I'm new to custom ROMs and stuff so be patient with me. I installed a ROM on my One V after rooting it and followed the normal steps but I have problems with rebooting the phone (it keeps showing the boot screen). I tried to access the bootloader (VolDown + Power) but the phone just reboots. Then I tried plugging in the USB and rebooting, but it brings me to CWM Recovery instead of bootloader. Now I can't flash stuff to fix the problem, what could have went wrong and what can I do at this point in time? Thanks.
Connect to the computer and type in cmd adb reboot bootloader

hi,
I had a bricked device (USB and SD unmount)
I resolved the "brick" but now I can not instal rom from Rom Manager or from recovery
Rom manager is not puting device to recovery at all, I go throu all steps and when it says to push OK to go recovery nothing hapends
Eny thoughts on this
Try booting into recovery manually, see what happens. That is by powering of the phone and using the vol down and power button.

Tried but pc is not recognizinh it.
... is it posible that it got unrooted?

Resolved - done a trick with file "update" in rooting procedure, packed recovery image in it and flashed it from recovery (when in triangle screen press vol up and power)
After that flashed new rom and now everithing works as charm - well usb sync is not but I do not need it

you should download CWM touch 5.8.4.0. If you boot into HBOOT then fastboot from there, you can flash CWM via fastboot
the command will be
Code:
fastboot flash recovery xxxxxxxx.zip
where xxxxxx is the name of the CWM file
after this is flashed you should be fine booting into recovery

K just double checking you are holding volume down + power button for quite a while and the HTC boot screen is in a multiple bootloop?
If yes then you could always try flashing the normal CWM recovery via rom manager (non touch version, 4.x.x.x if i remember correctly). if that says falsh complete try booting cwm from there?
I can't find the rom manager any where

replose cant get into bootloader so cant use fastboot at the moment.
Have you tried booting into bootloader via holding the power button > reboot > bootloader through ARHD?
I only try by holding the power button and the volume down key at the same time which atmosphere classes the phone completely and turns off the led if I'm charging

It works now, figured out that I had to untick the fast boot option in in settings

Problem-1) My pc doesnot recognize my device in fastboot mode when connected via USB in fastboot mode. It shows fastbootusb in the screen though. I am tired of searching for the solution but remained unsuccessful.
Problem-2) in the installation tutorial of evrery kernel it says to flash bootimg. Which bootimg should I flash? If The kernel comes with modules what do do with the modules. How to install the kernel which has modules?
Please help.

If recovery says fastbootusb that means its detected already. It won't show up as a device on your PC, and only accessible through adb commands.
boot.img is usually provided in the the thread, or you can choose your kernel of choice. Install then boot.img through recovery while in fastbootusb mode, then enter Recovery and flash the modules that you downloaded with the boot.img
Just follow the guides on here, it's been covered before

I had trouble with recognizing phone too. But it works if you use the original cable that came with the phone. Try that!

I was installing a font Via Font Installer, I was installed MyriadWebPro.ttf. I've installed numerous fonts before, and after installing this one, the phone doesn't fully boot. What do I mean by fully boot? It turns on, the HTC logo, virgin mobile logo, and then HTC and Beats Logo, and it stays there. The LED indicator still works when its off. I have the CMDA One V, if that helps in anyway.
Anyone know what's wrong?

Sorry I was out. Hold power for 10 seconds, your phone will shut down. Then press volume - and power until fastboot screen appears. Then you flash the kernel. But you have to be rooted

Get into fastboot then on the pc put the kernel in fastboot folder, open cmd, locate fastboot folder, type fastboot devices just to be sure it is connected, and if it gives you an answer, type fastboot flash boot name of kernel.img

So my suggestion is: flash a recovery like philz 5.15.9 via fastboot, enter recovery, mount the phone as external mass storage, copy there the zip of a rom, wipe data to install new rom, reboot to bootloader, flash boot.img from the rom via fastboot (erase cache before and after flashing boot.img) then enter recovery flash the rom zip and choose wipe in aroma... Then should be ok... Ask here for further infos
