first to say hello, i'm new on this forum... Greetings from Croatia!
Let's get to the problem.. I just bought GS3 and i tried to upgrade it to jelly bean 4.2.2 unofficial version...
When i have done it i realise that jb is some arap version and it stuck all the time.... i'm not happy and i just wanna know how to downgrade it to my stock version but i dont know on wich carrier my s3 is :// i bought it from ads newspaper here in Croatia so i didnt get any papers from the phone...
please help someone....

Ok, the russian link is wrong, delete it, but the other JG6 points to I9000 which is the Galaxy S

@SamsungFirmware it is EU one. No idea why JM instead of JG... PDA is JM1, previous was JG6. Modem is JG6, with most of fixes there.

First post is pointing to a i9000 firmware so it's possible but I'm not flashing a firmware I know nothing about.

What is the difference between a telus desire HD and a htc desire hd? Are they the same?
How do i check if my phone version is eligible for rooting ?
What is a ROM ?
They are not the same.
Telus Desire HD is from Canada.
Both the Telus Desire HD and European Desire HD can be rooted.
A ROM is a essentially a customized version of Android that differs from the stock ROM that comes with your phone.
Heres a tip, do a search for Telus in Q&A and in Development section and you'll find most, if not all your answers after this.

Telus is a service provider. Like Rogers, Bell, Orange, etc. If you got your phone from Singapore, there's no possible way for it to be a Telus phone unless the person you bought it from imported the DHD from Canada and sold it back to you.
as someone had mentioned, telus DHD is from canada. yours definitely is the general htc set.

The telus version is hspa and is more like the inspire 4g

For your info, i did read up. I just dont understand the terms that are used. There are so many things, and as i said, i'm really new to android phone and system.. And i'm not really a technical guy, so i really need help from you guys.

Cosmetics like splash, bootup, bootdown.
Sense or no-sense,
different Overclock speed/capability.
And some have different apps. (Modaco with Wavesecure).

You can check your version from Settings —> About Phone —> Firmware Version.

there should be instruction included in the thread itself
well you know.. first of all take out eveything in your room.. then clean and rearrange it. there, you've changed it. if you wanna paint, I'd reccommend you put newspaper on the floors.. nobody likes a mess.
Search in this forum there are some roms for "all" phones based on Android and more...now i have in my Samsung Ace the rom Glsmt v2.1

Hello i no this is gonna sound stupid.
I have searched for this but the more i search the more i get confused, I have a new note 2 and im keen to root and install CWM.
JRO03C.N7100XXALIJ This is my Build but no one mentions this in any of the rooting forums,
Only the following builds are listed.

If i was going to make a guess id select
JRO03C.N7100XXALJI
But i dont wan to guess and brick my note 2, Any help would be appreciated or even a point in the right direction.
PS i have googled this also but it just sends me to random pages which list the build numbers

As far as I can tell JRO03C.N7100XXALIJ is the international version of the formwear. The others being from the USA and/or Canada.
The Galaxy Note2 ToolKit V2.3.1 can root the JRO03C.N7100XXALIJ. I think you have to make a donation to the software to get the latest update which includes the International version, but I may be wrong.
