how to recovery e975 if "kdz not work" - LG Optimus G (International)

Hi, this is my mini guide to recovery in original lg e975... If any method does not work then use this!!
I have test it on my lg e975 bricked thanks twp recovery e970 !!! kdz not working ... error!!!
1- buy this cable to set usb 910k or similar cable important is "mode 910k"(http://www.ebay.com/itm/4in1-Micro-...999-P990-P970-flash-unlock-MORE-/261019033382)
2- download LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL from http://www.lg.com/sg/support-mobile/lg-Optimus-G-LG-E975
3- shutdown phone
4- connect cable to 910k at phone
5- start lg support tool and install driver
6- you will see that lg support tool has found your phone
7- go in support > Emergency & recovery mode> write your imei and press check (wait 1 minute after "OK" to start upgrade tool) upgrade process is 10-15 minutes
7-after upgrade is finished it restart phone automatically
If you have change partition after update could stuck on logo lg ... how to fix it:
- shutdown phone and press hold key volume- and power for 15s and it reset software-
Sorry my bad english!!!!!!!

I have done these steps with the regular cable that came with my phone lol. No special cable needed.
you can get into the flash mode by holding down vol up and vol down while connecting it to USB.

If you can enter download mode, you can use KDZ updater, without any problems. LG mobile tool will work only on stock rom.If you are on custom rom,no luck with it.
Besides, with kdz updater you don't have to wait everytime to download the KDZ from lg server, you can use local image.
But if you can't enter download mode, the only way is the JTAG.

But if I have problems to flash with kdz and yet also "LG support tool", but I can get into download mode, how can I fix it?
I have the animated LG logo bootloop after trying to flash via kdz with CM11 installed ...
G support tool gets stuck at 15, but unplugging the USB cable from e975 and reattaching it, the procedure is completed, but say me: Battery level low even though I have 100%. Why?
Bye, Thanks

KDZ updater not working
I had TWRP 3.0.0 then i tried to flash lower version i think it is TWRP2.5.6, after i flashed it i restarted and went to recovery mode, but there was no recovery mode, only black screen... I tried with KDZ updater to flash stock rom V10H but after KDZ extracts files, connect to phone, says that its starting to s/w upgrade and my phone restarts and goes to fastboot mode, and KDZ updater stays like that, doesn't do anything, I tried it on two different computers, Win 10 and Win XP.. I still have my software on (ubuntu touch by mordesku) but i want to go back to CWM. Can somebody help me?

Charge battery to about 75%. Disconnect cable from anything. Make sure the phone is turned off and full computer installed drivers for your devices. Press both volume keys at the same time (Press Volume - and Volume +). Connect cable with Computer. On screen of phone will be display logo: DOWNLOAD MODE. done.
Run Flash Tool or KDZ Tool, then flash file ROM do you want. Good luck!
Power + volume down will get you the LG factory reset.

Solution for Hard Bricked LG G4 (9008)

Hi guys,
Some people including me faced Hard brick issue with LG G4, which has now two solutions. the first is temporary, i discovered it and it involves using an SD card flashed with Original EMMC dump ( i tested it with H815 ands H811) , the second needs advanced hardware, equipment and soldering skills ( JTAG) .
The solution that i want to explore is trying to revive the phone with the SD card.

The H811 dump that i made has TWRP recovery and unlocked bootlloader, so if someone know how to help that would be awesome.
How ???, its very simple. I dont have very good UNIX architecture skills , but if the SoC successfully booted from the SD card. We could see if it detects the EMMC memory ( with parted or with LS command). I personally Tried to brow /dev/block directory from TWRP i hoped to find MMCBLK1 or something but that was unsuccessful , im pretty sure the TWRP or the Soc Does not mount it automatically .
I really dont know How , but i'm very Sure that there is a Solution headed that way , So if some one is Good with Unix architecture and can find a way to soft Flash the EMMC from TWRP ( installed in the SD card ) it would be very Nice
hi,i tried the sd card method...it boots but immediately gives me secure boot error (1006).
i have an h815 bl locked

You can fix fastboot mode with this way.
1. First you need to download stock rom that your phone supported. extract laf.img file from rom and copy it into fastboot directory
2. download LG Flash Tool and make it ready
3. open flash tool and load firmware and dll that support your model.
open command prompt and make sure you in fastboot directory where the fastboot and related files are stored.
Run following commands.
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase laf
fastboot flash laf laf.img

lol, when you see a screen with 0% and a usb connected image, that mean your battery dead
why not just try to charge your phone? or replace a battery?

Hello, well after what happened I thought the same and went to buy another battery and when they tried it did not work, I repeat, not fastboot, no logo, no recovery, only a small vibration without screen, it is not detected by the PC in any of its modes as dead, the detail is that this happened after restarting when I had flashed bootloader N, rom V30, magiistic, I gave it restart and it did not turn on again, so I discard that it is hardware .
I think the problem was that I flashed the bootloader with full aboot, that gave me hardbrick I was told in a forum in Spanish I leave the link I hope you help me thanks
https://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1397519 use this method to unlock the bootloader
Hey MichaelCV
I have exactly the same problem with my LG G4 H815p. I was running [ROM][H815] H-ROM G4 NOUGAT [v29a] _ LG G4. The phone was up and running and last night I flashed the "LG-H815_29a_Modem_and_Bootloader.zip" to try resolve an issue I was having with the mobile data indicator not showing. I flashed the zip in TWRP, rebooted the phone and now it is bricked. I have exactly the same symptoms as you. Windows and FWUL does not see the phone, no matter what combination of keypressed etc that I try.
Lets hope we find a solution here for it.
Chris

You're still soft bricked, just force your device into download mode and use LG Flash Tool to return back to stock and start again.

If I remember correctly (please check threads here, it's been a long time since I've used this device, so memories are fading), download mode is activated when you press Volume Up (or both of volume buttons) and insert USB cable. I know that E98x has some strange button sequences, like rebooting to recovery is a two step operation (Volume Up + Power until navbar blinks, then power button twice, that's the only way mine wanted to boot into recovery), so please check around.
As far as USB connection issues, don't use USB3+ ports and if you're on Windows 8.1+ and later, run with Administrator privileges. I never experienced that one (used LGFlashTools from inside VirtualBox running Win XP for all my needs, I'm not a Windows user), so can't really help much but forums are full with explanations how.

[HELP] V500 stuck in download mode, LG Flash tool gets stuck at 4%

Hello xda
So I decided it was time to have some fun with my good old v500 and get rid of the annoying kitkat limitations.
I installed twrp recovery and flashed AOSP 7.1 which looked great but after some days of use I started getting some serious glitches in wireless and decided to go back to something lg-made
So I downloaded the korean v50030a kdz, got in download mode and then when I run LG update tool it got stuck at 4%
So I said ok and tried to reboot the phone, but after reboot it goes every time to download mode.
Then my adventure starts, I read that the proper way to get out of download mode is while pressing power button to plug the micro usb.
This didnt work for me no matter if I tried switching the phone off first (holding power for 10secs to go off, then power button and then plug micro usb) or while it was on (showing the download mode logo) pressing the power and plugging the micro usb.
I tried using the official LGMobile support tool to download the official kdz (20F kitkat version / upgrade recovery) it also gets stuck at 4% when trying to install the kdz,
I tried using the LG flash tool to install it myself again no luck
I tried the old ways with the manual trick editing the hosts file and running the http server to send the v30 kdz to the update tool, again it got stuck at 4%
I changed the COM port to 47 for the LGE AndroidNet USB serial port -> this seemed to make read phone information work once but no luck with getting past 4%
So I have run out of ideas. Any help is greatly appreciated
I have found a solution by downloading and reinstalling the driver from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190 while having connected the gpad in the pc
Then opened device manager in windows and changed from COM4 to COM41 the LGE device under Ports (COM &LPT ) section
Then used the official 20F rom and Normal flash / CDMA mode :good:
I believe that the problem was in the drivers but I am not sure, I hope the above information will help others as well
for what is worth, I tried to flash 30a again using the same method as above and got again stuck at download mode LOL
I connected the usb cable to a different port in the PC and installing 30a worked
Thats it for my gpad, too much adventure for it

lg g4 h815 - bricked... need help and ideas.

my phone is a lg g4 h815.
tried to flash lineage, i ****ed up with twrp and i think i accidently wiped everything.
the phone starts fine, blue led is blinking, lg logo comes on, then nothing happens.
i have tried:
- factory reset: pressed yes to both, phone boots again, same ****.
- download mode: turned off phone, pressed vol up then usb cable in - download mode does not start.
- adb devices do not see the phone, but it is in windows devices, under ports, com4.
- i have installed the lg usb driver.
tools used:
- lg up: says unknown model. wont let me do anything.
- lg bridge: cant connect to the phone.
- lg mobile support tool: after downloading the image, it wont upload it to the phone. says control pc status (and yes, my pc works fine!)
- lg flashtool 2014: says required info cannot be found. contact system administrator. i have downloaded a kdz image.
any ideas? exchanging the motherboard is a 150$ job, which i'm unsure i'm willing to spend on a 1½ yr old phone.
thanks in advance.
i found the solution.
1) do a factory reset. press yes and yes. turn off phone, and hold vol up down, so you will boot into download mode immediately afterwards factory reset.
2) now the phone says firmware update.
3) open up LG UP, latest version. now the phone is recognized (mine as h81520g).
4) download a .kdz image, that matches the version LG UP specify (in my case, h18520g). you can find official .kdz images at www.lg-firmwares.com - find one, that matches your country and model.
5) flash with LG UP (click on 'upgrade' for .kdz to become available, and then choose your .kdz image).
hope this can be of some help.
