied what u got ..
do u have recovery in the phone ? u need to copy official rom and flash it via cwm ..

right now ı am downloading b116 but i think it will take more than 2 hours maybe because of the overload on the server it is being downloaded. ı was gonna try that but ı am not sure if it works but ı will try. unfortunately I don't have cwm installed on the device. and in the recovery mode ı can not do anything with the buttons

btw thank you so much Bakpoeder for you help. ı will definitely let u know about if it works . now ı am waiting for the download to be finished. and the problem ı faced while trying to update with a lower version is that even though ı put the update package into dload folder in sdcard it says no update package is it possible if the device can not read the sdcard ?

if u doing it via recovery u need zip file i suppose .

Thank u guys for ur help. ı think ı will try to flash/update it tomorrow because the download speed is very slow. ı will let u know if any of these method works. btw if there is anyone with a different idea ı would appreciate it. ıf none of these method work ı think ı will have to go to service center

ı have a big problem now
ı tried to apply update from sdcard but the phone doesn't recognize the sdcard. and now ı have another problem ı can not recharge the battery ı will go to service center hopefully they fix the device

Hi there what hapend with your P6 mate??
i have the same prob here.. i try to put new firmware and at 50% of updating the phone shutdown and now when i turn it on just only vibrates all the time and the touchscreen doesn't works only the side buttons
i tryied to install new firmware ( P6_firmware(P6-U06,Android_4.2,Emtion_UI,V100R001C00B111,Nornal,05011RJP) but when i press update from sd card i cant see what inside...
anyone help?

You should send it to the service center. I tried everything but ı couldn't fix it. Now the device is in the service cervice it's been couple of days and still waiting. I hope the warranty covers it :crying:

Hey!
Was the phone rooted? Did you messed with it? If yes, with what? You can try to flash a stock FW with Odin and see if this solves your issue. If not, you might wanna get your phone to a service. But I really think it's not the case. If you can get in Download mode, you can fix it. Read more here.

Cannot get it to download mate

Samsung Note N7100 PIT File
Good Day !
I have a Samsung Note N7100 with a strange problem.
I did a hard reset on it and it started acting up.
Now, it cannot go into RECOVERY Mode ( VOLUME UP+ HOME BUTTON + POWER BOTTON )
When i try to turn it into Recovery Mode , the Display comes with FLICKERS .
Moreso, when it is turned on , it comes on with Flickering Display.
But it does go into DOWNLOAD MODE without problems.
I have tried flashing it with different ODIN Versions and FIRMWARES downloaded here on XDA and Samobile but di not help. Error Message : No Partition Files Found .
Basically , i would appreciate it if i can have a link to download a PARTITION File for Note N7100 or any Professional Advice .

Need urgent help.. Gt-i9082 is flashing cwm recovery

Hey tech geniuses,
Need urgent help as i suppose to be onboard in few days n then i would not b able to root my phone...
I want to root my GT-I9082...AND IL i tried to do it by following each and every step thorouglly as it told in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2294734 this thread....
When i tried to flash CWM reovery by odin....after slecting cwm.tar file n clicking start it is giving RESET instead of giving PASS in green box...and my phone is rebooting....after thn when i tried to boot into recovery mode it is booting me into stock recovery instead of booting into cwm .....what the heck is this...plzzz help me...as i wnt to root my phone badly....

One more thing as i think it is important to tell u...tht ...in downloading mode my friend's grand has evry thing in white whereas in mine it is sumhing in red...i m describing it...in my downloading mode it is like that

That is just eMMC version it is showing no need to worry about it

eMMMC firm version?.....if there is no problm cos of it thn why CWM is not flashing in my cell...
If it can....then how would I suppose to flash it and root my cell.....

Stll the same bro.....not able to boot into recovery mod....i think last option for me is to change my cell as it csnt be rooted...
I google it which results me that lot of people hav tha emmc bug n not able to root....n there is no fix available anywhere...i trued to downgrade to 4.1.2 but in this still the same as after clicking start at last it gives reset option again instead of giving pass:crying::crying:

PASS will appear after few minutes of RESET appearance!

Yeah i did as u said....but after giving pass also....phone is not booting into recovery mode....as it is getting on.....

This happens because during boot the stock firmware is replacing your custom recovery with the stock one the only method to avoid this is to stop your phone from rebooting after flashing CWM...
As u see the reset command on ur odin screen and ur phone begins to restart just prevent ur phone from restarting by removing your phones battery immediately....... as u see galaxy grand duos logo just remove the battery re-insert it and start your phone by pressing volume up+home+power button this will lead u to custom recovery...
