Disconnected Because Service Is Unavailable. - HTC One X

Hey guys, I've flashed CM 10.1 Nightlies mod today then installed gapps package, went to home screen to set up google account, unfortunately I dont have a working wifi connection in my home, so I use 1GB Mobile Data plan from my cellphone provider, I set up my mobile data account but still it says disconnected because mobile data is unavailable, I thought it's a ROM issue, so I downgraded to 4.1.1 Blade Rom with Sense 5, but still it shows the same problem, I'm going crazy here as I cannot setup my google account. What possibly could've gone wrong?
PS: There is no USB Internet Passthrough in android 4.2.2 ( Cyanogenmod 10.1) :|

Flashed boot.img?
If not do this:
Go into hboot by holding power + volume down until you reach bootloader
Then go into fastboot (press power button)
Then extract the boot.img from your current rom.zip
Put it in your fastboot folder and type the following command in cmd:
'fastboot flash boot boot.img' (no qoutes)
Press enter. Then type this:
'fastboot erase cache'
Reboot and it should be working
Press thanks if this worked!

Hey thanks for the reply, there's a slight problem, before my phone goes to fastboot mode, it gives a bunch of errors, it says Failed to open USB master mode....
EDIT: Did accordingly as you said but doesn't work, same problem. Also did you mean to install a fresh rom again? or just re do those steps.. I only redone the steps but not installed the rom.

Just do those steps, you shouldn't need to reflash rom unless you flashed modules for a different kernel?
What hboot do you have.
And when you were in bootloader, did you enter fastboot and did any errors come up in CMD?

nope kernel is 3.1.10ncx_314-g24718f8-dirty root @n3ocort3x-tuxbook # 148 SMP PREEMPT
and when starting the bootloader, the error of Failed to open usb in master mode comes up, then it starts normally to HBOOT, then After I choose fastboot the same error comes, but it goes away and comes Fastboot USB

Those "errors" are normal, its because the usb cable is connected.
I think your phone is a bit of a mess now. Restart from scratch
1: flash the boot.img from the rom you want to install
2: perform a full wipe in recovery
- factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- advanced - wipe dalvik cache
- mounts & storage - format cache,data,system
3: install the rom.zip

did accordingly to what you said, but still it didn't work, also flashed the new rom "insertcoin's (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1588669) but no help (((((((
ps: i didn't flashed the kernel, I'm confused which kernel should I install, also I don't know how to flash kernels ....
also, after wiping cache partition, dalvik, mounts and storage, my previous files in the phone(like all the folders) were still there... :|

BUMP!
Flashed a kernel that day ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136731 ) phone battery life seeems to be great but my data service problem is still there, I have provided the screeenshots below, please have a look, where am I going wrong?!
I have followed these steps while installing the Kernel:
Spoiler: Install Process
Install modules from recovery (Install the zip)
Wipe dalvik cache. Yes, it's important, the versions could have some binary level differencies (from different compiler options) which can lead to unknown behaviour with old dalvik code.
Erase fastboot cache
Flash kernel image with fastboot
If you have problems with some functions not working on your ROM, then repack. Otherwise it's not needed.

Try configuring apn manually

[Q] "Android" Logo Bootloop

Yesterday I wanted to flash the new CWM (5.8.4.0) but I accidentally flash using fastboot boot boot.img
Then it kept rebooting into recovery
After panicking a few times, I used Hasoon2000's allinonekit to flash stock recovery, stock kernel, relocked and reunlocked bootloader, factory reset through hboot.
Now im in a bootloop but instead of the usual htc with beats that i usually get, a simple logo featuring the word "android" is all that showed up on my screen. Sometime when I restart it would show a harddisk or something like that with a green refresh logo. In cwm my phone can't detect my sd so I can't flash my nandroid backup.
Can someone help this noob
Boot into fastboot.
First turn on the phone.
Hold both Power and Volume Down until the screen turns black, after two seconds release the power button only, it should boot you into fastboot, you can also try just holding both buttons, not sure about that so if it won't boot into fastboot try both ways!
When it boots into fastboot, open up command prompt and execute the command fastboot erase cache, this should make you able to boot into recovery again.
Good luck!
I can access recovery now. The problem now is the android bootloops

Do you have any ROMS on your SDCard?
If you do, follow these steps please!
First of all, find the boot.img of the ROM you have on your SDCard, do this by downloading the ROM to your computer again and extracting the boot.img or using franco's or whatever other one there is.
Put the boot.img into the directory where your fastboot.exe is located, boot back into Fastboot and execute the following commands, fastboot flash boot boot.img and then fastboot erase cache.
Boot into recovery from fastboot, Wipe Data -> Wipe Cache, browse for the ROM and flash it, this should fix your phone!
I was running ARHD 6.1.1 before. but like I said in CWM it cant detect my sd,
it says there is no such file. any ideas?

Yes, flash this CWM.
http://lh.rs/Zs6RYrc8m7Os
Put phone into Fastboot and run following commands.
fastboot flash recovery r1--recovery-clockwork-touch-endeavoru.img
fastboot erase cache
Boot into recovery see if it recognizes the SD.
flashed that recovery, cleared the cache
when I went into recovery i chose zip from sdcard but then no files found
in Hboot it said SD checking...
failed to open usb master mode
failed to open usb master mode
only then would it show the options:
fastboot
recovery
factory reset
simlock
showbarcode

what is your recovery version? 5.8.4.0?
If you flash the latest recovery 5.8.4.0, then you should be able to view your SD Card and also infact,
if you go to ADVANCED Mode in the latest Recovery, connect the USB, it will detect your PC. Transfer the required files.
You have recovery now, try mounting the SD Card. Make sure you have enough charge ( >50%)
Please do not panic!
I will try that. Although i don't know how much battery I have left cause it suddenly turns on and bootloops after I charge for a particular amount of time
did you fix your phone now? if you fix pls mail [email protected] me cos we have same problem im using HOX stock " android logo "
even i put file on cwm 5.8.4.0 SD failed open master mode

[Q] I think i Bricked my device

I seemed to have bricked my device......... the phone just seems to hang on the white HTC screen.. I am very new to all this so please help with even the most basic and obvious steps.
Events that led to this:
Last night i unlocked and rooted my phone using clockwork recovery and then installed superSU. All was fine then.
I installed Nanobackup and took the backup as suggested.
then later today, after reading a lot i decided to try CYANOGENMOD'S root and then it all statred to fall apart.......
the phone never booted after that. first it used to get stuck on CYNOGENMOD's startup screen and it never moved forward. after reading some more I realised that i needed to update the BOOT.IMG file along with it which i missed. after this also nothing was happening.
I was thanking my stars that i took a complete back up and tried to restore it..... but as my luck would have it that also did not work.
Now i am stuck with a white boot up screen with the HTC logo on it. I can still connect to fastboot....... PLease help......Very desparate.
Thanks..... all and any help is appreciated.
flash the boot.img wich came with your rom then "fastboot erase cache" + go to recovery then wipe data + cache + dalvik cache then your good to go

[Q] Forgot to install ROM before the custom recovery.

I was following this guide with the intention of installing Cyanogenmod on to my HTC One X (international version), and I got as far as the Flashing a ROM section, towards the bottom, when I reached step 5, which reads "Make sure you already have your shiny new ROM .zip on your internal memory as you cannot enable mass storage in the current recovery builds."
At this point I realised I had not done this, and I have no way of putting the ROM onto the phone. Is there anything I can do, or do I have to start from scratch, and if so, how do I do that?
I'm following this guide regarding installing the ROM, but is there a better one? That guy cannot spell.
I also have this thread open for CM10.1, but it's quite confusing. Should I be downloading the following?: Beta 7 (pure JB vendor): http://d-h.st/fo4 - Kernel 3.1.10 included.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, and "backed up." I don't know what I've backed up, but I've backed up something. I have not wiped anything, and I still appear to have a functional phone.
you probably backed up the stock rom however to push the rom onto your phone you should go into recovery and mount USB and the put the rom onto the sdcard that's it...

You can mount it inside the recovery as a diskdrive and yes you need that cm10.1 + gapps if you want them too. Mount it and copy the rom and gapps to it
Here is a small tut i wrote earlier. ...
This counts for recovery cwm 5.8.4.0 (otherwise a full wipe in any other recovery must be done)
In recovery
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Advanced - wipe dalvik cache
Mounts and storage - format cache, data, system
Remove the cable to the pc before installing the rom !
Then install CM10.1 after that GAPPS.....DO NOT REBOOT
Reconnect the cable and ......
type in the fastboot command window
Adb reboot bootloader
Fastboot erase cache
Fastboot flash boot boot.img (the file from the rom)
Fastboot erase cache
Fastboot reboot

Ok, once this gapps is downloaded I am good to go I think. If I brick it I can just break it and claim it on the insurance. Although this phone is brand new because my old one drowned a couple weeks ago, so they mightn't like two claims in such quick succession.

fastboot mode: power off the phone, power+vol down, select fastboot and press power, you're done
You can go in the bootloader first and flash the boot.img. I described it the other way around because you end with a cache erase to avoid boot problems (got this from the thread itself)
Basically it comes down to this
You put the phone in the bootloader and you see a red text that says "fastboot usb"
At that point you flash the boot.img from the mac to the phone.
Then you unhook the cable and do the rest of the guide

[Q] I think I've bricked my phone completely

Hello, I was flashing the latest version of ViperX and it wouldn't boot so I decided to reinstall. After reinstalling I updated my hboot to the latest version and was told to erase everything such as cache, system, dalvik etc. It deleted my backups, I have lost ClockWorkMod on my phone and ADB wont detect it. I also have no rom on my phone as of now, I think I could fix it if I could get ADB to detect the phone. When I plug my phone into the computer it detects it as a HTC but when I type "adb devices" I get nothing coming up
Could someone suggest something to fix it?
Hold your volume - and the power button together until you see the bootloader !
Is the bootloader unlocked ? And what version do you have now ?
Unlock the bootloader if its relocked. Put the unlock code.bin file in the fastboot folder and flash it
Fastboot flash unlocktoken unlock_code.bin
Download this file and place it in your fastboot folder, rename it to recovery.img and flash it

Well I'm getting there.
I've reinstalled CWM and I'm looking to install the ROM now but it has been deleted from my SD card, either that or my sd isn't working.
Is there a way to access my sd card without a ROM Wmaybe install and flash without using the "choose zip from sdcard" option?
When I press "choose zip from sdcard" it says "No files found."
What do I do now?

Factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Advanced - wipe dalvik cache
Mounts & storage - format cache, system, data
Then install the rom.....do not reboot if you did not flash the boot.img
Type in the commond prompt

[Q] [Help?] Huawei p6 softbrick (rooted/TWRP, need to transfer ROM)

Hi guys,
I would really appreciate any help getting out of this pickle (my first time trying to install a ROM).
Here's the situation:
- Running a Huawei P6-C00 Chinese phone
- Was interested in trying a custom ROM (e.g. CleanRom by @surdu_petru) in order to enable Google Apps
- Updated normally to B120 CN as instructed
- Rooted (using Root Wizard)
- Installed customer recovery (TWRP 2.6.3.3)
- Started flash process including advanced wipe in TWRP... wiped system, cache, davlik, etc... :crying:
- Realized that I didn't have the ROM .zip copied to the phone yet
Currently, I'm able to boot into TWRP but cannot connect using adb for sideload (TWRP just says starting sideload but never connects). What do you guys recommend? I don't have a backup of any working ROM or the stock image.
Is there a way to initiate a "standard" restore since I wiped all the caches? ...
Are there some tricks to getting ADB running so I can try to sideload the ROM again? ...
P6-C00 does not have an SD card, but is it possible to load the ROM onto a USB and read it from TWRP?
Thanks for any help!
Did u try connecting to adb?

Hi Taaeem,
Thanks for the hint. I read some posts on fastboot and tried the following, but could not get into fastboot mode.
Methods I tried
- Power off phone and then power on while holding vol-down button
- Select Reboot -> System option from TWRP, while holding volume down
- Select Reboot -> Bootloader option from TWRP
From what I understand, fastboot mode should be run from the /boot partition, which I didn't wipe. So any ideas how I can get into fastboot mode?
Thanks again!
Okay, I confirmed that I have at least some kind of fastboot access because I tried "fastboot reboot-bootloader" from command prompt on my PC, and it rebooted the phone (but the phone stayed on boot logo).
- Next time I get fastboot, should I run "fastboot flash [partition] [ROM-file.zip]"?
- If so, what partition should I specify? I'm confused about where this command will send the ROM file, and if so how do I find it from TWRP later on in order to install it?
Thank you!
One more update:
- Even though I'm stuck at boot logo when I try to enter fastboot mode, it looks like there is a somewhat working fastboot connection. I tried running "fastboot flash [partition] ROM.zip" but it fails after 16s ("remote: flash write failure" or "remote: partition does not exist"). I tried flashing to cache / data / system
Should I try @N!ELS huawei p6 suggestion of accessing by Linux? (I don't have one nearby) or am I using fastboot wrong?
Thanks!!
Also:
- I noticed that when I boot into TWRP the device shows as "..." in my system tray USB devices list.
- When I try to boot into fastboot mode, the device shows as "Android Sooner Single ADB Interface" (but phone is still stuck on boot logo)
- However I'm still not able to connect using ADB .. shows "error: device not found" in all cases)
- Finally, after powering off the phone does show the stock charging animation, which gives me hope that this can still be saved :crying:

fastboot mode on the P6 doesn't have any kind of ui for fastboot, so it stays on the boot logo, fastboot should work fine.
You could always find an USB OTG cable and connect a FAT32 partitioned mem stick with the .zip on it, TWRP allows flashing from USB memory as far as I know
You are definetely not out of hope, but im not sure about the compability of P6-U06 roms with the C00 variant.

Obviously you can't flash the whole zip file to every partition, infact you can't flash a .zip at all, atleast not in fastboot mode, .img extension is used. So don't try flashing the rom manually via fastboot, since you have a high risk of actually bricking the device, if not in the right hands.
Also when booted into TWRP, try "adb devices" in the cmd see if anything shows up.

Okay that's good when you are stuck at the logo and you can see your device at your PC you are in fastboot mode, from here you can work with fastboot commands NOT with ADB that will not work. Anyway isn't there a option in TWRP where you can mount your device to USB when that work you can just copy the files on your phone without to go with fastboot. When that don't work you must try to extract the .zip from the ROM you want to install and flash every image with fastboot I think that should work.

Okay so now I'm a bit paranoid about hard-bricking the device, and would rather not try my luck on a ROM that isn't approved for the P6-C00, haha...
At this point I just want to get a working OS installed (restore to the default for P6-C00 phone, even), and then maybe try to safely enable Google Apps. Any suggestions on how I can get this restored?
- I think the device came with a USB cable that is OTG.
- Seems like fastboot is also working, even though "fastboot getvar xxx" returns nothing useful
- ADB does not work while booted into TWRP (can't run shell, sideload, or list devices)

Download this rom for example https://disk.yandex.com/public/?hash=bhDlIAc5AqKh4RAB2IdatPdEfYVI9FH/Zky/UTGcH3M=
Extract the .z7 and run the flash_all.bat, this scripts flashes the rom via fastboot and you should get your device back up and running again. And from there you can update to a newer firmware version without problems.
If the bat doesn't work try this:
boot to fastboot
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot reboot recovery
Wipe cache and dalvik cache in twrp

Thanks, tauio111! That worked and I now have a working phone again :victory:
I'm going to be a bit more careful about how to enable Google Apps... this is too much stress during the workweek haha.
Later on what do you think my best option would be?
- Wait for a confirmed easy to install ROM for P6-C00 that supports Google Apps
- Some other way to enable Google Apps with the standard firmware, since I am rooted?
Thanks

Thanks @tauio111 and everyone else who helped debug this.
I flashed stock recovery, updated official firmware to B120, re-flashed TWRP, flashed gapps, and now have a working phone with Gmail and Play Store!! :silly:

Heya Tauio111, I'm having the same problem as onetree and I've been frying my mind over this for the past 4 days before I came across your solution. I found that your link is no longer working, may I ask what that ROM is and where else I may find it? Thanks!

A way that may help (i've done it with boot&recovery images). Using this tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454 , might give you the *.img files necesary for flashing the stock rom through fast boot. All you need is to follow the instructions on the tool and have a stock rom (update.app file type), and some knowledge on how to use the fastboot.
Hi Guys,
I kinda did the same thing here.
I accidently wiped my system with TWRP v2.6.3.7
I also have a huawei ascend p6 u06
I didn't realize i never copied a rom to my device so i don't know how to install.
I can't seem to be able to use adb or fastboot and my device is not picked up by windows (8.1), it just says removable disk in my computer.
and under device manager it says P6-U06 under unknown devices.
I have tried to install a bunch of different drivers to attempt something but no luck.
Please help me.
